Used this clay mitt on my black RR and it lived up to hype.... this is super awesome and does exactly what you need in order to get the results that an actual clay bar would do, but in half the time. I simply soak up the car with car soap and go to work with clay mitt. I feel don't need to wax the car anymore but I'm still going to with my chemical guys butter waxz This mitt is outstanding

Saved me $000's!

My brand new vehicle had tons of ash falling on it after the fires in California. Unfortunately the car sat and baked in the sun as well. I was worried I was going to have to pay hundreds of dollars to get a detailing done. I used this clay mitt it along with some high-end automotive soap and it took everything off without a scratch! You have to read the directions carefully on how to use the Clay mitt properly.

Great Clay-mitt. I've used clay bars, and clay rounds, clay rags. and this Clay Mitt works better then the rest., It seemed to glide much easier, It didnt leave those black streaks, and it was super easy to use. Im a DIY weekend deatailer and I love it.

Clay mitt is a time saver when used on a vehicle that has very lite contamination. Just be sure to use a good lubricant. We have made some test runs with vs. H2o and the results were about the same. If you use water use it in constant flow method, if not when the mitt crosses a dry spot it will leave behind black streaks and they are a bit tedious to remove. Happy mitting.

What it can and cannot do.

The product itself is great, so much easier then using a clay bar. That being said, the fine grade mitt is perfect for finessing an already excellent finish. If you are thinking like I was that you can use it to take all imperfections out of the paint, such as bird droppings and water spots you will be disappointed. I am guessing that with enough time and elbow grease you can do it but why bother. Don't get me wrong the mitt is great and if they make a medium grade mitt I am all over it.

AutoCare Clay Mitt Fine Grade Worked Well No Problems

The AutoCare Clay Mitt Fine Grade worked well with no problems. Cleaned my paint fine prior to applying my ceramic finish. I let it dry out thoroughly and stored it in a large baggie. Thanks DMWorrel

As advertised.

When I see a poor review IMO it's simply a case of operator error. I've used this mitt on 5 different occasions now and it works as advertised. Easier and much faster than regular clay bar.

Great clay mitt

This is a good clay mitt and makes the process much quicker since it covers so much more area than a block or traditional clay. It's high quality and is made very well.

Goo mitt for the hime washing enthusiast

This mitt did a very good job of removing most contaminants on my ride. I say most because it did not get off all contaminants like a clay bar would. There was still rail dust rust stops left on the clear cost that would not come clean. Overall though this is a very good mitt. Left a silky smooth finish on the exterior surface. Can definitely feel the difference when complete

Good deal

Worked pretty good. My vehicles are well taken care of and get washed 2-3 times a week. occasionally they get a roughness to the paint from tree sap to a deep road grime. The mite is very handy and didn't seem to scratch the paint at all. really like the hand mite
