These beads are prettier than the photo gives them credit for. I used them to make rosaries. There were enough to make three 5 decade rosaries.

Very pretty, but be aware, if using these beads with stone beads know that the holes are bigger then the stone bead holes. Depending on how big your other beads are and how thick the string is that you're using, you may need to double knot if your necklace or bracket design requires knitting.

AMAZING! This mad 10 7inch bracelets and came with the cord. You will want to invest in a beading needle (or looped dental floss) and double your string and pull it through the beads. It's a tight fit, so I needed the floss and I strung half the beads on the one elastic string (provided) and divided them into bracelets and cut with enough string to tie and glue. It comes with a pack of tiny beads and 2 finishing cone-type beads. Gorgeous! Without a beading needle or floss you will not be able to thread them, but I have seen these for $40 a piece- mine cost $1 each to make.

I got the Wenge Wood 200pcs 8mm. These are gorgeous! I used these as detailing on my dream-catcher. They are strung on some thin yarn. I had no broken beads, but only a couple didn't have holes in them, like 2-3 out of 200! In the bag I also received some miscellaneous beads and some elastic cord. I would love to buy more of these in different types, but I have no idea what I would use them on! Love love love!

i inadvertently left the wrong review and would like to change that. the beads were wonderful, although i have to say that there was one 8mm bead that actually had three holes in it. it really didn't make a difference to me since i had enough to make the rosaries i wanted to make. hope to do business in the future.

Great looking wooden beads for jewelry or any other crafts and delivered faster than promised with a extra lovely gift! Those beads are nicely made of actual wood with even finish. Excellent workmanship. I love the light, almost unique cedar scent they give off. It seems that these beads are more than 200pcs since they can make two 108 malas, besides there are two elastic cords in the pack, which is perfectly convenient when you just need some. Great product and service! Thoroughly recommended!

Photo is the FAKE beads (note label difference and the beads are on a strand, not loose as they are supposed to be) The actual CarpenterC beads are gorgeous, shiny, all are round and perfectly shaped. I ordered several different types of these beads and really like them for making malas. I went to reorder the same black ebony beads and this time received very poorly made beads (I have gone back to check that I clicked on CarpenterC and I did) yet this batch of beads wasn’t shiny, was cut wrong and were not very round. I use these beads to teach mala making classes and cannot use such low quality beads for them. Be sure that you actually get the CarpenterC beads - photo is the label of the “counterfeit” beads.

I purchased the 500 pc. ebony beads in 8mm. They are definitely an ebony-type wood, as they do sink in water. ("Ebony" covers several kinds of wood that are generally dark, and can be either patterned or plain. They're all dense, have specific gravity near or greater than that of water, and take a fine polish.) These beads look like black glass. Close examination under pure white light (6400K) reveals a slight chocolate brown tint that, if anything, improves the richness of the black. The holes are well-finished. The polish is so good that I cleaned one bead with acetone to make sure it wasn't an artificial finish. I make malas for Buddhist meditation, and will definitely purchase from CarpenterC again. Very pleased.

I love CarpenterC beads. They have always been a consistent quality. Round, real sandal wood. light scent. Perfect. I've used them many times for over a year now. See image one I labeled them green sandalwood in the corner. WARNING watch that you click on the seller CarpenterC. I rushed and did not notice I clicked on a default seller named Smart Seller Point. They sent beads, but they were NOT CarpenterC beads despite the label. First off they were a chocolate brown which is not even a color Carpenter C offers. Next the were oval and mis-shapened. This is image 2 and 3. The chocolate brown color photos. What's worse when you try to tell customer service they have a very hard time understanding they aren't the same because the label says CarpenterC even though they are something different. So again if you want the quality ones stay away from Smart Seller Point and select CarpenterC as the seller (they are also the manufacturer).

I use these for making malas. I bought polished/varnished dark beads from this same company and the holes were drilled to big for Knotting as the knot slipped through the hole. These have the perfect size hole. This is my second order of these. I love these beads
