One factor in a great tasting & smelling pot of Coffee.

I am getting more filtration than I expected. When I bought these filters, they were reasonably priced. Follow the conditioning recommendations and monitor your coffee's taste. My coffee must be high quality (not decaffeinated) and potent. I drink my coffee black and I don't want colored water that tastes and smells bad. I have used two of the 12 filters thus far with excellent filtering results.

Filters are exactly as I expected

I had completely forgotten to get new filters for my coffee maker, and after a long weekend away - when I forgot to clean out the coffee grinds and leave it all open to avoid humidity - I came back to find fruit flies like coffee and my coffee machine. **DO NOT READ AHEAD IF EASILY GROSSED OUT** There were maggots in the grinds, I ran all that through the washer, made myself a coffee, but I felt it tasted like stale water, so I went back and finally remembered the water filter. It had fly eggs and the tiniest dead maggots and stank like old puddle. So I ordered my filters. My filters arrived in the time stated, the amount stated and do not smell of anything. I changed the filter (and had also cleaned the whole coffee maker) and am back to enjoying great coffee when I buy great coffee, and just nice coffee when that's what I get. Would buy again (in about a year an a half that they've ran out or sooner if I lose them) 12/10.

Weird to be excited about coffee filters?

Weird to be excited about coffee filters? Not if you're as dependent on that first cup of the day as I am. I never want to run out. I have ordered these coffee filters several times, and have no complaints. The product arrives on time and in good condition, plus they are economical. Recommend.

Big Difference!

I had two Cuisinart coffee machines (one a complicated grinder-brewer, the other a K-pod one-cup). I didn't even realize they needed new filters. When they both started malfunctioning, I hopped online and got smart -- bought these puppies right away. They just came, and a couple of uses later, the machines are no longer malfunctioning! In fact, they're very responsive -- great coffee again, with great taste. Kudos to Cuisinart for using the same filters throughout their line of machines. And kudos to K&J for this affordable product. (And don't forget to run the descaler through your machine regularly!)

Works like a dream

These filters work fine and fit my cuisinart Keurig perfectly. I change them abou once a month or so and do not have to use bottled water for my coffee.

We brew a lot of coffee at our house and we've forgotten to replace these filters until K&J delivered these. Every 60 days and the water is filtered fresh and the coffee tastes great. Best charcoal filter for your dollar!

Great packaging! Each individual charcoal filter is wrapped and then placed in a larger bag with directions on the outside there is no box which is great and less wasteful and comes with a great reminder on a cute little tag on the inside of the bag please also fit perfectly in my Cuisinart coffee maker and arrived on time thanks for such a great service and a great product!

Be sure to rinse before use

Good value at this price point. Before using one I put placed it into a cup of water. At first this filter floated. Using a spoon I gently compressed the sides of the filter to squeeze out air. Faint trails of charcoal dust appeared at first as it sunk. Every few minutes I'd carefully squeeze the filter again. After 15 minutes of soaking I held the filter under a flowing water faucet, just to be sure I'd thoroughly rinsed away residue. THEN I inserted that filter into the Cuisinart coffee maker I'd just purchased along with. The coffee tastes gloriously rich and flavorful, rivaling my neighborhood's java hangout. I'm very pleased!

Great quantity for a VERY reasonable price

I have been starring at this red light on the coffee maker for what seemed like 2 weeks. Okay, get out the manual, read that the filter is in need of changing. Start looking at stores that you would think carry filters, I mean, hey they sell MY coffee maker, they should have the filters right? WRONG! So now the hubbs and I are trying to remember where we bought the thing so maybe THEY SELL the filters... NOPE. Another week goes buy,found the store do they have in store?? Well of course they don't. Go online looking through the stores website that rhymes with Dead, Math and Leon ( okay closest I could come up with at 1:30 a.m.). nope they don't have it either. But they sell my maker .... UGH now Low and Behold, the saving grace of all things Amazon, I FOUND THE FILTERS!! and not only did I find the filters I found the filters in a 12 pack for a great deal. I will have filters for the next couple of months (Winter in the PNW, coffee is a lifesaver) anyway, save yourself the hassle, the gas, the FRUSTRATION and just buy a pack from this company. Shipping was fast, the price cannot be beat.

Very good pruchase

I've always purchased the Cuisinart brand filters but decided to take a chance with something different since the name brand is a little pricey. I'm glad I did. These filters are the just the right size and appear to be of the same quality without the big price tag. Glad I tried them.
