Handsome and quality!

My husband looks great in these. He's about 180 lbs, I'd guess, and 5'9" and just...yes. It is a handsome, rugged look, I think; a quality fabric and fit. I first got one and then got more in all their great earth colors, in size large. He does fit in the medium (I got 1 medium by accident) and it does look good, but I like the more comfortable-looking, but not oversized fit of the large. What I mean is sometimes you'll get a large somewhere and it seems like they added so much more that it appears baggy, but on him with this shirt this isn't the case; it isn't a big jump in fit, but it also allows for that little extra room if needed. He is on the cusp of med/large, it seems. His pants are generally a 32-33, if that helps (depending on the season). I just think it's a perfect fit for him and I love him in these.

Good, basic henley. Runs big.

The shirt does run big. I would say the medium I ordered is more akin to a large. The materials seem to be pretty solid and thick and the craftsmanship is quality. I could see this shirt lasting a few years. After a couple washes, the color (I have the black, or "caviar") seems to hold really well. The buttons are solid and seem to be sewn on really well. Good shirt. If I was looking for a second henly of a different color, I would order this one again.

Order a size down!

I'm ALWAYS a medium in every type of shirt but this was the only exception. I took a risk and ordered small and it just right! Had I ordered my usual medium it would probably still fit but would look very trashy. Order a size down and it will be for fitting. Material is nice and thick but not too much. Just right for fall and windy days.

Versatile

I have purchased 5 different brands of waffle shirts this winter. This one is by far the best. It is soft, comfortable and holds it shape well. Some really shrink and are only good for under shirts. Others tend to be very stiff and make terrible undershirts. This can be warn either as and undershirt or outer shirt.

"Tall" is realtive

It isn't just legs that make up our stature and it can be a bugger to find shirts that fit if you don't fit the idea that tall is all about how long your legs are! Long bodies need clothes that fit long bodies!! My husband and son....both.... have a 32 in inseam....so you'd think "short guy", right? Nope......husband is a little over 6', son is 5'9"...they have LONG bodies and both are barrel chested and wide shouldered...and some dunlap going on. Both are husky fellas......husband is about 255lbs, son is right at 245 lbs. …..they are --brick wall-- kinda guys in body size. Wrangler XLT shirts and jackets ALWAYS have a nice clean, fit for both guys, this shirt was no exception! The shirt fits across chest and shoulders without being too snug and the extra tail length means shirts stay tucked in or untucked the shirt ( and jackets) stay on their hips instead of riding up when they raise their arms. The sleeves are a bit long BUT not sloppy long. On a shirt like this they roll-cuff the sleeve and it drapes nice at the wrist and stays above their hand. They both agree this is a very minor aggravation when factoring in they have shirts they STAY DOWN or TUCKED IN!

Light, soft and and good value!

Arrived in about two weeks when I created my order and the item was out of stock, which is pretty darn good. The fabric is light but seems sturdy. Its soft and roomie. I am 2XL more in the shoulders than belly and this shirt fits well across the back and does cover my pooch well. It seems these days 2XL is not much more than an XL and I will not wear shirts that are tight across the back and this one is perfect. I wish I could wear those new styles of Henley that fit skin-tight for guys with six-pack abs, but those days past 30 years ago.

Really Comfortable

I'm not a fan of long-sleeve shirts, always thinking they would be too warm for me. But it does get chilly in the office and I needed something 'more' than my usual shirts but 'less' than a sweater or jacket. Because of the waffle fabric pattern, which I found attractive, I picked the Wrangler over the cheaper options (my sole nod to style). As soon as I opened the bag and handled the shirt... wow. Soft, soft, soft. I selected the Large but in real life these seem to be 'more' than a Large, but 'less' than Extra-Large, if that makes any sense. In any case, I prefer roomier over tighter, so this is a Win. I had initially bought the blue and sand colors but as soon as I wore one, I went back to order the green and red. Highly recommended.

Stylish and Inexpensive

I'm in construction and I wear Henley shirts all winter. A great shirt at a great price. I will definitely buy one or two more. A nice look and a nice feel to it. Much nicer than other work shirts I've purchased in the past, from a popular "Trading" company. Less than half the price as well.

Lightweight, compact, warm

I was looking for a compact (packs small) shirt to wear on peaks where it tends to be 10-20 degrees cooler than when you started. Overall, this shirt fit the bill perfectly. It's lightweight. Packs extremely small. And is warm enough on the peak but not overly hot. Definitely a good shirt for a cool day that isn't too warm and isn't too cold.

He loves it!

My husband loves this shirt. Its warm and cozy and very well made. Great, simple design. He's worn it a couple of times now and its holding up so far. He's very happy with it and has requested a couple more with different colors. He has very broad shoulders and a big, thick, muscular build, he likes his shirts roomy and not to tight or constricting. We bought an XL and it fit him perfectly. It was shipped promptly and overall we are very pleased.
