Works well in my home office.

It warms my home office (small converted bedroom) extremely well. It's very quiet and effective. It runs in 'LO" mode at 70 or 75 degree settings and often cuts off for extended time periods after reaching the achieved temperature. The office is 12' x 10'. I'm still checking the electrical efficiency with one of the extended energy meters its plugged into. Highly recommended radiant heater.

Very impressed

Sitting with this product between the tv and my legs right now. enjoying the warmth in an otherwise chilly house. I feel I am saving a lot of money by only heating the area I am occupying. This seems like a quality product. I wheel it around easily.

glad to note no smell when it is running

The heater really exceeded my expection, beautifu, efficient, just what we are looking for, keep my entire apartment(around 1100 sq ft) warm, glad to note no smell when it is running. The remote and timer setting also nice. We absolutely love it!

virtually silent

I have Cadet wall heaters and didn't want the noise while sleeping. This works wonderfully and is virtually silent. The cord could be longer, but otherwise I am happy with it.

A pleasant surprise

This little guy surprised me. I have a finished 10x16 outbuilding which houses my art studio and a couple of small pets. It's well-insulated, so I was looking for a safe heat source which wouldn't cost too much to run. My husband purchased this Pelonis radiator as an early Christmas present, and it definitely fits the bill. The digital thermostat allows the user to choose between 65 to 85 degrees F, in 5 degree increments. It also has options of low, high, or economy settings. Hi uses 1500w, lo uses 900w, and economy switches back and forth in order to maintain temperature. If you need an option lower than 65 (for example, just to keep things from freezing), then you might look elsewhere, but you won't find many heaters which will operate at less than 900w. There's also a timer to either turn the heater on or to turn it off after running for a while. The timer is in 2 hour increments, so if you need more precise operation, then this may not be the heater for you. Also, I will say that the thermostat is slightly off, as it has kept my studio consistently between 68 and 70 degrees, despite being set on 65. I have learned to leave it on low unless the outside temperature is going to drop below freezing, at which time I turn the radiator to economy. Even when outside temps drop below 20 degrees, the radiator has maintained a minimum of 66 inside the studio. My little pets are happy and safe, and I don't have to worry about any combustible liquids in my art supplies, since there are no open flames. And with it staying mostly on low, heating my studio is costing far less than the AC did over the summer. I don't think it would work quite as well in a much larger room, or without insulation, but for my situation, it's perfect. It would be great to warm up a nursery safely, or to automatically make a bathroom or bedroom toasty for the morning rush.

This heater is fantastic. I use it to heat my daughter's nursery which is a sunroom with seven windows, so it gets pretty chilly in the winter. I have insulated black out curtains and this heater and the combination keeps it incredibly comfortable in there. It doesn't have to be on high or anything. It is very powerful and effective. I also feel safe leaving it on 65 on the eco setting throughout the day so we aren't losing heat in the rest of the house. I'll be back to add to this if my energy bill is outrageous, but so far so good.

The remote was a main feature I needed and secondly the heater was like 3 I had purchased 20 years ago. Those were safe, used very little electricity and were well priced too' but had no remote. I am now bedfast in a chilly room, and I can use this heater for a little bit and shut it off from my bed. Price was very reasonable.

Stay Warm and Save Money Too

Very efficient little radiator type heater. Lots of settings to fine tune your winter comfort. Well worth the amazingly low price, especially when I calculate the massive savings applied to the past winter's electric bill (about 35%—my house heat being old electric base heat). This heater more than paid for itself the first month of use.

Efficient and effective

I live in an old 1800s farm house in New England and the upstairs requires extra heating. I am quite impressed with this product with how well it radiates and its ability to keep a stable temp. when in use even with the extreme bitter northern cold. The eco setting is a must. Far superior than other previous similar products I have owned from DeLonghi (and a little more affordable too). I like that there are built in safety precautions like the tip-over safety switch. Over all, I am very satisfied with this purchase. I would definately buy it again. Highly recommended!
