Absolutely gets the job done

After recently getting a new TV and surround sound system for proper 4K gaming, I ran into a space issue. With an extra long center sound bar and no easy way to wall mount it, I had less space for my consoles. As of now, on the top of my furniture unit, I have the center sound bar, cable box, Xbox One S, PlayStation 4 Pro (PS4 Pro), and Nintendo Switch. The Switch in its dock fits neatly behind the sound bar, while the oversized cable box sits in its only available orientation, horizontal. That left me to stack my Xbox One S on top of my PS4 Pro. Unfortunately, doing this type of stacking seemed to cause the PS4 Pro to overheat; the center top of its case appears to be a heat transfer point. With the Xbox One S on top, there was no way for this heat to naturally dissipate and/or stay under control. The solution was to place both of those consoles in a vertical position. The DOUBI Vertical Stand for Xbox One S is a simple stand that clicks into place on the bottom of the console. While indeed simple, it's effective, and it has a reasonable low price to match. It's hard to muster much enthusiasm for products that are so simple, but it would be disingenuous to ignore the fact that they solve a very real problem without breaking the bank. You can pay a lot more for other vertical stands that are frankly over-engineered.

First, previous reviews (available below) claim the Xbox One S simply sits on the stand, and that it can be knocked over at any time. This is false, as the Xbox One S will snap in to the stand, so long as you are putting it on correctly: Disk drive to the top, and the USB drive on the front of the xbox to the left. Second, very high quality materials, and build. Sturdy, and quite good looking. Will buy the PS4 version as well.

You do actually need this to balance your Xbox One S when it is placed vertically. This is a piece of plastic that is identical to the one sold by Microsoft, but at half the price! Great product.

Great purchase, highly reccomend!

Such a great item for such a low price! Bought for my husbands xbox one s and it holds it snugly and sturdily. Never wobbles and doesnt fall over and we have cats that are constantly bumping into things! The sleek black design looks perfect with the white console too so extra points for style! Would highly reccomend to all! You wont regret it.

High quality

Simply put, the quality is very nice for the stand. I had reservations thinking it would be some sort of 3d printing and flimsy but it is not. Finish is nice and fits the slots on the S like a glove. I have not seen the officially licensed Microsoft stand, but I suspect there is not difference in build quality. If there is, it is more than likely negligible.

I bought this and I didn't really think the quality will be the same as the original one from Microsoft. I was shocked how it fits perfectly and made with great quality.

Affordable. Minimalistic. Perfect.

The stand really comes in handy for the simple fact that it can change the way a Gaming Setup looks with ease. I love how simple it is and how it doesn't have any other worthless features. I find stands with chargers to be too bulky for my liking. It's also really cheap compared to Microsoft's licensed stand so what's the point in buying that one when this one is just everything you need from it and more. It's Affordable. It's Minimalistic. It's Perfect.

No reason to go with the official MS one

Seems to be exactly the same design as the official MS one for cheaper price. Snaps in and stays put, exactly as expected. Glad I got it.
