Excellent monitoring and communicating device for elderly parent!

I am very happy with this purchase. It took a bit of effort to get the 2-way audio to work properly, but now, not only can I see my mother in her assisted living facility, but I can talk to her and she can talk to me. The video is stored on a SD card and I can review anything in the past. Emailing the Zebora support helped figure out the audio as it is not documented. If you wish to utilize the 2-way audio: 1. Connect “amped” or “powered” speakers to the audio jack on the back of the camera. 2. From the mobile app during live preview, click both the speaker and mic icons to activate them. After clicking the mic icon, another mic icon will appear on the live screen. Press and hold this while speaking. A blue halo will appear around the mic icon to let you know it is active.

works great for me as a baby monitor!

I purchased this camera to use as a baby monitor to be able to view through app on my phone while outside. It works very well for my intended purpose. I will warn of the large amount of data it used while I was learning how it worked best for me. Instead of having app on the whole time I am outside, I check in every 5-10 minutes and works well because even if room is dark, I can still see and use the speaker to hear as well! I had an issue when we changed our internet router and the help number available through app and listed online was super helpful and getting me back up and going again!

I just posted a negative review on this camera by mistake. I originally sent back the D-link camera, not this one. I LOVE THIS CAMERA. I would not have realized that I had made this mistake until the Zebora people put such a kind note in the review response talking about how to set the camera up. I use this camera every day and absolutely love it. There is even night vision. I have two poodles and I see them sleeping on my sofa when I am gone. It goes up and down and around the room with the app on my iPhone. I'm sorry, Zebora people. I had the wrong camera in mind. I sent back the D-link camera. I love your camera. IT WAS NOT HARD TO SET UP!

Excellent!

I intended to use this as a dog monitor while we're away from home and it works perfectly! It has an HD mode and you can easily turn the camera using the app and sliding your finger on the screen. We've caught our 4-legged troublemaker get in some mishaps thinking she wasn't being watched by her 'hoomans' and discovered she enjoys daily naps on the 'forbidden' couch. She also must be a health inspector since she has investigated our kitchen quite a few times with that powerful nose, and a raccoon in a past life with the trash can digging she did yesterday. Excellent product, I would buy it again.

Best baby monitor camera on the market

I am obsessed with this camera as a baby monitor! I have researched MANY cameras but all the reviews were horrible! After purchasing the best one on the market (JBL Harman Monitor $250) this camera blows it out of the water and is a third of the price! My favorite feature is that the audio is so clear and picks up even the faintest of sounds (with only a few seconds of delay) and it runs in the background when the screen is off or I'm using other features on my phone like apps or texting, and it's highly reliable and I don't have to worry if the wifi has cut out in the middle of the night! Nothing worse than waking up realizing your newborn has been screaming and you have no idea how long they've been screaming for! The HD mode is also extremely clear in both the color mode during the day as well as the night vision, and the pan/tilt and zoom features work great too. I use both my current cell phone and old Android phone as the parent unit just in case I don't want to run my battery down on my phone, but it doesn't seem to run it down too fast. My husband also has the app on his iPad and it works just as good as on my Android. I also like having my old phone or iPad as the parent unit so my babysitter has a monitor because my phone is with me at all times. It is so nice having access to view my child anytime and anywhere using my phone data even if wifi isn't available. There is no static and the camera turns on so fast without any loud sounds waking up the baby unlike other cameras. I haven't had to use it yet, but I love having the intercom option to talk to my child if need be. It is also extremely easy to set up and it's very important to have the option to set up multiple cameras and have easy access to all of them using the same app so I can use them with multiple children. You will not be disappointed in this camera!

Excellent camera. I bought a total of 4 of the older yellow ZS03 model and now have an additional 2 of the ZS01C on black. Easy to set up. Great night vision and other features. The only down side (to me, but not worth knocking stars off for) is the rigid antenna on the newer models as opposed to the swivel - type on the ZS03. It only makes a difference if you're at the edge of your wifi range like one of my Cameras and you need to fine tune the direction of the antenna separate from the mounting angle. But I love the fact that you can mount them sideways or upside down to maximize pan / swing angle and use the software to compensate /flip things right size up, etc. FYI for those who need to extend the length of the power adapter (like for ceiling mounting the cameras like I do,) the power adapter plug is the smaller 1.3mm x 3.5mm size plug NOT the larger 2.1mm x 5.5mm used by some. This camera WORKS and you can view it from your iphone. You don't need special port forwarding or any techy junk like the foscam. This one is pretty much plug n play and you can get a mini sd card too (not included) I have 2 and will be getting another one. I am super happy with it.

It arrived today. Setup was very easy! I'm ordering 2 more soon. I truly have a peace of mind. I love that I can see my home while I'm at work. Daytime is crisp, night view is too! My home was broken in, now I can see if it ever happens again!

Great device & great customer service

This camera really is amazing! We use it as a baby cam and it is so nice because it helps me know if baby has something wrong when she starts crying, or if she just needs to fuss it out for a few minutes. It gives me the confidence to let her try to put herself back to sleep before I go rushing in there! It has seriously made a huge difference for us in parenting! The picture quality is great and the zoom is so convenient! We have the black one which I love because it blends in with her nursery furniture. When camera is on night mode, it has these dull red lights that are lit up but it doesn’t light up the room by any means. We are going to try mounting ours soon. We lost our mounting equipment and I contacted customer service and they are sending a new one right away! They were very helpful over email and I appreciate that so much because I hate making phone calls! Haha
