Easy to use, easy to clean, I'm going to have to get another.

What a great product. I have two teenage daughters, one likes sushi, the other is a notoriously picky eater. I thought making sushi at home could mean fun in the kitchen together, playing with our food building our own sushi rolls with ingredients we like. I scoured Amazon for sushi making products and there are kits that look very similar to this one but cost a lot less. Closer inspection of pictures and results show that saving a few bucks absolutely will not yield the stellar results you will achieve with the AYA set. The plastic is sturdy and strong so you can tightly compress your rolls. It's easy to use, clean up is a snap and it comes with a carrying pouch for the pieces. I tried to put it all back into the box, but that was impossible. I felt like I was failing at a CIA IQ test for reassembling. I can easily see that I may have to get another set so that we can be making multiple rolls at the same time. Plus when I have guests, we can have a build-your-own-sushi party. I will try to post some pictures so you can see the kind of product you will turn out when using this. This is way better than wrapping a rolling matt with plastic and fussing so much. This takes the labor, stress and cursing out of the process of sushi-making.

Great kit, great value

Been trying to make sushi at home for a while and this kit really does the job. After reading some of the reviews, it seemed like it came with good instructional videos...and it does! Definitely helps a lot, because this kit is fun but it's NOT a toy. It's amazing once you get the hang of it though. Really enjoy making sushi with my kids (watch for the knife though...it's a professional sushi knife and it's very sharp!!). If you are trying to save a little money, like DIY stuff and love sushi, this is for you!

Its all affordable and easy to keep into your place called home. The kit is a durable design with accessories made to take hits and bangs on kitchen counters. Its recommendable for making sushi fast and efficiently. I used this product for a birthday party a few times and every time it made excellent shape sushi bites.

I read in one of the top ten sushi making review articles that this kit was great but no instruction. The instruction is with the product and is so wonderfully simple to understand. Love it all around. Amazing quality too!

Perfect sushi maker!!!

I am in love!! My daughter and I love using this. It's a fun dinner night that can involve kids and getting to eat sushi. My daughter is not a fan of fish or nori but the beauty of making your own sushi is getting to pick your ingredients. I got some soy wrappers for her that are pretty good. We make rainbow heart sushi. Only have had this less than a month and we have used it 10 times.

Very kit makes it easy AND fun to make Sushi!

This kit made it so easy to make Sushi and even though the prepping of the ingredients take a little time to do this kit helps you save time with all that is included to work with. The knife is super sharp and I appreciate that to get a good clean cut for serving the sushi. I like the different shaped options you have with this kit as well. I also love the different spatulas it comes with as well. I love this...no complaints at all!!

We love sushi! We love this set!

This set is a lot of fun and very forgiving to a few novices. My son wanted sushi for his birthday and we thought it would be more fun to attempt it ourselves. It made some neat shapes which we didn't realize at purchase. There are lots of videos online that are incredibly helpful. The first few attempts were delicious mishaps, but we eventually got the hang of it. It helps to get the roll fairly full to get the full shape effect. So glad we went with this one! Lots of fun!

Highly recommend you spend 15 min watching the video

Ordered this for my foodie 10 year old. We had a blast making very professional looking sushi. Dad was on call and got called out before we finished eating. He came home st 1am and I found him eating more sushi rolls we put up. This was a hit. Cannot wait to make more. Highly recommend you spend 15 min watching the video.

Essential for sushi lovers

The knife alone is worth the price! This kit is a fun way to make sushi and other similar foods. I even used it with a flour tortilla, rice, cheese and avocado. I sprayed it with Pam before putting it together. You can make your sushi in the usual round shape or make it in a triangle or a heart. Be sure to watch the video on youtube for instructions. It's easy!

The tutorial videos are so helpful. Fun to use at home or as a gift!

This product is such a great way to make sushi making at home accessible. I'm a visual learner, so the tutorial videos from users are practical and make using this kit so much easier. I'm not sure I would have been able to make the sushi as well without the videos. I'm impressed that the kit even comes with a a professional knife perfect for cutting the rolls into the proper sizes. I always assumed I'd have to go out to have sushi, but I can't wait to host my own sushi night at my house with the help of this kit!
