This is perfect for our needs! We removed our cabinet and drawers in the bathroom and replaced it with this 5-tier Seville Classics shelving that slips right into the open space left by the removal. I also purchased baskets and containers to hold all of our towels, hair products, cleaning supplies, paper towels, and toilet paper etc. It's working out great. There were complaints about the wheels being flimsy but I have not had any problem whatsoever and even though the unit is quite full it is easy to roll out to reach what I need. I was also lacking a linen closet and extra sheets and blankets are stored nicely in a storage container with lid on the very top shelf. I am beyond thrilled with this product. I am considering another unit to place in my bedroom closet to hold folded sweaters, sweatshirts, jeans and a few staples like extra 2-liter diet cokes, cases of water and other items I purchase in quantity. I highly recommend this unit and wish I hadn't waited so long to make the switch.

GREAT QUALITY AT A GREAT PRICE--HERE'S HOW IT EXCEEDS EXPECTATIONS

From the moment I opened the box of this Seville Classic steel wire shelf unit, I was impressed by the quality in a way I didn't expect, especially at such a low price point. The first thing I noticed was the neatness and care with which all of the parts had been packed to insure that they arrived without damage--it was a level of attention to detail that you usually only see with more expensive products. The next thing that caught my eye was the sturdy, high quality feel and finish of the steel parts themselves--yes, made in China (of course), but nothing like the kind of stamped out junk metal that you might fear getting. The tool-free assembly was also a pleasant surprise, as the parts came together in an easy, flawless fit. Instructions are clear, though you may find you don't need them. One reviewer complained that this unit doesn't include leveling feet, but it does, in addition to wheels. And the wheels would be my only minor complaint--they get the job done, but the quality isn't quite as good as the other parts in this unit. Excellent shelves!

Excellent units that came uniquely packaged all nested into a nice compact rattle-free box, 2 of the 3 rec'd so far arrived in perfect condition. They came with lots of extra plastic shelf parts, levellers and casters, though I'd never use casters and the ones included with these are especially cheap- I wouldn't even use them on a desk chair, but that doesn't matter since I used the levellers. Nice fit and finish, reasonably heavy wire and poles, yeah this will definitely hold the weight they claim it will. Waiting for the larger corner unit for my computers and related to sit on, but the first 2 units are in place and loaded up with HEAVY plaster, terracotta and cast iron sculptures- hundreds of pounds in the photo. I def plan to order several more units!

It fits and really helps, so easy to put together

I have a storage closet in my small one bedroom apartment, and this is just a big open space. I did need more so I started looking at shelves. Shelves for bedrooms are not deep enough, or sometimes not enough room between shelves, to hold my boxes. Other free standing units were way to big to fit in the space, too wide, too tall or both. So I found Seville Classics 4-Tier UltraZinc Steel Wire Shelving /w Wheels, 14" D x 30" W x 48" H Which with the measurements would fit great in the space. I was able to adjust each shelf height to fit all I need too, and as the closet has one shelf at the top, and there is enough clearance to use the space above it. I did not attach the wheels. I went through 3 other shelving units until I found this, even if the listed numbers said it would fit, they didn't. Now I am so happy and more organized.

worth the price!

this shelf was perfect size to fit in our hall closet. my husband brews wine and beer, which has to sit in a dark, cool place with low air flow. assembly was very easy, however two people really helps. since the storage rack won't need to move, and the wheels have a lower weight limit, i went with the stable feet. There are two five gallon glass carboys on the bottom shelf, and even when full of liquid they do not seem to warp the shelf. the plastic shelf covers are on back order, but will be helpful to make sure little things don't fall through. overall this feels good quality, simple, and elegant in a way. much more so than plastic anyway. it was pricey, but i feel that it was 100% worth it. we just increased storage space in the closet by 3 times at least. husband is happy to have room to expand his setup and much more professional feel than setting the jugs on the floor.

LOVE this shelving unit! Needed space for ALL my "kitchen toys"! This was easy to put together, perfectly functional for my needs and even came with extra plastic pieces and stationary feet AND wheels, so I can use it either way!

Exactly what I needed for easily accessible storage

I just moved into a studio apartment that has incredibly limited kitchen storage. I got this to solve the problem and it does very nicely. The chrome makes it look more appealing than just an industrial shelf and is nice and sturdy. Don't get me wrong - the shelf is still placed where it's hidden behind my fridge at first glance and shouldn't be the focal point of any room, but it isn't flat out ugly. Even with my terrible assembly skills (user error, not product), it's successfully holding an Airplay speaker, toaster oven, all of my pots and pans, spices, cutting boards, etc. If you're using it in a kitchen like me, I recommend getting "10 Pack 3.5 Inches S Shape Chrome Finish" to hang things off the sides. Would also be great in a storage unit or garage. Worth the money!

Perfect for many purposes...

Bought one to use as a front entry "coat closet" in our very large but poorly laid-out apartment. We added an extra shelf for more storage and put bins on two of the shelves for hats, gloves, sunglasses, sun block, etc. The bottom several shelves hold boots and shoes. Then we added a DecoBros chrome coat rack to one of the sides to hang coats and jackets from. And two more coat hooks hung on one end to hang bags, purses, scarves from. We came back to Amazon and bought another to use as an unofficial pantry in the kitchen. Again we added another shelf for additional storage. We have filled the rack to capacity with clear acrylic containers (Rubbermaid Professional Kitchen storage containers-12 qt. and various sizes of InterDesign fridge & pantry organizers) housing tons of baby food jars, spice jars, etc. Please see my pic to get an idea of the monumental amount of food you can get on one of the racks if you are creative enough and perhaps played lots of Tetris as a kid. We purposely put the bottom shelf up pretty high (since it's next to our front door in the open floor plan apartment) so we could put rain or snow boots on a rug in front of a fan to dry out overnight every night. Both of these shelving racks have been strapped to the wall with anti-tip brackets not only to prevent a child or toddler from knocking them over but also because we don't have them the long way against the walls to either side of our front door- we have them the short way making an almost hallway when you come in and I could see even a clutsy adult knocking a rack over. Regardless, the manufacturer says to put heavier items on the bottom and light items on the top but that wouldn't have worked out for us. I still suggest using anti-tip brackets whether you have children or not. This rack is only a couple inches shorter than me and with the amount of stuff we have on either of them it would probably kill me if it tipped over on me. I strongly suggest getting shelf liners no matter what you're using these racks for as items tend to tip over on the shelves or fall through otherwise. With about 100 pounds of glass jars on some of the shelves they still don't bend and are super sturdy when on the leveling feet instead of the caster's they come with. Definitely recommend these chrome shelving units for anyone needing more storage or stylish storage in their home or business that's also very sturdy. *Update*----- many years later---- I forgot to mention that I had melded three units into the two units mentioned above- harvesting extra shelves from a spare unit. When I did that, somehow I ended up with two chrome units and one UltraZinc unit. If I pointed it out to someone standing right next to it, they might be able to spot the Zinc shelves against the chrome posts but otherwise they are so close in shine and color that you could easily use them interchangeably. Still very satisfied with my shelving units and now own many more chrome wire shelving units around my home. Many years of heavy loads on my shelves haven't bowed them in the slightest!

Perfect for my kitchen

I ordered this to hold my microwave and my toaster oven, along with my cookbook collection. It works perfectly. I put a cutting board with skid proof edges under the microwave. I also added some yarn to the ends of the shelves where I wanted cookbooks because I was in a hurry. It works. It went together easily, had extra pieces included, and I love it!

A Great Rack

I bought this wife for my wife who uses this to store her ceramics in her pottery studio. The Seville shelf is easy to assemble and to adjust the shelves. The wheels are durable and roll smooth. The finish in the Seville shelf is great as it is easy to clean. We have had this shelf for 4 year and is holding up like new. The shelves are strong and do not bend when heavy items are on them.
