Ok so I was pretty torn about what to buy for this new house because I have never had wood floors before and the price range and list of options is pretty huge. You can go all the way down to the cheapest wetjet knockoff for like $15? Or all the way up to a $300 all-in-one Bissell. So I really took the time to read a ton of reviews and research. The Bissell has potential to be better but with a fair amount of complaints too and quite a bit higher price point so I decided to go with this Shark instead. Now when I was younger I remember my mom having some piece-of-you-know-what Shark vacuum so my memories of the brand weren't glowing lol. But technology has come a long way and you can't really judge a company based on your memories of a really old product. And besides that was a vacuum and this is a steamer to boot! So I put those negative thoughts away and decided to try this shark steamer and I'm so happy I did! I have been cleaning like 1000 sq. ft. of sealed wood floors for a few weeks and the difference is night and day. I bought some Bono wood floor cleaner too because all my friends in my mommy group said it was the best, but I haven't even used it yet because the Shark with just water has done such a good job! I also love that the Shark doesn't force you to buy microtransactions in the form of brand-specific cleaners like someone else *cough* it's just water! And I was skeptical that "just water" could even do such a good job but since it's hot steam it's really something else. The floors are starting to look so shiny and they were so dirty a few weeks ago from years without a deep cleaning (I just moved in here so don't look at me lol!) and also current snow drips and such getting tracked in. Now they're looking shiny and almost new. I'm thinking another few full steams in the coming weeks and they probably will look NEW, but I am already loving the shine from the previously dull wood. I keep catching myself admiring it. And it feels so nice to walk barefoot or even in my socks, sliding around on CLEAN floors. And it's pretty easy to use. It takes a LITTLE elbow grease on a really dirty wood floor, but it just slides over the tiles and laminate in the kitchen and bathroom. I would recommend this to anyone with hard floors honestly. It's awesome. Way more effective than a Swiffer Wetjet and way cheaper with better reviews than the all-in-one Bissell.

Right out of the box extremely easy to assemble and get up and running. I tried it in my dining room hard wood and was floored (pun intended) so I decided to try it on my ceramic tile in the basement. Holy wow! It took paint off the floor that had been sitting for over a year from the old owners! I thought I’d have to get paint thinner since soap and water did nothing. Bona scrubbing did nothing. I hit a spot that I hadn’t touched before and it came right up! I’ll try adding the video if it’ll let me. GET ONE NOW! You WONT be disappointed.

Yes this is a game changer i used a wet vacuum for years, but i got a black light when i got a dog to help see the dirt in my house. There was a lot of problems on my tile floor and this cleaned it so fast and easy. The start up time is less than 30 seconds and you can reuse everything. This has made it easy to keep my floor clean enough to eat off of. I use one mob pad a room so i ended up getting more so i could clean more than 2 rooms a day. This uses little to no space, this replace 2 cleaning tools in my house.

I bought this steam mop to replace an old shark steam mop I had for five years. I would’ve never replaced the old one but the electrical plug it started overheating and I was worried it was going to start a fire. I’ve used this mop twice. My old mop has just a microfiber pad and I thought the house was clean. I used the old mop and then the new mop to see what the difference was and I must say, the new mops pad was DIRTY! It made me really rethink if my house was clean all these years. The new mop is lightweight and easy to maneuver. It does take more water than my old one, but I think the tank is smaller. The new mop even comes with a handy cup so I’m no longer spilling water all over the place. Most importantly, the cord doesnt overheat and I can once again, mop in peace.

I've owned a couple of shark steam mops over the years; but this one is unbelievable. My two English Springer Spaniels have providing me with the opportunity to see if it can stand the test of time. I paid more to have the variable steam and I can honestly say it is worth every penny. The machine is a true workhorse. What I like, I don't need to spray anything on the toughest spots; the highest steam level breaks right thru the grime.

I have used this a number of times since receiving it and love it. It is easy to use love the steam shot to get stubborn spots and love that it cleans baseboards as well. I have two cats two big dogs and four kids and a lot of wood flooring cleans them beautifully. I also love it for cleaning my bathroom tile floor it gets the hairspray off beautifully

2900 sq ft home with all of downstairs hardwood floors and tile - this Shark cleaned it all on a tank and a quarter and that was a first steam clean with me taking my time and going over stained and difficult spots well. (And time for both of our pre-teen daughters to try mopping for the first time - that alone was easily worth the $) Used one side of the two included (4 sides in total) cleaning mats and the floors are magnificent. The Shark heated up quickly and kept an even, consistent volume of steam across the mop head for the whole time. Since then several more areas cleaned - bathrooms, laundry room and I'm having a good time doing it. The cord can be very mildly annoying but for that necessary and very minor issue I get floors that are perfectly clean. I haven't gone to Max heat yet (but I will) - it's more than effective on medium steam and I was being monitored by those who think Max = plasma mode/floor melting. Gentlemen will of course, wait until they go out to try it. No more nasty, smelly, molded and mildewing junk mops that last a few months at best and are a money pit for replacement sponges/heads. No weird spin system pain in the wallet gimmicky drama mops. Good riddance. I think especially if you have kids, pets that are on the floors playing and also bring whatever is on the floors into beds and couches, etc. this is a no brainier. If you have to clean floors do it with a steam-spewing fire stick that scares germs to death. Then sit and enjoy praise and adoration from a grateful, awed family.

Excellent, well designed. But purchase extra map heads. Two are not enough, unless you are doing just one room.

I have tile floors and rarely cleaned them (aside from vacuuming) because it was SUCH a hassle. Swiffer mops got expensive, needed at least 5 just for the living room, and left a weird residue. Mop and bucket just ended up mopping with dirty water so that required at bucket and mop head change halfway through. Have a Bissel hard floor cleaner machine from nearly 10 years ago (still works!) but it is loud (best cleaning times are when my Tiny Toddler Tornado is asleep), cumbersome, doesn't clean or dry the floor very well, and leaves a film of residue. I tracked the Shark all the way to my house and cleaned my floors at 8p I was so excited and it was AWESOME! Light, easy to use, dried the floors immediately, floors felt clean under bare feet. No, it doesn't stand on its own as others have mentioned. The water reservoir doesn't come off but it comes with a graduated cylinder for easy refills and it's very light to raise to a sink. No on/off button so as soon as it's plugged in, it's in standby. Three levels low-Med-high and lists which setting is best for your floors. Flip the mop head over and that is how the steam sprays. I've been looking at these for quite some time and wish I did this sooner!!

As a women obsessed with clean, this is the tool to buy. I have purchased a few of these now for family members. This shark really cleans. Order extra pads when you buy it. You will need them because as soon as you see how dirty the pads get from use, you will want to change them frequently when you mop the floors.
