These knives are very lite and easy to use sturdy and take a bashing. I got these for the kitchen assistants at work to use they are not pro knives but good enough for every day use and have stayed nice and sharp for several week so far with lots and lots of use. Would recommend. Box looks a little cheap but that’s not what your paying for.

These knives are an incredible value at $17. They are easy to use and ridiculously sharp. BE CAREFUL! After a few months with them, I was not being careful anymore and was hurriedly washing the 4-inch knife and it slipped into my second knuckle on my index finger. It instantly cut though all layers and I didn't even feel it. That being said, their sharpness makes them a joy to work with and I still love them because of it. You can cut ripe cherry tomatoes without smashing them, cut ribbon strips of just about anything without tearing - they are wonderful and reduce prep time. Just make sure you are using safe cutting techniques and wash with the care they deserve. I do also run mine through the dishwasher and they have held up fine. I have retired many of our old metal knives as we are downsizing stuff in the kitchen to what we ACTUALLY use. I like that they come with simple sheaths and do not require a big block to hold them. Since these are only a set of (3) - 4, 5, and 6 inch - I thought I would miss having a big knife for lettuce etc...not really! I found that the knives work best for me if I use the smallest one I can (same force exerted over a smaller blade length = more cutting power per inch on a smaller blade compared to a large one, at least that's my theory). I use the 4 and 5 inch the most and the 6 inch cuts up the bigger stuff for me easily. I recommend these 100% without any reservation!

My wife likes the sharpness of ceramic knives. This set offers the three sizes she uses most. They fit into our wooden block perfectly. I would recommend these knives. They really are Wacool as the name implies!

I waited almost two months after purchase to write a review for these knives, so I could speak knowledgeably about them. My wife and I recently started cooking at home a lot more, which means that we have been using one or two of these knives almost every night for almost eight weeks now. They're much sharper than any of the stainless steel knives that we already had, and are an absolute joy to cut and chop with. I haven't found anything in the kitchen that they don't cut easily and cleanly. After almost two months of steady use, they still seem just as sharp as the day they arrived in the mail. When they do inevitably dull (all knives dull over time, just some do it more slowly than others), there are lots of convenient ways to sharpen them. Just Google 'how to sharpen a ceramic knife'. This is our first set of ceramic knives so I was worried about how delicate they would be, but we haven't had one break or even chip yet. The only problem that we had over these almost two months was that the blade of one of the knives got loose and started wobbling up in its handle. I think this was because not enough, or maybe bad, adhesive was used to glue the two pieces together. When I contacted WACOOL about this issue, they immediately apologized and replaced the entire set at not charge. Not only are these good-quality ceramic knives for a good price, but WACOOL's customer service was excellent. What more could I reasonably ask for?

I've had these for about a week now and have been very impressed so far. The sharpness of these knives is like nothing else in the kitchen. Most of my use so far has been on vegetables and fruit with a little bit of meat as well. They do great with all of them. As long as I keep in mind that they are not steel knives and treat them accordingly, I'm sure they will last a very long time. The handles do look a little on the inexpensive side, but are very comfortable. Overall, great buy.

These knives have a good feel and are pretty sharp. Be careful because you can easily cut yourself. I've had other ceramic knives made by another manufacturer that the handles broke, not the blade, the handle. I'm hoping these hold up better. So far I'm very happy.

These knives are awesome! I had never heard of a ceramic knife until I visited my stepson recently. He had some, so after I tried them, I had to have some too. Supposedly you never (or rarely) have to sharpen them. Since I've only had and used mine for a week or so, I can't address how they'll do in the long run, but out of the box they are very sharp. Time to throw away some of my dull metal knives.

Really like this set of knives. Visually striking, with their colourful handles, and white blades, they look unusual, and pretty cool. They are comfortable to use, good grip, and feel sharp and strong. Each of the knives has a little blade cover as well, though I can see us binning them - they're fine, but just a bit of extra unnecessary clutter. All in all, highly recommended.

Wonderful product! Very gentle and sharp. Poor reviews show that people do not read instructions how to use these knives.

These are not the first ceramic knives I have owned. I chose these because of their similarity to the previous set to compliment the two still left. I had forgotten how sharp the "New knives" are. I normally "roll" my fingers and thumb to avoid injury, even so, the first time I used the medium knife I cut the very tip of my thumb but did not realize until I noticed the blood on the potato. GREAT BUY AND THE KNIVES ARE AS ADVERTISED. CAUTION: They are extremely sharp.
