Great MP3 player for sports and podcasts.
So far this is the best sub $100 bluetooth MP3 player I have found on Amazon. I tried several of the cheaper Chinese models and they all had issues. Most had horrible interfaces/controls that were not very intuitive or they had issues with podcast playback via bluetooth headphones. This player hit 3 of my must-have features plus the interface is pretty simple. First it will play podcasts in stereo via bluetooth (most cheap MP3 players take audio podcasts and only play them via one ear when using bluetooth even though they can play them via both ears when using wired headphones) and the second is water resistant (none of the other cheaper bluetooth models on the market have this). The third is media files can be drag and dropped into the correct folders on the player without any proprietary software (that way you never have to rely on cheap software or proprietary software). Battery life is fine so far and the buttons can be locked so they don't get accidentally pushed during workouts. It also has a clip.

Works Great with Itunes
While it took me a while and a couple of YouTubes to figure out how to convert from Itunes to MP3 (no instructions come with it), once I figured it out it was simple. All you have to do is block all of your songs under Itunes then go under into "Preferences" (which you will find under the "Edit" button) and switch it to MP3. It will automatically convert all of your Itunes in the proper format. If you have a lot of songs, like I do, then this is going to take a while, but at least the computer is automatically doing this for you (vs. having to go song by song). Then if, like me, you have Windows, go under the Windows media player and you will find all of your music ready for download. Either that, or you can drag and drop each MP3 converted song under Itunes into the MP3 player. That latter is a lot of work if you have a large selection of songs. As for the unit itself, it is tiny and perfect for traveling -- just clip it to your purse or shirt. While there are really no useful instructions that come with this unit, it is very intuitive and self explanatory. If I could figure it out with no trouble, anyone can. I specifically bought this as it has Bluetooth capability. I have connected it to my headphones, no problem. The sound is great and, as stated, it is very simple to operate. For the price, I would definitely recommend it.

Super device. It's light
Super device. It's light, and it will hang from the headphones without ripping out of the jack and eventually DESTROYING the jack like an iPod. They are cheap. With the media card, there's lots of storage. Download Audible Manager for recorded books, and drag podcasts out of itunes and drop on this device. It's that easy. Important: This things a little slow on the uptake, so hold the lock when you want it locked, and release and hold when you want it unlocked. WAIT for it to return to your books, then hit play. IT WILL TAKE A FULL THREE SECONDS TO PLAY. If you get impatient and hit it again, you will be putting it back on pause. AAARRRGGGG! When you eject it from a USB port, it take a while to refresh, give it time and don't unplug it. Sometimes it gives you the dreaded USB cord icon "transferring". Just hold the center button down with the play button and it will eventually restart. Super Duper little media player.

AVRCP profile enabled
I bought this after buying an off brand MP3 Player called the Eleston 8GB Portable Sport Clip Bluetooth MP3. I really wanted an MP3 player which had bluetooth capabilities, and so I went with a cheap option at first. However, I returned the item due to a little known fact which I didn't know at the time. On these cheap, off brand Bluetooth MP3 players, the bluetooth option is very restrictive, in the sense you aren't allowed to do any other features in bluetooth mode other than play songs, no skipping, no fast-forwarding, no shuffle. The reason is because these MP3 players do not come with the AVRCP profile. I was banging my head for the longest time not knowing why I couldn't shuffle songs. However, this SanDisk device DOES come with the AVRCP profile update, and thus you can do all the features you would expect with Bluetooth enabled for this device. I highly recommend this device, as it does exactly what you would expect it to do.

Why spend 4x on iPod Touch when this will do?
I work outside, around the house and yard. I enjoyed listening to music while working. So I have IsoTunes Pro earbuds (cuts out loud noises from lawn tools/tractor) paired with an Ipod touch. Well, after some years of use, the expensive Apple product fell out of a pocket and cracked corner to corner. Never again would I spend that much for music player only. So someone mentioned the Sandisk Clip and I looked it up. Most reviews were positive, and I ignore those that just make no sense (didn't they research what files it plays? or how long battery lasts?). It paired easily with my ISOtunes Pro earbuds, charged from the USB port on my mac, and let me copy music from my iTunes direct. I also downloaded latest firmware update and let it patch. All simple. It clips to my shirt pocket, and won't budge (bent over to start chainsaw, or pruning/cleaning up debris). Volume is good and my earbuds controls raise/lower volume, pause, skip/back tracks. And it sounds as good as the iPod. Caveat: once off, when powered up, you don't need to re-pair with same BT device but twice the BT setting was OFF. I put it ON and a few seconds later, listening to my shuffled songs.

Great Bluetooth MP3 player for runners
After trying some of the AGPTEK models, which I have returned because of the abysmal quality, I tried the slightly more expensive SanDisk model. I really like this device, it's small, very lightweight, and easy to use. I use it primarily for running where I need a simple control set. Pairs perfectly with my BlueTooth headphones, no issues there whatsoever. I really like this and recommend it for runners.

Love the addition of Bluetooth!
This is my 3rd SanDisk Mp3 player and I love it. My first one got dropped in water accidently, so I ordered the 2nd. I've had it for about four years and it works perfectly. BUT when I saw the addition of Bluetooth to the new player, I knew I had to have it. I listen strictly to audio books on these players and now have a set of wireless Bluetooth earbuds, and often use a bluetooth speaker as well. I like to listen to audio books while I clean house or do outside yard work, and earplugs with wires just don't work for me. This SanDisk is the answer! Love love love it. My audiobooks (downloaded from my local library web site) work perfectly. The Bluetooth connection to my headphones is easy. Worth every penny.

Easy setup and great capacity
I bought this to use for working out and to address some deficiencies in an automotive stereo system and it certainly met expectations. The setup was easy and within a few minutes my music, books and language programs were loaded and it was paired with my Bluetooth headphones. The online manual explains how to setup play lists but if you don't want to go through the extra effort to have them show up under the Music folder, just dragging and dropping your existing playlist folders will store them under the "Folder" and they work just fine. Overall, I am pleased with the product.

Small but mighty
I love this little player. Great for music, has a radio, and is small enough to clip onto the bill of my cap at the gym. It will also play audio books from Audible. Battery life is about 20 hrs.

Great Device for Mobility
This review is for SanDisk Sports Clip Plus MP3 with Bluetooth. Amazon does not separate the reviews for the different types of ScanDisk MP3 players. This one works great for what it was designed for; however it is a little tricky to use it for audiobooks from the public library, for why I bought it. This is not the device for someone who barely knows how to pull up their email. On the other hand, you do not have to be a rocket scientist to use it. I love it! I don't run with it, but I cook, fold up clothes, and do a multitude of things while it is clipped to my shirt or pants. It is very tiny in size and the screen is too; however, although I have a low vision problem, I can read it. It comes with earbuds, but I use a Bluetooth headset (Mpow 059) which pairs easily with the device. I think some, of course not all, of the bad reviews are from people who are not very tech savvy and patient enough to "hang in there" until they learn the device. It is like a lot of electronic devices, you learn from trial and error. It comes with a minimal amount of instruction, but there is an online manual.
