really does work well, battery lasted and was able to finish my trimming project. Just BEWARE of the blades if you are using it hand held, they are sharp and the opening is big enough for your finger to get chopped. So be careful. Great tool !

This puppy can trim.

When I first put the hedge trimmer attachment on, I was skeptical and indeed it first didn't work. I had gotten it mis-aligned (I'm sure the instructions make it clear how to put the attachment on but who reads instructions. lol). I got it on right, finally, and commenced to trimming. I have a huge hedge (live on a corner lot so have hedge on all the side and in the front). I expected it to die in 10 to 15 minutes but after 30, I completely cut the hedge (just cut it 2.5 weeks ago with my pole hedge cutter). This tool did a surprisingly fantastic job at cutting what I wanted it to. The only fatiguing part was to maintain the trigger. lol Thanks SunJoe; now I got to see if you sell a big boy trimmer for the bigger branches, but for maintaining my hedge between big cuts, this little puppy delivers (and more). I haven't tried the grass trimmer attachment yet, but, I'm sure it will work too if I have a need for it. :)

Easy and effective

I loved this product. I needed something to help me trim the edges next to my aluminum metal fence. I wanted it to be easy to use and not to weigh too much. This product is excellent. It is very easy to operate, and it doesn't weigh at all. Once you finish, you plug it in and recharge it. It goes under the fence, and it doesn't destroy it. I love it!

Just what I needed to trim around newly planted trees. This is not a high powered weed trimmer- it is for the delicate jobs. Hopefully it lasts more than one year (other reviews have made me skeptical in purchasing something that will be in a landfill in one year because batteries are not serviceable. We will see- so far so good.

Sun Joe clippers

First time we tried to use the clippers we were disappointed. It just would not cut anything. I got the booklet that came with the item, looking for trouble shooting suggestions. None were available. So I read through the instructions, (real men don't read instructions right?) I read that I needed to hold the clippers @ a 15 degree angle. Why I don't know. Anyway, back outside, tried them again. Wow 😊, they cut everything I needed to trim. I do recommend the item. Short time to charge the battery. O didn't time how long we used it, but it will cut at least an hour.c .

Also a nice change from other tools

Used it for at least an hour and it didn't need re-charging which is refreshing with these things. Cut through fairly thick grass and weeds without a problem. Also a nice change from other tools. Slides into the handle nicely. Not sure it really rolls on those back wheels, but it does move back and forth on the ground without getting hung up.

the shears/hedger is a very great product

Oh My goodness , folks. You gotta get you one of these cordless grass shears/hedger.. I was shocked at the power of this little machine. I have not used the hedger yet for I could not stop using the grass shears in the flower bed, on the side walks and patio area. We have some really tough grass with large runner shoots. the shears just ran right through them. The is the handiest little machine ever. AT my age I do not have to worry about the charge stopping before me! Susie in North alabama

I bought this to be used solely as a grass sheer; don’t have any hedges. As I live in FL, grass grows by the minute, it seems! And my landscaper does a horrible job of edging (he now only cuts grass, weed wacks in spots. I do everything else). I’m also older, and didn't want to have to be bending over all the time, “cleaning up” my edges. I’m very fussy with how my garden spaces look. This device is terrific. I have been using it extensively through the last two days. Holds a charge well. Does a nice job of edging. I love that the sheer is adjustable to different angels. You can sheer along the edge, and then along the top of the edge or clean up spaces the lawn mower can’t get into. I have extensive landscaping, and this is like gold. Unlike when the landscapers edge and the grass goes all over into my nicely mulched garden (which I have just spent months mulching!), the grass simply falls at the edge and I can just blow or sweep it out. The tool is light, but the sheer has a little weight to it. So you need to spend a little time using it to get the “steering”/sheering just right (it has wheels on it). I really like that it is quiet. The only negative is that the power button at the top of the pole is tough to be constantly holding in while you are working, partially beause of the awkwardness with the weight being all at the bottom of the pole (the sheer). For me, since I have some arthritis in my hands, it causes fatigue in my thumb after a short time.
