I ordered these to "steampunk" my halloween costume and couldn't be happier with the selection. The package came with a lot of different styles, sizes, and metal colors. They were exactly what I needed.

Big variety, just what I was after

I really like these gears, more of a variety than I expected (which for me is a good thing). In the set I got, smallest are 1/2 inch, the largest are 1 inch. They aren't thin or flimsy. They're a mixture of silver, gold, antiqued copper and antiqued grey/bronze. Some of the gear's teeth (of the same designs) fit together, some don't. I took a photo of all the gears I received so you can see which ones interlock. There would be more combinations of gears that fit together if I mixed them up. I am going to use them in some mixed media projects I have in mind. I also want to make a steampunk pew-pew gun. I made one several years ago and had a great time doing it, and now I want to make another...which I can't do it without a gear or two somewhere. These look perfect for that.

Bought for a steam punk craft day and they are great! There are a lot of pieces - all have a good weight to them and the various sizes and styles let everyone pick their favs for their crafts. Would recommend to anyone wanting to have some steam punk fun!

Perfect for smaller steampunk projects.

So many little gears!!! Not really larger than a 25 cent piece. They are metal which I did not expect Perfect size for my steampunk project. Great colors and many different styles. With the gears I don't use for my project, I will hand out the rest like tokens at the Halloween party.

Very nice I'm using them for an art project which still work perfectly for. really didn't need such a huge envelope for such a small Ziploc baggie of gears, but to each their own.

Great Set of Gears

I love this selection of gears. The variety and color range are awesome! Nice selection and several doubles for when you need a matching set. Awesome for Steampunk crafting!!

A fun collection of gears, exactly what I wanted.

Exactly what I wanted. I purchased these to use as a currently/marker token for a steampunk-themed board game. Then they are tossed around the table, you hear the metal 'clink', which adds something to the experience that is impossible with cardboard tokens. A fun, inexpensive add-on that improved the experience for an already fun game. In my set, I think I got gears in 12 different sizes. 4 or 5 of them had a several duplicates while most of them only had 2 or 3 of the same gear. I don't think I got any singles.
