Great addition to my shop for hobby work
Very pleased with the work table. After reading some of the prior reviews, I was apprehensive but the table that I receive works very smoothly and precisely. It will work very nicely to mill out pockets for inlay mother of pearl inlays in wood (guitar and Banjo fret boards) . No this is not a $600 cast iron machined x-y table, but for the price, I am very pleased. The base is cast aluminum and the table top is an aluminum extrusion. Some of the parts are polyurethane such as the end caps for the extruded table top and cover plates. The polyurethane parts are substantial, I think they are cast (maybe injection molded). I will probably do some light machining of aluminum and brass parts and I think the work table will work fine.

Great little table for small projects and for the price.
The unit comes well packaged and arrived undamaged. For small projects, which is why I bought, it does the job well, bolted right to my drill press base. My drill press is from Harbor Freight which for the money has done me well. I do small projects so I don't actually need thousand dollar machines, though if machined for a living I would go another route. As a homeowner doing small work this table does the trick.

Very solid and precise.
I'm very happy with my purchase. This little work table is set up on my Dremel workstation. The table moves smoothly right to left. It's a little little bit sticky in the forward and backward movement but I suspect a little oil will fix that. It is very solid and precise. I bought this one after reading reviews for it and similar products for a lot more money with less favorable reviews.

Smooth Working Table...
This milling table is very light duty, movement is very smooth on both axis Perfect for Hobby stuff, bolt down onto Dremel 220 drill press allows for super accurate drilling, and of course milling, machining of small parts,

Great functionality in an inexpensive tool
This little work table is a great value. If you take care and don't horse it, it should be great for small projects. I bought a drill stand to use with it, and it didn't quite line up to attach it with 4 bolts. I got 3 to line up, which should be enough. Not sure whether that's the fault of the table or the press. I lubricated the desk augers to reduce wear and friction. One problem was that one of the tapped holes on a project clamp did not match the bolts supplied. I had to retap the hole. But otherwise, for the price, I give it 5 stars. Hopefully it holds up.

I wish I had bought this earlier!

I am blown away at what you get for the price. Yes its small, yes, it's aluminum, but it does in fact give you control of your X and Y axis on your drill press. I am thinking about ordering a second one to mount on an "L" bracket to use on my Jet 9x20 lathe to make it into a mini horizontal mill. Loving this. Just don't go "200 lb gorilla" on it as it's simply not up to the same abuse as cast iron.

The cuts were so much more precise that I threw out the ones I did previously with out it.
So far have successfully used this to mill plastic parts. The cuts were so much more precise that I threw out the ones I did previously with out it.

Nice positioner
I mounted this on a drill press and used it for precise positioning of small holes. I did a little milling on a wood block to make some fixturing, but there is obvious play in the slides which is difficult (impossible?) to adjust out. I would say that it's fine for non-precise milling in soft materials, but as a precision positioner, it's great. By the way, each division of the ruler on the adjustment barrels will move the table .002", with .050" per revolution. Also, there's a lot of backlash, so don't expect to change directions (this is common in standard milling tables, too).
