Sturdy and good quality water bottle for toddlers
After using so many different brands of water bottles, this seems to be the winner for our household. My kid was a biter so a few of the other brands she chewed teeth marks into the plastic spouts deeming unsafe to use. This one is silicone and soft so it's not as easy to damage with those sharp little teeth. It's a little more work to take everything apart and wash. Just saw there's a special brush you can purchase to clean the inside. The exterior of the bottle itself will eventually scratch with drops and toddler abuse but it's still quite sturdy and good quality. My almost 1 year old just started sipping from this too and found it easier than actual sippy cups because she didn't have to lift the bottle up.

The only bottle we buy
Camelbak are the only bottles we buy for ourselves and I love that they make them for kids. We started with our now 5 years old son, who loved how easy it was to drink from as a tiny toddler and the fact that they are durable and don't spill was a def plus for us. He's probably gone through 7 already, as the pictures wear out and the snap wears out, but that's to be expected with this much wear and tear. Now we've ordered one for our 1-year-old daughter. We are def customers for life, especially due to Camelbak's lifetime warranty, which I have used twice for our adult bottles. Never an issue, super easy replacement. Just order replacement valves as they get pretty gross, even with regular washing and bottle brush cleaners to get into the little nipple and straw. We use the bottle brush for our baby bottles, works great. Highly recommend for all ages.

Excellent cup if used correctly
I have nine of these cups because they are literally the only kind of cup my child will drink out of, after graduating from the Munchkin 360. My kid is on the spectrum, so he pretty much wants to use the same kind of thing all the time. He enjoys chewing on things, so I make sure that I check the valves regularly and have replacement ones ready. I knew this would be an issue, so I don't really consider it to be a con. I run the straws, as well as the rest of the cup, through the dishwasher. Occasionally I have to use a little brush on the straws, but they pretty much stay clean. My experience with the valve being pushed in is that if you properly pull it through, that doesn't happen. It's easy to accidentally leave it a little loose, and I think that might be what's happening for the folks that say that their children push it through. I can't push it through with my own fingers when it's properly locked in place; I have to pull it out from the other side when it's open.

Easy to clean
I have gone through several cups to move from bottles to big girl cups with my daughter. This is great because she can drink from it and when you turn it upside down it doesn't spill. I will say the only issue we sometimes encounter is when she is drinking and there is water in the clean plastic valve it will build up pressure and slowly leak down the side. I pinch to relieve the pressure at the top and it stops leaking. It is easy to clean and they have been dropped many times and they still work. In the past I bought the insulated one and it doesn't seem to make a difference so I stopped and purchased several of the regular camel baks for my 20 month old.

Great WATER bottle - not for milk/juice
Got this for my daughter's first birthday. Came exactly as pictured. We have another Camelbak for my son that has lasted several years and will probably last several more. We've had to replace the silicone mouthpiece/straw on his a few times, but haven't had any leaking problems with this Camelbak when the silicone mouthpiece was in good condition. This *is* a WATER bottle, and not intended for milk and juice. If you use it for anything other than water you probably will have mold issues, but used as intended we haven't had that problem. So if you want something for milk and juice you need to look elsewhere. Don't buy this product and then complain it didn't work well for something it was never intended to do.

PERFECT SIPPY!!! I need all the colors and patterns!
This is another brand that I do not mind spending a little more on due to the quality. There are so many reviews claiming that these bottles are a "health hazzard" Seriously, just clean your children's cups (regardless of the brand) with warm soapy water, give the crevices a little scrub every so often and you'll be just fine. I love that they have so many options in colors and patterns to choose from. My daughter gets so excited with each new cup she gets. (which is quite a few, since you can NEVER have enough sippie cups, right?

Best bottle for kids. Better than Contigo
My son is 20 months and have used CamelBak for 3 months. We've tried numerous amount of straw cups, and this is best of all! First, it is completely spill free. My son loved to turn the bottle around, shake it and hit it on tables. Other brands such as Zoli, Muchkin, first year lollacup and etc, would more or less spill. CamelBak doesn't have such problem, no matter how fiercely the kid use it. Second, kids tend to drink much more water with this bottle. I myself switched to CamelBak Eddy(750ml) a few weeks ago as well, and was amazed how much more water I drunk everyday. Maybe because we need to actually bite the valve when drinking and that feeling encourages us to drink more. Third, the bit valve and straw are removable and replaceable. Unlike Contigo bottles, you can remove all parts of the cap(valve, straw) so that it gets cleaned more thoroughly. I noticed some reviews mentioned mold, it didn't happen to me at all. I bought 2 replacement valve, wash it, let dry and replace every week. No mold or odor. And btw, the bottle is durable and would last a long time.

I seriously love these sippy cups
I seriously love these sippy cups! I see reviews for how moldy they get. Mine do too but I purchased dr. Browns bottle brushes. They are very slim so they fit in the spouts and the straw. Plus I learned if I wash their cups daily and use the little brush on the straws and spouts they never mold... ever! The spouts split... ok. So does every other rubber spout my kids have had. It's because they use their teeth. They seriously still work great! I have been using them for two years now. I always want to get more but I guess 14 (5 have gone missing through daycare and travel) is way more than enough! Seriously. Just wash them with the tiny brush and all works great. All photos I have included are of bottles I have had for 1-2 years. Same with the spouts. They are all just as old and still super clean!

Great water bottle for kids!
We love these water bottles! Our kids are all in school now, so I needed two new ones for our twins who just entered pre-k. My oldest has one, has used and abused it for 4 years now, and it's still in great shape! In school, the kids are allowed to carry a water bottle around with them wherever they go, but it needs to be spill proof and/or have a lid/cap. These serve the purpose very well. The lid is easy enough to remove and the bottle has a wide enough opening that kids can easily refill at the water fountain, and drinking from the bottle is easy while also being clean. The handle on the lid also allows for the kids to attach the bottle to their peron or backpack for easy carrying. Also, a huge plus is that replacement parts are easy to come by, though our oldest of these bottles is still thriving on its original parts!

Awesome for toddlers.
I love this bottle! The first one I purchased was a complete lemon. It would leak leak LEAK! the valve and straw were defective. I contacted amazon and they sent me a replacement. This one is AWESOME! We have had it almost a year now. My daughter loves drinking from it. We just bought a replacement valve because my daughter loves to stick her tiny fingers into the valve opening and after months of doing that, it tore open. But that has to do with her, not the actually bottle. I would highly recommend this for kids. Very durable bottle.
