Wind Fun

I live in a windy area. I personally can calm my windy area by running out of my house to measure the velocity of the wind. I also bought one for my sister so we can play "my area is windier than your area". It's fun.

Handy item to have...

Gave it to my husband for Father's Day and he loves it. We had a refrigerator issue and it came in very handy. I would buy again and probably get one for my son.

Test the wind

I just received it recently... I put it on a tripod and keep it handy while flying my drone... Works great and very nice being able to connect it to my phone :)

great for sailors

it is gone to my local charity sailing school all instructors loved it great for sailors, Please make app finding little more clear many android apps cannot make a search via barcode play store forget it. Great little thing that every sailor need one at the sailboat.

Phone App connectivity is neat!

I bought this anemometer to identify some flow issues with my home ac system. Pretty Intuitive piece of equipment, the app works flawlessly and connected quickly to my phone and I was able to log different measurements. I was able to identify a vent that was flowing pretty low compared to the others and fixed it. Menus are easy to play with.

The product works quite well.

The product works quite well. It is a fine thing to be able to tell a surface temperature with such accuracy from a distance. The product literature both on the web page and the printed version needs some editing for more correct grammar. I 'struggled' a bit trying to open the battery cover. A graphic that shows the cover removal would be helpful.

Quite nice

It works great. Sure, the instructions (such as they are) seem a bit lacking but it's not rocket surgery and the basics are there. An average 10-year old could have it dialed in within minutes. Perfect for drone launches. The RH feature is also kinda neat. This one doesn't calculate wind chill, but that's basic algebra anyway...or you can let your phone & a website work that out if need be. ;-) It seems very accurate...I tested it in my convertible with a very accurate speedo... So yeah, if you need an anemometer...I could easily recommend this one.

Does what my cheaper meter could not do. Sturdy case, fast response autoranging and continuity test.

Sturdy case, accurately measured what a cheaper meter could not. Tested resistance to at least 11.5 Mohm(highest resistance item I could find at the shop) and diode test 2.1 volts on a BMW wheel sensor. 0.1 seconds or less to settle the autorange and even less time on the continuity tester. The auto backlight and locking mechanism on the com ports is awesome. Only complaint is the view angle on the LCD is a bit narrow. Anything past 45 degree on the vertical and you see all the LCD sections.

Great buy for anyone needing to find tempiture ranges,can,t beat the price or its accurancy.
