4 Year Old Boy LOVES the bones & claws!

My son loved this set. Admittedly, because he is 4 years old, we only got about a quarter of the way through the construction before having to take a break. He then decided he would prefer to turn what we had constructed into a spaceship instead of the dinosaur, and took creative reign at that point, but I think in a year or so, he will have the patience to actually complete this as designed. In spite of not using it as designed, the kit is really cool, and he absolutely loves the claws and bones, etc and uses them with his other lego sets.

Great dinosaur set

This is a fantastic Lego set. My son had me buy it for him with some of his birthday money, and he's had to share it with my 3yo. The three different dinosaurs in one set thing is seriously awesome, and I really don't mind being asked to transform the thing into a new dinosaur. (I like putting Lego together even at 38, heh) Each dinosaur has a lot of moving parts, which gets a bit frustrating since it comes apart easily, but that's also what makes it really cool. My younger son's face lights up whenever he sees the "new" dinosaur. Very clever design, and I'll definitely buy others like it.

So creative

The people at Lego are amazing, this kit is the most creative of any I've ever seen or dreamed of. The ball joints give the creations a very lifelike range of motion, my 5 yo son loves these.

Great for the price!

This didn't take long to put together, but my son loved it, despite being solely interested in Ninjago Legos usually. I believe his exact words were, "It's cool, mom." For the price, I'd say that's a win. I wish the rest of the Mighty Dinosaurs collection was as reasonably priced.

good set of builds with a 4th one too!

this is actually a 4n1. you can find the 4th set of directions on lego.com/creator. My son loves this. Good selection of builds. Sometimes when you buy creators there are cool build and others that aren't as cool. My son loves all 4 of these! He wants more of these sets so he can have a dino collection so he doesn't have to take a part.

Lots of use at this price point, really a 4-in-1 set

We're a LEGO family, have a bunch of sets, but this 3 in 1 set has gotten a lot of use. One thing that made it even better was a fourth set of directions you can get online as a PDF to make a brachiosaurus-type dino. Will definitely check out more of these 3-in-1 sets in the future.

Cool 3-in-1 Lego Dinosaur Kit with bonus build available

This is one of the most fun 3-in-1 kits that I have found at such a great price. You have the ability to build not only the advertised 3 dinosaurs but also a fourth bonus build set of instructions are available at Lego (see photos attached to this review.) The builds that come with the kit are a T-Rex, a Triceratops and a Pterodactyl. The bonus build appears to be a Brachiosaurus. We bought two kits so we could have dinosaur battles with our grandson. He is really getting into dinosaurs at the moment, so this kit came at a perfect time. In order to construct each dinosaur, you pretty much have to take the previous one completely apart. It only takes a short time (less than an hour) to rebuild it though it may take younger kids more time. The dinosaurs are articulated very well. The legs, tails, and neck/heads all have hinge points. It makes it great fun to use in battle. We love the kit. The only thing that could make it better would be in Lego had offered it in a variety of colors.

One of my favorite lego sets so far. And so well priced!

My sons have many, many lego sets. This is definitely one of my favorites. The details are amazing (especially the teeth and claws). We have only assembled it as the t-Rex so far, but it is so cool. This is a no brainer for any 4-6 year old (girl or boy) birthday gift.

Great set. My daughter loves it (6 years old).

One of the best LEGO sets of its size. Sturdy enough to actually play with without it falling to pieces (and that's saying a lot when it's a T-Rex). Sure, a claw or foot might pop off, but nothing catastrophic. I am buying another set to keep for the next time one of my daughter's friends has a birthday party. Any kid who likes dinosaurs and LEGOs (which is all of them, right?) should love this set.
