My 2.5 year old loves this oven. There's so much for him to do and play with and he loves dancing to the songs and breaking the pizza apart and passing out the food and serving the cupcakes and pretending to cook. For those who have complained everything doesn't fit in the closed oven, it does, you just have to think like a 2 year old because he's managed to cram it all in and close the door. There's counting and hand washing encouragement, just so much activity in one little toy. And for those who complain about the egg constantly being sung about I have to say get a sense of humor! I think the egg industry paid Leap frog off to mention eggs on everything (eggy cupcakes, eggy pizza, bread? Put an egg on it!) but it's so humorous that we laugh. If Leapfrog has taught me anything: if all else fails put an Egg on it! Life lesson right there.

My 4-year old loves this even though the counting and number learning is a bit basic for her. It comes with a frying pan, fried egg, two plates, a pie server, two cupcakes, a 3-piece loaf of bread and a 4-piece pizza. The foods (except the egg) fit into grooves on the silver plastic tray, which goes into the oven. The left burner on top has a small red button that make a sizzling sound when your press it (or put the frying pan on it). The oven itself is compact, so it can be transported around the house pretty easily.

Both my six year old and my ten month old immediately fell in love with this oven. They haven't left it alone since it arrived. The only problem is thy fight over so I'll have o order another. I don't find the toy to be annoying as other reviewers stated. I think it is nice that it has volume choices on it. This is an amazing toy.

I love that it prompts you to wash your hands before cooking. What a great habit to instill. Has a sizzling eggs feature and you can slice up the pizza. My kids love that. The voice of the toaster is not annoying to me either. It also goes off on its own once the kids leave it alone, which I prefer. Time saver.

I got this for my granddaughter for Christmas and she loves it. She is 13 months now and is just starting to be able to really play with food (she'll give you one of the items and say "Num Num". She doesn't understand the oven concept yet but enjoys the talking/sound effects. It's a toy that she's having some fun with now and will have even more fun with later. When my kids were young, one of their favorite things to play with was their play kitchen and food. They had quite a collection (that I wish I would have saved for a few decades!). A lot of the play food out there is pretty boring in my opinion. Sometimes they are no more than a piece of single color plastic that is vaguely shaped like the real item. This set has brightly and realistic looking food. The pizza and bread loaf even break into smaller pieces to make them even more fun. (And the pieces are plenty big enough for the under 3 crowd. A great gift for little ones!

My son 15 months old,he likes it!

I bought this as a gift for my 18 month old nephew, and immediately he was smitten with it. My sister has been going crazy with his other toys that repeat the same song over and over again; my nephew has actually learned how to turn the volume up on those toys after she turns them down! But, with this toy, his parents aren't going crazy with the music and they actually find it quite catchy. Apparently, the songs really like to put an egg on things. Especially pizza. So, not only am I the best aunt to my nephew, but my sister doesn't want to throw the toy at my head for buying it.

We purchased this toy for my then 14 month old son one month ago. He doesn't understand the instructions that the oven will give him and isn't counting yet (recommended age range is 2 and up). He does enjoy opening and closing the oven, putting the pizza or bread on the tray and putting it in the oven, and pressing all of the buttons to hear the many sounds this toy makes. This toy seems pretty durable and has withstood several drops from my toddler. Most of the items fit inside the oven so this toy is easy to put away when not in use (we have lost one cupcake...). Overall I think my son will enjoy playing with this toy for a long time and as he gets older this toy will help him with his number and counting skills.

I bought this Number Lovin Oven for my niece for a Christmas gift. It arrived packaged very well, but my 2 year old son was banging on the gigantic pile of amazon boxes that seems to fill up my entry way this time each year. Well, his little hammer was able to cause enough pressure to make the toy say some of its cute expressions. He wouldn’t stop begging me to open it, so I figured I would let him play with it a little in its box. Yeah, don’t know what I was thinking with that. His response to seeing this cute oven was “Ooooohhhh!!!” & “Open, open, open!!!” I thought it seemed really cute and since he was so interested in it (and it was close to his birthday) I couldn’t resist letting him have it. Needless to say, he adores this thing!! He played with it all afternoon, BY HIMSELF!!!! For any other parents of Littles out there needing some free time, hours of playtime means hours of ME time!! I was so glad I let him have it. When his big sister got home (5 yrs old) he showed her the ropes and she was even excited to play with it. YES! Huge parent win!!! We’ve had this toy for about 3 weeks and my children play with it just about every day. They serve food to me and my husband, and the dogs and I can honestly say that I think this toy will be used for a couple of years. Back to my niece; since I know my kids love it, I’m sure my 3 year old niece will love it too. I got right back on amazon and ordered another one and it was actually a few bucks cheaper than what I paid for it the first time. Bonus!!

My 18 month old grandson received this for Christmas and absolutely loves it. This oven comes chock full of food and kitchen items, many of which are already familiar to him, thus providing long instances of engaging playtime. My least favorite thing about this toy is the music feature; it plays several songs that not only grate the nerves, but roll around in my head for hours afterwards! Needless to say, this is my grandson's favorite thing about it and keeps him waving his arms and bobbing his head along with the tunes. The pieces are very durable, easy to clean, and easy to put away as all pieces are sto red inside the oven. I highly recommend this product.
