Great for the Finnex fixtures. Looks better in person than it looks in pictures.

5 stars because it does what the description says
Does it do what it says? With some jerry-rigging, yes. Would I buy it again? No. It doesn't quite fit over the rim of my tank even though some users say it will. It technically fits over the rim but you can't put the screws in to tighten it onto your tank. Pictures are of a 20 gallon long tank with 18" long marineland advanced led strip light.

Great light stands for the price!
I currently have a Finnex Fugeray on my Mr. Aqua 7g planted tank and this light stand fits perfectly on both the light and the tank. The stands are fully adjustable height and lengthwise for the lighting to your liking. The plastic base for the stands are so much better than my stock Finnex Fugeray stands and they're surprisingly much more secure than I had thought. Based off the pictures, I thought the metal stands weren't going to be able to support my 24" light but it's a lot stiffer than I assumed it was going to be. Adjustments to the stands are as easy as loosening and tightening a few screws on the base and that's it! For some buyers, just make sure the metal rods will be able to fit into your current light. Also, be aware of the length and width of the base because it was not stated in the description. The plastic base is actually 2.25" length, 1.75" width, and 1.75" in height. Lights that are wider than 3 inches may not fit properly and might require bending of the metal rods. Otherwise, the stands are working as it should and fits perfectly with my current setup.

Works on my finnex light!

Cheap and elegant solution to raise lights.
Sure beats the homemade pvc stand I had been using. My tank has the black plastic rim on top which I had to trim in order to fit this; but I knew that before hand.

the product is great. Has a set screw on each leg
Double check the size of your light! I didn't even think to look at the hole spacing for my LED aquarium light, so upon receipt I had to modify the stands to make it work with my light. See attached photos. Other than the 5 minutes with a pair of pliers, the product is great. Has a set screw on each leg, as well as two clear plastic screws in the feet itself (part that sits on aquarium) to help keep it from shifting. Due to my modification, these screws to help secure to the aquarium were critical, as I reduced the footing width so it will naturally be more top heavy now. I even set my back legs a bit higher to angle the light toward the back of my 10 gallon tank. Nice having that option. Really a great product, just make sure it works for your light or are willing to modify some!

Super easy. Problem solved!
A real inexpensive way to get the height and angle of your LED light strip. I give it an A plus!
