Sturdy yet lightweight. I LOVE the separate compartment with a zipper. The bag is strong but not stiff. I also like the way it looks like a nondescript, generic backpack, no designer label or fancy logos. It doesn't yell out "camera bag". My daughter bought one that costs four times as much and it's not any better. This is a great choice if you want a good strong camera bag or backpack with plenty of room with lots of ease.

Very comfortable and functional, exactly what I am looking for.Perfect size to hold my laptop, kindle ebook ,my SLR camera and lenses.Awesome bottom design which can carry my tripod when biking.

This is, so far, one of the absolute best backpacks I've ever bought. I bought it for a 22-day trip to Europe, and specifically because of the added padded camera bag. The fact that this bag is compartmentalized, it allows you to put away and take out your camera relatively easily. I used the padded bag mostly when I had to change cities (traveling by plane or train), when I knew I was not going to need the camera; otherwise, I did not bring the padded bag with me while sightseeing and just used the bottom of the backpack like that. The top part of the bag is pretty spacious. You can even fit a jacket in there. This backpack has a laptop pocket, which is padded as well. It also has pockets on the sides for regular sized water bottles. At the bottom, it has another space in which a backpack rain cover is inserted. It comes with straps that you can use for a tripod. They even thought of that! This bag is very sturdy and well made. I absolutely recommend it.

I love this bag and would buy another one any day! People don't notice this is a camera bag. It is inconspicuous and blends in as a regular backpack (which is great in it not being a target for theft). The bottom unzips and has a separate bag encased inside that can hold my Nikon with a lens on, and my two lenses (55-300 fits easily). There are pockets for memory cards and some additional pockets in the upper cavity. There is a "slip" for a tablet, notebook, papers, or a small laptop in the back. There is a spot for a tripod to be lashed onto the bottom. What I really love is the raincover that came with it. My only qualm is my large waterbottle doesn't fit... I like to take my camera everywhere I go and this is low profile, which is a must. I can include any other things I might need. I took this with me as my carryon when I went to Scotland so I could keep my camera body and lenses with me at all time. It was also perfect for urban photography as it would be quite hard to gain access to the camera port. I take this bag with me everyday so I can always keep my camera close. I would LOVE LOVE LOVE one slightly larger!

I bought this for my girlfriend whos wanted to bring something on our trip to Puerto rico, but didn't want the bag that is made for her cameras (NIKON D3000 & NIKON 1 J3) Were going to use this as our carry on for all of our things; Nintendo switch Nikon D3000 Nikon 1 J3 chargers an excessive amount of camera batteries selfie stick tripod & large tablet. all fits + more & I got the SMALL size. it is a pretty cool bag.

While this backpack wound up not being exactly what I needed for my particular camera/activity setup, it's a cute item. Everything was padded nicely, and the appearance is very discreet as far as hauling around thousands of dollars worth of equipment goes. I was very pleased. My only minor complaint would be that the removable camera bag portion fits quite snugly into the bottom zippered pouch - which is great for protection, but is a little cumbersome to get back in if removed fully.

I actually bought this as a "personal item" for flying. It was exactly what I was looking for in a personal item. It has two separate compartments, so I can keep stuff I'm not using during my flight (jewelry, camera, or whatever) in the bottom compartment and snacks, etc in the top. Love it. Also has a place for my water bottle.

I ordered this at the last minute for my trip to Italy. I wanted something that looked casual and didn't scream 'expensive camera' or 'tourist.' The bottom of the bag has cushioning with adjustable dividers and zips open at the middle of the bag with room for a DSLR body and room on each side for a lens. The top zips open and has plenty of space for other things. I used this as my carryon. When I got to Italy our guide suggested we all carry our bags in front, 'like bambini,' to avoid the pickpockets. I used a luggage lock to lock the zippers together so no worries about theft. The blue-and-white band in the middle of the bag covers the zipper for the bottom part of the bag. I believe this bag comes in a large and small. I ordered a small. The only thing to make it better? A plastic cover in case of weather.

Bought this bag for our honeymoon to St. Thomas. I wanted a backpack that could hold my camera and accessories, as well as my wallet and other small items without drawing attention to the expensive equipment inside. This backpack was perfect for what I wanted. I used it as my “personal item” on our flight and while exploring on our trip. I was able to pack my camera stuff in the bottom and a ton of stuff in the top compartment (iPad, wallet, headphones, chargers, book, sunglasses, wet wipes). It has a couple negatives, but they weren’t deal breakers for me in the least. You have to flip the top half of the bag back to get the camera case out; you can’t do that with a laptop or iPad in the inside sleeve. The camera case is slightly difficult to get in and out of the bag. For these reasons the bag isn’t ideal for getting your camera in and out quickly, so if that is what you’re looking for I would find something different. Also, the side compartments are almost too small for a water bottle; I was able to cram an a half drank Aquafina bottle in there, but it was tight. You definitely couldn’t fit any reusable bottles in there. Otherwise, this is a great quality bag at a reasonable price. It held up well during our travels and the padding inside the camera bag made me feel my camera was safe from harm. If those few negatives above don’t matter to you, then I would highly recommend this bag.
