Perfect oem fit

I have a 2008 x5 and my buttons are fading a bit but the remote works fine. I saw this and what a solution instead of getting a whole new comfort access key just switch out the guts. I was pleasantly surprised when I got it because this is no knock off, it is a genuine BMW remote case. No cheap BMW sticker in the center it's actually metal like the original. I actually just ordered a couple more to have as spares in the future because my M3 uses the same fob. And just a side note to one of the reviews, do not give a product a bad review because you are so inept and cannot open a simple key fob. My Lord you shouldn't even be driving a car and I feel sorry for the people in your town that have to share the roads with you. As a member of the BMW car club for over 25 years it makes me ill just thinking that there is someone driving a BMW that cannot even open a simple key fob.

Looks like a new BMW key fob

PERFECT! Just changed from the old one to this new one, mine came with the blank key and the BMW emblem on it and works perfectly. It did take a little work to get the old one open, definitely cannot use the case after it's been open. My battery was also seemingly welded into the battery holder, be careful taking that out as you do need the circuit board for the new key fob. The new key fob does take a little work as well, I used a razor around the edge to break the seal then started at the nodule at the top next to the removable key to pry apart. Snapped right back together once everything was in place. Just ordered another one for my 2nd key.

Recently bought a bmw and the key fob battery light keeps showing because the rechargeable battery I assume is dead. There's no way to open the key to change the battery so I read online to buy this case, cut open the factory bmw key fob and put the electronic chip into this case. Did it and it worked perfect, just like the OEM one. Fit into the key fob opening without any issues and does all the features its supposed to do. It also came with the bmw logo sticker to place on the keyfob (was taped inside of the key fob case) Now I can change the battery whenever it dies with this new key fob case as it opens up as opposed to the factory one which is super sealed.

The descriptions don’t really do it justice, the product looks like it could’ve been handed to me from the parts counter at the local BMW dealership, and after cracking open my old fob and replacing the battery it went into this shell perfectly with an absolutely precise fit. Unfortunately, after all of this work the fob circuit board is not sending out an RF signal despite the shiny new battery, so I may just have a fried fob (Argh), but that’s hardly the fault of this product. I would rate it OEM quality or better, really superb. And hey, now I have a backup for the day my good fob finally dies, so net win lol..

I cannot believe I spent $265.00 on a new key for my BMW E90!!!!

I cannot believe I spent $265.00 on a new key but i was not sure that i could get my dead keys back to life. I bought a 2-pack of the rechargeable VL2020 batteries with 90 degree legs and unsoldered the old batteries from the circuit board in the original keyfobs. There are a couple of videos on youtube that show you how to open your sealed keyfobs and remove the circuit board. I soldered the new batteries in place and put each keyfob circuit board into the new replacement kefobs and snapped them together. I also removed the blank metal key that comes with these and replaced them with my original metal keys. They fit, look and work perfectly. Now I have 3 fully functioning brand new looking keyforbs with fresh batteries. The only monor gripe I have is that I wished I could order the keyfobs with the 868 MHz frequency printed on the back instead of 315 MHz that is on mine. This is really not a big deal at all because the letters rub off after a while any way. 100 percent satisfied with this seller and my purchase.

Better than factory original

Looks exactly like the original. Good quality. Battery and circuit board from original broken case fit perfect in this one. I think this is better than original because it is easy to open the case and replace the battery. The factory ones are sealed marketing you think you have to back to the dealer to get the battery replaced which is really shitty by BMW. So glad I researched this and didn't waste $$ at the BMW dealer.

Great replacement

Perfect fit for my worn out e90 fob. Logo looks great. Buttons are quite solid. Everything lines up. factory key fits in it perfectly. even comes with a new blank.

Great product to replace your BMW key fob shell

I received this product, it was easy to open and replace the circuitry inside the key shell. It looks identical to the original key Fob. I highly recommend this to anyone that needs it. I also purchased a second one to replace my second key. The plastic feels just like the original one it does NOT feel cheap in anyway. The key on the right is the replacement.
