Works well

Works very well and easy to assemble. I am handicaped and my wife has to help with things I did in the past. So it was important to me that it works as discribed. It cleans well with power snow which we had I just hope it works as well on heavy wet snow. Word of caution don’t buy the heavy 12/3 100ft yellow extension cord on amazon. It is too heavy and will not unwind in cold weather. I returned the extension and purchased a 100ft 14/3 all weather from Home Depot and it works well.

Recently the northeast was hit with that giant blizzard. Well thank god I ordered this for my dad for Christmas! We got about a foot of snow. This little guy is equip to handle maybe max 8 inches, so we did have to shovel a little bit out of the way. Regardless this thing is AWESOME! Wow I can't believe the amount of snow it blew away. It doesn't scrape the bottom so it does leave a dusting still, but it cleared the path that we needed! We were able to make a path in our driveway, sidewalk, and front yard! We were even able to help our neighbors with their driveway! For $100 you can't beat it! This thing is great and my dad was really happy with it!

Perfect little machine

Perfect little machine for my 10' x 15' deck and walk way! We recently got 3 feet of snow in a week and between work, busy lives, and the wind, we couldn't keep up with the shoveling. This little machine makes life so much easier. The first time we used it one of us was shoveling the snow in front of the blower since there was too much snow collected to just power through (nearly two feet of packed snow). Now that we are caught up on the snow removal, there is no need to shovel the snow in front of the blower. I woke up to 4" of this white gold on the deck and had it all cleared off with the snow blower in less than 15 minutes, no fussing around or broken back! Assembly of the machine was quick, easy, and painless. Took about 20 minutes while watching Wheel of Fortune. Definitely worth the price!

Amazing!!

This little snow blower is absolutely amazing. I wanted something lightweight and it came right on the day we had a blizzard in Chicago. The first day we got roughly 9 in. And it plowed right through. Second day we got a few more again cleared it easily I only had to make two passes.. I was even able to do the public walk for the mailman. I can't even believe it! I wanted something small because I'm a woman and I'm a fairly small one at that. I purchased a big snow blower 4 years ago that weighs 80 lb and I just can't deal with all of the oil gas and spark plug problems.. not to mention the sheer weight of maneuvering it. I recommend this to absolutely anyone it works just as good as my $300 snowblower if not better(which I'm now going to give away to my nephew) Don't let the size fool you!!

Well worth it!

Quick assembly. So light and just plug in, push a button and off you go. I bought mine for clearing snow on my large deck. I needed plastic augers so as not to damage the wood. It cleared 8" of snow as fast as I could walk. My back wishes I had purchased years ago! (NOTE: I am 60 year old woman - so you can gauge comments.)

This little Snow Joe electric snowblower is very powerful. I am very impressed with it because it is not heavy or hard to push, and it pushes that snow without any issues. It doesn't make you tired or overworked because it responds to your every push and you can direct the snow wherever you please. The way the cord is located, it never gets in the way or you don't get caught into it, and that is a big plus. I would recommend it highly.

Perfect for my Application

Bought this mower last week with hopes that it would do the job. As a senior woman I wanted something light and easy to use. We just had about 7-8 inches of heavy snow. I did one pass yesterday when snow was about 3 inches deep and then again this morning for the remainder. Snow yesterday was very wet and heavy. Had to clear chute a number of times and snow didn't fly as far but it worked. Today snow wasn't as heavy and snow thrower worked perfectly. I'll have driveway plowed with major storms but now I can take care of smaller snowfalls. It takes a bit of time with a 15 inch span but that's OK.

A great product

In the south we don't get 10 feet on snow but we do get some and this unit is perfect for clearing driveways and sidewalks. We just got 9 inches in our area and it had no problems and worked better than I expected. Had it been a heavy, wet snow I don't know I'd have been as happy or not. My only suggestion is that it should have a GFCI plug on it.

Fantastic for Women

Living in Vermont in the winter I do a ton, no, tons of snow shoveling. After receiving an Amazon $100 gift certificate I decided I would treat myself to a snow removal device. As a senior woman I wanted something light and small. This is it! It seems like a toy but it really works great. I absolutely love it. It did a great job for me all winter. I don't let my husband use it because I'm afraid he may be too rough and break it though who knows. I'm gentle and patient with it and it clears the walks in no time. I carry it up and down the porch and basement stairs, where it's stored easily. It should be advertised in Women's magazines as it's a perfect product for us. Super lightweight, small, easy to carry, no messy gas and oil. Also I do my first clearing at 4-5 inches of snow so that it never is faced with too much depth. Works fine on 8-12 inches.
