Lego's are awesome and our children love them. This set is just like all the rest, no broken or missing pieces. This is the expectation that Lego sets for its products.

Consistently a hit!

Our daughter was thrilled to get this Lego Friends set. She has increasingly moved up from other, smaller sets to this one, and it lived up to every expectation. She was fascinated for hours as she went page-by-page through the instructions, putting it together. Bright, colorful, imaginative and fun. She now mixes the pieces in with her other sets to tell elaborate Lego Friend stories. Great STEM activity!

Fun Details

My 8 and 10 year old girls love LEGOs. For her most recent birthday, my daughter searched through dozens of different LEGO sets before finally deciding that the Summer Pool was the best one to add to her collection. The girls were so excited to immediately put it together when it arrived. The instructions are simple but the attention to every little detail is what I especially adore about these sets. They're just so fun. The girls can spend hours playing with them. I hope they never outgrow their love for them.

Fun for 7 yr old granddaughter

Purchased for granddaughter's 7th birthday. She had no problems putting the system together (with just a bit of adult assistance) and has played with it all week--along with her other Lego parts. She also received the tree house system and liked that too. High quality parts. Unfortunately, a lot of small pieces for folks to step on when they are left on the floor (ouch!), but she loves all the special little parts like flowers, sunglasses, animals, etc.

The tracks on the big equipment needs to be easier to put on

My grand kids love them. They are Lego nuts. The extra pieces are what I like best because they seem to misplace the smaller pieces even though they have a special drawer for each type of block. When Lego first came out years ago they weren't very creative so I only bought a couple of sets for my children, but now that my grandkids are getting them they are fantastic!!! My granddaughter loves the fact that you have Legos for girls, her friends collection is growing with every house and she can put together the older kids legos just fine

More features than other sets

Listening (pre-purchase) to my almost 9 year old granddaughter explain all the features this set would have, it seemed to have included more than other much higher priced sets had. Then, when my granddaughter showed me the set after she built it, she had discovered even more that it had that she hadn't noticed online. We were choosing between this & a much more expensive set that wouldn't have produced the excited phrase I got to hear many times: "And it has ____! And it has _____!" In the blanks were items like "another slide here! and a shower, and a hot tub, and it even has..!" I don't remember the feature that was a surprise to her. I like all Lego sets, but this one was better designed, cramming in more features than expected.

Great value for the price!

I purchased this for my 6 year old niece, who had a few of the smaller Heartlake sets. She immediately sat down and put it all together with very little guidance from adults and loves it. The directions were very clear and easy to follow, and the set had a lot more to it than I expected, including pool, showers, slide, a bathroom, a snack cabana, a lifeguard stand, and a hot tub next to a seating area - and of course, two girl figures with pool toys. There are LOTS of tiny pieces, so beware and be ready to search for them. Small children may need help with application of stickers as well. Very happy with this purchase!
