I bought this kit for my 8 year old daughter for her wildlife camp this summer. As soon as she opened it, she took everything outside and started looking for critters! Her favorite is definitely the large insect viewer and the insect "catcher". Great product, great price. Highly recommend!

Wonderful present for fun and learning!

Wonderful for little kids--ages 5+ (maybe younger). Really instills curiosity and if you add one of the wonderful books on bugs, it's a terrific present! I also added a Backyard Safari Vest and a magnifying glass. It was a complete winner for 5-year grandson!

My daughter love them!

It’s very practical, my 3 years old love to play outside and seeking for all kind of bugs. This set will help her explore bug hunt in the back yard.

Even better than I expected!

My 5 year old grandson loves this set. It is a great set for the price and the pieces each work well. Having 3 separate containers is a plus. The scissors looking scoop actually catches bugs quite well!. His only disappointment is that he can't find any in the house. :o)

Disgustingly disturbing

I actually hate this toy. My children collect all manner of disgusting, repulsive, hideous things with more legs than should be allowed on a living organism. Then they come and share their discovery with me, and I have to look through the magnified lid of the containment unit to view in great detail the monstrosities within. Thanks a lot for this.

This kit is so cute! I bought it as a birthday gift for my daughter, she asked for a bug hunting kit. She LOVES this. She has caught butterflies, grasshoppers, ants, and lizards. The magnified lid is great to watch the smaller bugs, and everything looks like it will hold up for awhile and was well made. Definitely recommend for any young insect enthusiasts!

Love it!!!

Love this! Just got it for my daughter who loves to catch lightning bugs. She's 5, with using this kit, she got her older brother (7 and mine craft obsessed) to go out with her and catch the evening bugs. There's different tools the can use to pick them up with. There a holder container that has a magnifying top. They love that! My son has been teaching my daughter all about the different kind of bugs, beetles, etc and shows her the difference so she can learn. They never get along together except when they are playing with this. Some pieces are slightly cheap but you can beat the price. Will be buying another set soon so they can each go on their own adventure to then compare!

My four year old waited by the window for the mailman, and his package arrived right on time. This as last Monday, and we have spent time every day this week searching for bugs. He loves the magnifying viewer as well as the scissor tool with the clear ball on the end. The little guy loves being outside, and this has made him love it even more. He is one happy bug hunter.

Great learning utility for the aspiring entomologist in the family. I had to literally stop my 5 year old from sleeping with the insects collected on the day she first got this. Awesome seller, fast shipping, all items pictured included as advertised.

So glad I bought this kit!

My granddaughter saw a classmate with this kit at school and couldn’t stop talking about it. I bought her one and she loves it! We go on bug, butterfly and lizard catching expeditions and she takes it to school to catch interesting critters there too. She is a hit with her classmates. I love the design of each piece. They make the process easy and the magnifying glass built in makes for more fun and learning. My granddaughter is 10 and her brother is 8. They both enjoy the kit. I wish it came with a bag or backpack to carry the pieces but that was an easy accessory to find. She is a little rough on the net, but so far, all of the pieces have held up well. I would highly recommend this kit.
