Better than anticipated.
Admittedly, I had expected a slower and dated system. This system has exceeded my expectations in every detail. I believe the key to satisfaction to this system is to not unfairly compare this system to a a newer generation. This is a solid working system for multitasking but I would not expect this to be used as a gaming system, but a budget graphics card could play most games on decent settings.

Good machine for the money
Works GREAT and good value (the price I paid) for the CPU inside. Although I did replace the HD with an SSD I had laying around. Too small inside for me to use both the SSD and HD as I'd hoped... but it shouldn't be an issue in my case. If you plan to add an SSD, keep in mind you may not be able to get both the SDD and HD working at the same time, unless you pull the optical or something. Also keep in mind that you can't put the SSD on a PCI mount (as the slots are micro PCI and it won't fit).

Powerful computer, at a great price
Bought three for our businesses...for roughly under the cost of 1 new comparable machine. POSITIVE: They all started fine, run FAST, and so far are working perfectly. They have LOTS of USBs on the front and back, and as the specs show 16 GB of RAM and 2 TB hard drive. Big upgrade from the computers we're replacing. Thrilled with all of that. Negative: The keyboard and mouse that came with them were flimsy, but those are easy to replace if you don't have a quality keyboard and mouse on hand. Also, the specs say these computers come loaded with Windows 7 Pro, but actually came loaded with Win 10 Pro. They're down-gradable to Win 7 Pro, but we chose to use them with Win 10 Pro. No problem activating with the new Windows Key stickers on the cases. Only "extra" software on it was Libre Office (FREE opensource version of MS Office), which works fine. So far we're extremely pleased with these computers.

Great Value vs Brand New
The computer works great. It was a little used but that was to be expected. I had a minor problem with the CD/DVD drive but the seller corrected it immediately no questions asked. This desktop configuration is very good in terms of RAM, processor and hard drive size. It would have cost me three to four times as much if I had bought it new. The only minor complaint with configuration was that the WIFI was a USB not built it and there was no Bluetooth. When I asked the seller about the Bluetooth they sent me a USB one for free. If Bluetooth is not listed in your configuration then contact seller offline they may throw it in. Either way they are relatively cheap. The WIFI and USB took up two USB ports. I think there are 5 USB ports in the back and four in front so this was not a big deal. This is also a great way to effectively recycle these machines, by adding in some modern parts and putting on a new operating system.

Dell Optiplex 7010 Desktop. Fast and Furious
For the past decade I look for Dell Optiplex's for home network servers, daily surfing, specialty machines, whatever. These are business class, small footprint, fast, reliable, easy to work on, no glitz. This 7010 was a great find, max RAM (16gb), 2TB high speed (7200 rpm) hdd, graphics for Display Port (2), HDMI, plus standard VGA, DVD/RW, and Intel I5 quad core @ 3.4ghz. Short story: an excellent machine, great performance, great price. Hardware supports Windows 7-10. Case is Small Form Factor, SFF; still offers 4 expansion slots for PCI-e cards, advanced graphic adapter. Refurbished by S J Computers LLC, solid job, machine was immaculate inside and out, and ready to run out of the box. They included new kybd/mouse, power cord, and Windows recovery disc, Excellent shipping.

Good Value for the Money
The only caution: make SURE you read BOTH sides of the paper that comes with this computer saying "Read This First." It will save you a phone call to tech support. I read the front of the paper, but did not realize there was a back, so I had to call tech support. They were very helpful and had me up and running within minutes, but I could have done it myself if I had read the back of the paper.

Worth every penny.
I purchased this desktop about 3 months ago. I needed a computer to run adobe software (illustrator, photoshop etc) to work on my school assignments from home. I needed something affordable and did a lot of research and felt like this product fit my needs, the only negative is lack of wireless internet but you can purchase an internet usb device/modem for like $15 to enable you to connect wirelessly to the internet, just hook it up on the USB port and you’re good to go. So far everything works. There were some small signs of usage but it is in great condition.

Makes for a great dedicated security system
I researched far and wide for a low cost used computer that had a small footprint, sufficient CPU, memory and disk to be dedicated to operating our security cameras. I'll admit a certain amount of reservation when I order this machine but I am absolutely happy with the results. I currently have 4 HD cameras running at 1080p, using BlueIris software and the utilization on THIS machine is under 5% without the console which adds another 15% utilization when it's running. Doing simple math, this means I could add another 60 cameras, well past my home network capacity, before I run out of CPU capacity. I may encounter disk limitations somewhere along the way if I chose that many cameras (which I won't) but bottom line, this machine is exactly what I needed; it was exactly as described, down to the CPU identity which varied on this model from the mfg. I did add a 4TB external disk from my old system and this machine had the proper connections (USB3) allowing me to reduce demand on the internal system disk. to I am very happy with the refurb/reseller of this computer as they had upgraded the OS to Win10 Pro. Very happy customer here.

Dell Optiplex 7010
First, I suspect, since there are a number of 'Certified Refurbished' brokers offering these machines, that the add for these machines is rather generic and somewhat fluid. It may be worth taking the time before ordering to check with the specific vendor to verify system specs. The item I ordered was from Blair Technology Group. It is a Dell Optiplex 7010 in a desktop enclosure, not a small form factor machine - but that's OK for my purposes. It came with 16 GB of RAM, a 2 TB hard drive, and an Intel i5 - 3470 quad core CPU. Windows 10 was pre-installed on the hard drive. A USB connected keyboard and mouse were included in the shipment, they will gather dust in the closet. After opening the box I opened the unit to verify components, then zipped everything back up and plugged in an old 1280 x 1024 HP monitor via the VGA port. The machine came up on Win 10 quickly without any issues at all. After completing the personalization steps I checked various hardware components, in particular audio I/O. Everything worked. I shutdown the machine and then turned it back on, hit F12 to enter UEFI/BIOS mode and found the machine was set to 'Legacy' (BIOS mode) and non-secure boot. This configuration will work for most users - especially those that will bring up Win 10 for personal use and have no intention of doing any other major customization. I installed a GeForce GTX 710 card in the half height card slots (there are four in the desktop unlike the two in the SFF 7010). Connected both monitors, set the system to use UEFI and configured the boot devices to see an Ubuntu 16.04 LTS iso image on a USB drive. Installed Ubuntu 16.04 LTS on a spare 300 GB drive I had (pulling the 2 TB drive out of the machine - since it uses an MBR to boot it is kinda lost in the UEFI environment, it will be reused eventually). This thing runs cleanly on Ubuntu 16.04 with a handful of USB hard drives connected and the video card installed. The memory is the biggest bonus since I run a photo editing tool written in Javascript (big memory hog). All in all I'm pleased. Easy to use right out of the box - easy to customize.

Powerful computer, friendly price.
This is the first refurbished computer I've ever bought, and my particular seller was ReCharge PC. It's a Dell Optiplex 7010, small form factor with an i5-3470 Intel processor and 16gb of RAM. I've never really trusted refurbs, not being able to see/verify the work myself, but with the relative assurance of satisfaction provided by Amazon I decided that the price here was worth the gamble. This isn't a machine that I'm going to use for a lot of heavy lifting, so everything should be ample. The computer arrived well packaged, and included a wired keyboard & mouse and a power cord. Keyboard and mouse are fairly generic, but functioned adequately during set up. I have since installed wireless devices. No monitor included, but they aren't terribly expensive if you can't or don't want to use one you already have. The case is in great shape, with only one minor scuff that you see only if looking closely. I opened the case to verify that everything was present and properly connected, and all was as it should have been. Very clean. DVD drive functions and burns disks like a champ. I tested it just to make sure. Windows 10 came preinstalled on a brand new 2 TB Seagate hard drive. I used to avoid Seagate, but they've really stepped up their reliability over the past couple of years. For my purposes, I wiped Windows and installed OpenSuse instead, but Windows 10 will be fine for most people. Am I satisfied? You bet! I've actually been very impressed with the performance, and it runs very quietly. I've read some reviews that mention odd noises but I've heard none. If you want a nice PC that will meet the daily needs of just about everyone, then don't hesitate to save some significant money and buy a refurbished model. Even if you have a problem, Amazon always makes it easy to iron those things out; at least in my experience. Worst case scenario you get a refund. Still worried? Purchase the very inexpensive Square Trade protection. Edit: Forgot to mention that I've been using this PC for about 6 weeks now. No issues at all, and in most cases if you're going to encounter a problem it will be in pretty short order.
