An iPad essential.

I literally can't live without this stand. I have a bluetooth keyboard, so with this stand, my 12 inch iPad becomes almost a second laptop. It's sturdy, stable, well made, and you can angle the iPad itself in whatever way you need. The clamp grips tightly, but you can remove it easily. I haven't tried to use it with the iPad in it's case, since it's a portfolio, so I can't say for sure, but I *THINK* you could still use it with the case on if it's not a really large one. It comes with two clamp sizes, so you would be able to use this with any size iPad.

This is an updated review. We initially gave this one star because it is advertised to work with an iPad Mini, however that is not exactly true. There is no ability to plug in smaller ~8" tablets while in the stand, and access to the home button is partially blocked. We felt a bit ripped off because we are using our iPad mini as a Square P.O.S. terminal and this stand didn't work for that. After contacting AboveTEK with our concerns, they immediately made it right by refunding our purchase and shipping us a newer product that works perfectly for us. This excellent customer service prompted us to update the review because the stand is actually gorgeous and perfect for larger tablets, with a solid grip and heavy base. I wouldn't hesitate to order it again for a 10"+ tablet. The clamp is not small enough to grip the tablet on the sides so you have to mount it vertically. This would be fine, except for the fact that there is then no way to plug in the charging cable. If they had simply included an opening in the gripping clamp for a cable to pass through, it would be a five star product. Seller: please update the description to include this crucial information.

Extremely convenient!

I have a naughty dog, it likes to play all the time and it always jumps into me when I am watching movies and doing other things on my tablets. I have been using those popular stands but they are all wobbly and my tablet always fall off when my dog keeps touching my device aggressively. This stand finally makes my tablet stable when my dog plays around, I really like the rubber pads inside the clamps it tightly grips adding a lot of pressure and traction to my tablet so it stays there very stably. It really creates great convenience to me when I just need to use one hand to carry the whole thing to use it in different rooms at home because I used to have to carry tablet with one hand and a stand in the other.

Great product - both in quality and functionality.

I was really impressed with this device in terms of the quality/workmanship and functionality. It works really well. Holds my IPAD Pro with a firm grips at any angle or rotation. Very, very secure. No fear of it falling and the IPAD pro is not a small device I expect this stand to last a very long time.... I see no reason that will not. As an aside, I use it to view reference material for drawing and painting and it even hold stead fast on my slanted drafting table. Truly a five star product.

Great stand for iPad or smart phone.

I really like this stand. It holds my iPad securely in any position I want. It comes with two arms that will hold any size iPad or smart phone. You can rotate the device to any position, and you can tilt it forward or back. I am very pleased with it.

Very Impressive Tablet Stand

If you ever needed a iPad stand then this is the one you want to get. It’s well made, something I would have expected coming from the people named after fruit. It holds you iPad firmly in any orientation plus you can switch from one to the other with one hand. The ball bearing is smooth and tight with no play in the joint. It has been invaluable in my kitchen, I can watch the news or movie plus all my recipes are on my tablet. I well be purchasing a second one for my bedroom.

Perfect sturdy stand!

I originally was going to buy those name-brand stands with very low prices, but I chose this stand due to its sturdy design and turned out it is well worth the price. The foot, with rubber pads attached at the bottom, gives it great stability, while it can be adjusted to all kinds of angles you need (instead of just a few fixed position). Each position is very secure since the joint that enables the movement is really tight and the attached hex wrench can be used to tighten it up when gets loose. The whole structure feels pretty rigid in hands. I really like this quality feel and I think it’s definitely worth the price to have a solid material stand that can protect and display my expensive tablet computer
