Let's the imagination run wild!!!

Our 2 1/2 year old granddaughter loves this LEGO set! It combines the fun of LEGO's and a doll house into one toy. It really get's her imagination going, and we are amazed at the ideas that she has and the creativity that she shows while using the set. She is so talkative while building and playing. Toys like this are so important for a child's development! And Grand-Pa likes playing too!!!

Great toddler toy.

This is a really cute Duplo set that contains lots of pieces. You can build a fairly big house with it (4 rooms) and there a few people, a car and other accessories. Duplos are great because even little kids can do them easily on their own and build lots of different things. It keeps both my kids entertained (2 and 4). I got this set for $20 so wait for it to go on sale.

A dollhouse you get to build

I like the Lego duplo My Town Family House. I was going back and forth between buying my two and a half year old daughter a building toy or a doll house, and the Lego duplo house seemed like the perfect combination, a doll house you get to build. I think it is a great toy for some early imaginative role play with familiar everyday scenarios. The set comes with 69 pieces, including a mom, dad and little girl. There is the right amount of different furniture to represent the different rooms in a real house.It works with all other Lego duplo, I added a couple of other kids and cat in the picture. I had a good time building it with my daughter, it wasn’t too difficult for her to follow the directions together with me and she was really proud of building a Lego set like her brothers. She has also taken it apart and build it in her own way, which I think is legos real strength, and why I choose it over a doll house. Following the instruction booklet was a great exercise in color and shape recognition and as always Lego is great for fine motor skills.

We have lots and lots of Duple products. It's one of those toys that the kids return to time and again. "My Town" is one of those wonderful sets where the little ones can learn to follow directions to build as shown, or use their imaginations and combine them with other sets to build endless variations. Highly recommended for children from two years on up. Often when the younger kids bring out the Duplos to build, older kids and adults like to join in the play.

Perfect

The Duplo series is perfect for my 4.5 year old. After a try with another non lego brand, we didn't have very high hopes, but this has the perfect level of difficulty for him to build himself, yet enough "fun" to keep him focused and playing with it for hours! I would highly recommend this product for a boy aged 2-6.

Good price for great toy

I got this to use with the children I work with in early intervention, and it's a huge hit! Good price for great toy! I especially like to use this one with toddlers who have older siblings, so they can play together. So much fun, and even the parents enjoy it, too!

Cute new Lego series “My Town” in Duplo blocks – Family House

This set is from a new Duplo series called My Town. The new series is appears to be the Duplo version of Lego City theme series. They show buildings and places and people you would find in a town. In this set, Family House, you receive 69 blocks. There are three characters – little girl, mother and father. For a Duplo set, it is quite large and takes some work to assemble. My grandson is 3.5 years old and was able to put it together with me. I show him the instructions, he finds the blocks and then he puts the blocks together (with a little help from me.) This set is of a house which can be built in a variety of ways. The instructions show show to build it as a split level but you can always make it a three story house, too. There is a kitchen, bathroom, parents bedroom, patio, and up in the roof areas, a bedroom for the little girl. There are lots of fun elements to the set with a red car, stove, refrigerator, beds, toilet and sink, and patio furniture teapot and cup. Lots of fun to play with. I purchased this lovely little set for my grandchildren to play with. I intend to buy more of the series so they can put an entire town together. My grandson is already enjoying playing with it and my granddaughter (at one year old) is having fun with the people figures and knocking the house down so we can put it together again.

Cute duplo set for ages 3-5yrs

My daughter loves duplo blocks so when I saw this town home I had to buy it! It’s awesome that the family is darker complexion because my children are all mixed and a lot of the sets come with light skinned people, it was nice to see some variation. The first day we got this we built it together and she played with it for two hours straight then off and on for the rest of the day. We are going to get a lot of use out of this block set.

<3 Duplos <3

My 3 ½ yr. old granddaughter loves to play with Duplo blocks! This is a great set that gives her a lot of options for building and allows her to build and then play with her creation. She also has the Duplo train set and enjoys combining the different sets, a 16-wheel mobile home anyone? I would buy this over a standard doll house any day, encourages creativity and problem solving over passive play!
