I cut a 2" hole in my composite IKEA patio table and used this to protect the table and give it a "finished" look. You would never know the table didn't come with an umbrella hole. My table top is exactly 0.5" thick. It's perfect and now I can use my patio umbrella! It has a standard 1.5" pole and fits perfectly.

Exactly what I need for my wood table to make the hole a bit smaller to hold my umbrella more securely.

After some confusion about the many rings offered on Amazon, I chose this one. My patio table has a 2 1/4" hole for the umbrella and many of the rings were listed for a 2" hole. This ring replaces the original ring which had broken. I just dabbed some dish soap on the threads and carefully screwed it together. The old ring was the "push in" type and broke after only a couple of years. I like this one much better due to its sturdier construction and the bottom piece which I believe will ensure many years of use.

This worked perfectly with my Crosley Sedona 48" patio table and a standard 1.5" diameter umbrella pole. It was a snug fit in the table, maybe a bit pricey given the quality of the molding/threading, but the assembled product looks just right with the table and umbrella. Now it looks finished, where it didn't before. And I like the fact that the pieces lock in place so that the ring/pole collar won't be popping out any time soon. This was a good purchase.

This hole grommet is the best I've used. The others, which simply snap into the hole, usually break off a tab and then they're no longer holding the pole stable and away from the glass tabletop. This one comes in two pieces that screw together, one piece that sits on the table top (with a bevel on the underside that self-centers it in the hole) and the other piece underneath, which screws onto the upper piece. Tightened firmly, it makes a solid connection that minimizes the "wiggle" on our 1-1/2" umbrella. Very nice idea, simple but effective. I'm glad I found it.

The original plastic umbrella hole ring broke in our patio set, and this was a perfect replacement. I liked that it was offered in brown, which matches our patio table. Seems pretty rugged, lets see what the southern sun does to it over the next couple of years...

Perfect! I have a black cast aluminum table that came without any center cap for the umbrella option. Being that the table is in a covered patio area, I didn't need the umbrella function and wished the table had a center cover. I looked all over and finally came across this product. I did measure and measured again to make sure it would fit. I am very pleased, as it looks like it came with the table. I also like that it has the ring to screw on and secure it from underneath the table. It helps stabilize an umbrella if you do use one and caps the area off if you don't use an umbrella. All good selling points and nice options.

This one actually fit my 2in diameter hole in my table. I purchased a few before this one and had to send them back due to incorrect sizes. The ring does sit a 1/4 above the hole which is annoying but for the price I'll deal with it. See pictures!

This was the only hole cover I could find that was clear and also fit nicely on a glass table hole that measured 2 1/4''

They worked great for what I needed. Ordered 2 for picnic tables I wanted to place hula umbrellas in. The brown-ish color worked well with the cream colored patio table. I drilled a 2-1/2" hole in the center and applied clear caulk between the table and hole plug. Tightened and done! Standard 1-3/4" pole slipped in easily. Happy with purchase and product.
