Beautiful but both defective

This Sugar Plum Fairy nutcracker is beautiful, no doubt, but the first one I bought had 2 line dents in her face and the second one had a broken crown that was repaired before it was shipped out which means poor quality control by the manufacturer. The company should therefore check items before they go out. It would avoid headaches for customers. So I’ve sent back 2 and I plan on ordering another one and crossing my fingers.

Great quality product

The Nutcracker is a family tradition for us. Every year the entire family gets a special nutcracker gift. This year I get to introduce my newly blended family grandaughter to the wonderment of the Nutcracker ballet and Clara. This nutckracker is well made and a perfect representation of the ballet to continue our tradition. It is well detailed and sturdy. Thank you for helping me continue the tradition!

I have been surprising her with at least one nutcracker each year for the past five & this is one of her favorite ones so far. There are similar editions to this one, but this one stands out by far. very good quality & craftsmanship.

Nice Guy With Gold Trim!

The comments about the product photo on this listing being different from the actual soldier shipped are true. The photo shows him with green lapels (currently Dec '16), but the ones I received have gold lapels. The title of this one lists gold as one of the colours, so the description is correct while the photo is not. I knew from the reviews that this was likely the case, but it wasn't a big issue for me. The other listings from "Clever Creations" were sold out and I needed soldiers-- any colour will do! It's my assignment to find & order them as decorations for the Christmas buffet table at church-- mission accomplished. I wish I had thought to take a picture of one to attach here before I delivered them. However, I can say they seemed well made with nice details-- not cheap looking at all. The ladies in charge of laying the tables were very pleased (and relieved, I think) when they opened the box this morning. That fact alone is worth five stars! So, bottom line: if you're in need of a soldier nutcracker and can deal with gold lapels, this one is a good choice. Merry Christmas, All,,,!
