I'm an old geezer who can barely cook. I love chicken wings and fries and ordered this air fryer to see if it actually did as good as other reviewers have reported. Wings and fries are the only foods I've cooked so far with this air fryer and they turned out perfectly. I love how easy it is to use, and easy cleanup is a bonus. I love this thing!

This was a magnificent find! I was looking for an air fryer for a while but wasn't sure if they were actually all they're cracked up to be. Plus having to spend a lot of money and finding out they didn't fit the bill would have been a pain. This was cheap enough (cheaper than any others I'd seen in 2 years), so I bit the bullet. I'm glad I did! This works incredibly well. The basket is a great size. I made savory snacks and they came out crunchy with all the shapes retained as I wanted. There was no degradation in flavor or texture either. And I was glad I didn't need to use oil to fry these (the only oil I used was a table spoon while making the dough but that's part of the normal recipe). I did notice a weird, plasticky smell the first couple of uses even though I made sure to wash everything before use. But on repeated use, the smell is gone or I can't discern it anymore. It certainly didn't interfere with the taste or aroma of the foods made in it. Makes great fries as well. Cooking is very quick as well and the added advantage of simply checking half way through to make sure without any mess or worries about the fryer being too hot make this item a must have.

Read everybody elses review and think i cured all potential problems right away. First made sure all screws were secured and tight, made a trial run on removing inner basket, then washed it all up and ran for 15 min. each at 2 hundred 3 and high temp. Plastic smell went completely away 5 min. into full temp. Unit has worked fantastic for more than 50 times one of best buys ever.

This was my first air fryer and I'm basically satisfied. My only gripe is that it is too small and I have to do multiple rounds when cooking something for the family. It's very easy to operate and easy to clean. I ran into one issue during setup, but it was because I didn't read the manual. The fryer will not come on if the basket is not inserted. I was minutes away from packing it back up for a refund and finally discovered my mistake. This fryer is more than enough if you're cooking a meal for one.

Didn't think I'd like this little appliance, but I do! My husband had a huge heart attack out of the blue in March, so I bought this to help with continuing our already-healthy eating lifestyle to hopefully prevent another one in the future. So far, I've cooked fish in it (yum), potatoes (which he loves), onion rings (almost 0 oil) and more and it's all come out very tasty. Couldn't be easier to cook in, either! Very easy to clean as well, so it's a score for us.

So far so good. I’ve had this thing about a week now and I’m really liking it. I read the reviews about the problems with the shut off detents. My experience so far is that this mechanism works fine. This machine is very simple, two knobs. One for heat, one for time. These are not fancy digital knobs either. It’s a great little machine for cooking food for one or two people. The food really does come out quite tasty. I’m not sure why they call it a fryer. I would call it a mini convection oven. This machine blows heated air, surrounding the food with even heat. This makes the food brown evenly and cook a bit faster. There is a drip pan so when you cook meats, the fats do not pool at the bottom of the meat. I find this particularly good when cooking bacon. Typically when I fry bacon on a cook top it ends up frying in a layer of bacon fat. Not with this machine, the fat drips away and for whatever reason the bacon tastes fantastic. Another great use is reheating food. I’m not a fan of microwaves and firing up my oven to heat up an 8 oz ribeye is a waste of time and energy. And for whatever reason the convection heating from this oven makes the reheated food taste better. So yes I would highly recommend one of these air fryers and this one in particular. Cleans up is easy in the dishwasher. Plus this thing was $40 Amazon prime! Update: I had the family over Christmas morning and I made a little bacon for us to snack on. Everyone liked it so much I ended up cooking 4 or 5 packs of bacon in this thing. I had it running about 2 hours straight. Worked like a champ. Like I said so far so good.

I put this photo to guess size of it.

I had a NuWave oven that finally died on me, so I was in the market for a countertop-sized replacement. Then a friend told me about air fryers and started looking for one. I was a little skeptical about how crispy the food would turn out using an air fryer, but the price was right the reviews on Bella seemed good, so I decided to buy one. The first one I purchased arrived used, but the issue was corrected quickly. When I received my new Bella air fryer, I first tried some fish sticks. Boy, was I impressed! They were crunchy and I didn’t have to flip them over to get an all around crisp (like I needed to do with my NuWave oven). Now I use it daily! This mom of 5 definitely recommends, and my kiddos approve.

great way to make things crispy without all that fat! And a tip to give your food that slight greasiness to activate the flavor, I sprayed my stuff with a very light coating of organic canola oil spray. I made some vegan popcorn "chicken" as shown in the picture, you can see it doesn't get that golden glow fried food does. But again still tastes decent

Tried it out today- cut up a potato and threw it in. It did a great job, but took about 30-35 minutes to get the desired crisp. I assume all the brands take about the same time to cook, so I think this is a great value.
