I bought four covers and I am pretty happy with them

I bought four covers and I am pretty happy with them, good thickness of the plastic. We bought them to protect our couch, loveseat, chair and ottoman from our psycho cat who pees on anything that she deems "hers". We cover everything up when we are at work or sleeping, and so far the covers keep cats totally off. The chair cover did not cover our oversized chair, but it covered the ottoman perfectly so we just got another loveseat cover. Not the prettiest solution.

Protects Couch from Cat Pee

Works exactly as you'd expect. A bit of a pain to routinely put on and off, but we keep it on our couch because our last couch was ruined by our cat with anxiety issues who peed on it (yes, we still love her), and we bought a new expensive couch and wanted to keep this one dry. About 5x a week I'll pull the cover off and put it back on. I can now put it on with only having to walk to each side 1 or 2 times. When not in use I just toss it aside on the floor. Another reviewer said it would be helpful to mark the top two corners with different colors so it's more apparent how it should be put on. I always take it off a specific way so I know which side is which when I put it back on, so I haven't marked the corners on mine, but agree it would be helpful. Sometimes I just sit on it and it of course makes a lot of crinkling sounds but I soon forget it's there (although I can see how many people wouldn't). So far I've bought 6 of these. Two "ruined" because they were peed on (I didn't feel like trying to wipe down the whole thing and trust I got the entire smell out, when in the meantime it may attract her back to it), one because it got a tear in the top corner and my other cat decided she loved chewing on the plastic edge which wasn't good for her. I have the one that's currently on it, and I have 2 spares so I can replace it as soon as there's an incident. My cat's claws do make little punctures when they're jumping on it or climbing up, so any time it's peed on it's possible for it to go through, but it would be very small; the plastic is pretty thick. This is another reason why I threw out the ones that were peed on, I wasn't sure how much of the inside I'd have to clean from anything that may have leaked through the punctures. My cats completely avoided the couch when I first put it on, but about 3 months later they began jumping up on it again.

I was so thrilled with these covers. They are a perfect weight, and fit my chairs as if they were made for them. I kept exclaiming how perfect they were as I put them on my chairs. Perhaps ALL dining chairs are the same size, but I thought mine were a bit larger so worried that they wouldn't fit. But when they just slid right down over the back and then the seat, it was like a joy! I had been prepared to do some at home adjustments to make them fit, but no, these seem made for my chairs. And the softness is lovely since they are quite thick enough to be very strong and tolerant of whatever my grandchildren will throw at them, or do on them.. kneeling, twisting, poking??, not standing I hope, but painting, dripping, marking (accidentally of course), and perhaps a bit of pounding .. just to see how strong the plastic is. You see why I need them! I haven't been this pleased with a product for a while..

The clear plastic couch cover is great! It's durable and plastic is crystal clear. Your beautiful couch is still visible. It's a bit big, however I'm able to tuck it in the cushions like a clothe cover. Perfect!

This thing is the bomb!

This plastic cover is the bomb! This is my second purchase because my teenage boys kept sitting on it and it split open pretty quickly. I use it on a couch in their game room where our cats like to hang out often. With 6 cats you get a lot of hair so I keep it covered when the boys are not playing video games in there. The cats still sleep on it dispite the plastic cover. It covers every inch so it works great for my purpose!

Great looking protective cover!

I just installed this wonderful sofa furniture protector and am beyond pleased with the quality and sturdiness of this product. It fits my sofa beautifully, molds to its shape, and fully covers every surface including the entire back panel. I bought this protector because my sofa is new, and my dog likes to jump up on it and rest like a queen on her throne. I love that she does this, but I wanted to protect the sofa fabric yet also be able to see the beautiful sofa color. The protector is also great for keeping dust off the sofa fabric. The protector is a sparkling clear plastic, not dull or opaque. The seams are covered with a white plastic seam cover. Very nice. I think I would have preferred a more subdued, less noticeable color for the plastic seam cover, but I'm content with the white because it's nice and clean looking. I didn't realize the protector would have a seam vertically up the middle so that when you look at the sofa, you see the seam and its white seam cover right in the middle of the sofa. I can take the protector off quickly and easily just before company arrives. With this product, I get to see the beautiful color of my sofa while knowing that when my four-legged Royal Resident jumps up on it that no damage will be done and that I won't have to vacuum the sofa to get rid of dust. Great product!!!. I would definitely buy this product again!

Perfect solution for my house

I wanted something that would not ruin the aesthetic of my dining room. Sure, you can definitely see these are additions to the chair and there is plenty of extra room left for a bigger chair to fit but this works perfectly for my home. We have children that love to touch things with their sticky fingers and drop saucy foods on things. We really wanted nice fabric covered parson chairs and these covers allowed us to get them and keep them protected. When we host events we are able to remove them with no damage. The fabric is sturdy and when you unfold them the wrinkles come out easily.

Very helpful product, just what I need

I purchased this plastic cover to protect my furniture. I just adopted a cat that is a big scratcher, and I'd like to make some adjustments around my house rather than get her declawed. This cover was the best quality for the price. It's a nice weight and seems very well constructed. This "loveseat" size one was actually the perfect fit for my medium-sized couch, so be sure to check the dimensions they provide in the description.

Protects Chair from Toddler

Bought a new dining room table and I put this cover on the toddler's chair as she doesn't like to sit in a high chair. It has saved me a lot of time cleaning the chair and it keeps her from biting the top back of it when she turns around to watch TV. She like to gnaw on wood. I also think it has protected the chair from hard shove-ins against the table itself, preventing dents in the wood. All the other chairs are starting to get marks, but not this chair.

Thick enough to protect against doggies claws and clear that we can see the true color of our couches- not noisy plastic.

I like Laminet covers because they are easily slipped on and keeps our dogs from shedding fur on my couches. Our three doggies love to lay on the couches. I was spending lots of time, effort, soap and water washing weekly cloth sofa cover ups, and now I don't have to. All week we leave the plastic Laminet covers on couches and on weekends we take them off and we instantly have fur-free couches. There is nothing I dislike. I will definitely recommend this product to all my friends with pets. They are reasonably priced and my doggies don't mind sitting on top of them either. Ther is one minor thing, a little noisier than cloth, but it beats dressing couches every week and washing two large loads of the cloth cover up ones. I love our doggies and my new Laminet plastic cover ups.
