Very shiny and skinny black snake, I used it as an early April fools for my 8 &10yo boys. I laid the head of the snake on top bunk 's pillow, and draped the tail so just a few inches hung down into the bottom bank's air space. It worked too well - currently I have 2 kids sleeping in my bed because they were so scared by the snake in their beds! Now it'll retire to the back garden thanks to ideas from previous reviews.

I have a sailboat in a slip at a marina. Birds seem to be drawn to hanging out on the jib sheets. This is a problem for me because it's a waste time to be cleaning up bird excrement stains. So, I placed the fake snake on the bow. Five days later, I went back for another sail and wow - no bird crap. Very pleased! So I bought another one in case someone at the marina decides to be funny and remove the fake snake or if a heavy wind blown it off.

This was exactly what I was looking for. We had a game at a fall festival where kids reach into boxes and guess what they are touching. The snake looked so real that some of the ladies helping with games would not go within 10 feet of it. I also "tested" it by leaving it on the floor at my house. My family knew I had it so did not fall for my trick.....but......a day or so later a REAL black rat snake found its way into our basement. My hubby, knowing his prank loving wife, thought the Real snake was my fake one and went to pick it up before seeing its tongue flicker! True story

Looks real! Looks like a mean black snake or King snake to me. Real in size too! Birds are definitely afraid of this thing. I just hung it on on side of my cabin that has an outside porch over my driveway and birds no more! I used to have Swallow nests (I think that's their name) on every light fixture (three of them on porch side) and mud, moss, pine straw, etc. all over my patio, walls and fixtures. We would clean them off before they laid their eggs, otherwise we'd have to wait until they hatched and the baby birds left the nest and then pressure wash again, and again and again. What a pain that was! Well with this snake installed I can say No more pressure washing or bird cleanup for us. Yea!!!

We bought two of these black rubber snakes to put in our vegetable garden. We also paired them with a fake owl to cover our bases. In years past I have not gotten a single mature vegetable out of the garden that was not nibbled on by some creature. This year the harvest is pouring in - nibble free! The critters (squirrels, rabbits, etc.) have stayed away, and I credit it all to the Toy Garden Props.

we bought this rubber snake to scare away the birds from our patio cover. Every year, no matter what we try to repel them, they find a way to nest there anyway. This year, however, with that snake in place, they have not even tried. Plus, it's pretty funny to see a fake snake lurking on our patio cover. It is very flexible, realistic, not too long or short, highly recommended!

I bought this to keep squirrels and birds out of my garden. So far results are great .looks very much like Black rat snake ...too much like a real snake. I forgotten I had it set up in one of the planters saw it out the corner of my eye and tried to scramble away falling on my butt. Then I had to laugh at myself.

I bought this to scare the birds away from my car. It worked for about two days even with moving it around the vehicle. They wised up fast, faster than my co-workers. I terrorized them for a week with those snakes. Good clean fun! Put one in the filter area of the coffee maker and listen for the screams. Brings a tear to my eye just thinking about it. Enjoy!
