- EXCLUSIVE CAT SILHOUETTE SHAPE: Let your whimsical side show while giving your kitty her freedom with this adorable cat-shaped interior pet door. Perfect for laundry rooms, bedrooms, basements, etc.
- ENJOY AN ODOR-FREE HOME: Close the door on that nasty-smelling litter without locking the cat in or out. Instead, she'll have her own access to food & bathroom, and your home will smell fresh.
- MADE TO LAST: Unlike some other pet doors for cats, your Purrfect Portal cat door doesn't rely on tape or glue for installation. The included self-drilling screws keep your pet door in place for years to come.
- FITS HOLLOW-CORE & SOLID DOORS: With its clever design, your pet portal creates a safe, finished opening in any interior door from 1.25" to 1.75" thick. Kitties (& kids) won't get paws and fingers stuck.
- FOOLPROOF INSTALLATION: Use the template to mark your door, and with just a jigsaw and a screwdriver, you can quickly give kitty access to her litter box or food - while keeping kids and dogs out.

Gotta give it 5 stars. It gave us the ability to place the litter box in our shoe closet. The install went down with out a hitch. One suggestion: place the door traffic side down so the jigsaw vibrates on the non-traffic side. There was some paint rubbed off during the process. Nothing drastic...purely cosmetic. Our kitten used the hole the second the door was re-hung and even before his box was placed inside.

Super easy install!

Installed easily in less than 30 minutes
We installed this on an interior hollow core door. Installed easily in less than 30 minutes. Looks great and works well for our 10 pound cat. It would easily work for a large cat as well.

Awesome cat portal
We call this our cat portal and love the look! It is a great size for our cats. Even better, i found it very easy to install. The trace was a great idea and directions were right on. Only thing I'd do differently would be to run the jigsaw up from each side, ending at the top of the head. Positioning was awkward finishing up by working down.

The cat loves this pet door. So do we!
We installed the door for our cat, so we could keep the litter box in the basement, yet keep the basement door closed, so that our baby grand-daughter would not have access. We also put in an LED night light for the cat to have some light to see the box area. The pet door was very easy to install. It just takes the template which is provided, and a jig saw. I highly recommend taking the door down to get a good cut, We have a 6 panel interior door, which is thin and mostly engineered wood, so the cutting was easy. The 4 screws went in very easily with just a quick pre-drill. I am an average do it yourself guy, and not any kind of skilled craftsman, but this just took me less than 15 minutes in total, and enabled us to remove the litter box to a much better (less smelly area for guests and us). It really worked out. It is not plug and play, and does take a bit of work as I described, but we love the results, and it is 'cute' and many visitors have given positive comments on the arrangement By the way, the cat figured it out in about 15 minutes also, and adjusted with no problems.

Love this thing! Read full review for installation tip.
What a great thing this is! I didn't like the look of the "flap" doors, or the thought of cutting a hole in the middle of the door, so I was glad to have found this. Our cat, Nightmare, had no problems figuring out how to use it. We now have his food and litter box tucked out of sight, and we love it (he does too)! We installed it a couple of weeks ago, and have been pleased ever since. We enjoy watching Nightmare emerge from his "hole"... If I have a "negative" comment, it's that I think the portal could be a little taller in the middle, but it doesn't seem to be a problem for Nightmare. It causes him to arch his back to go under, but cats do that stuff anyway, so it's probably more of an issue to me. And maybe he's just a tall cat... The installation was relatively simple, and straight-forward. I started my installation process by marking a light "x" in pencil at the bottom of the door, approximately where the cut would be made, before proceeding with step 1. This made certain that I was cutting the correct edge of the door. I followed the rest of the instructions exactly as written, and had the door removed, cut, and replaced in under an hour. It probably could have been done a bit more quickly, but I like to take my time so I don't mess it up. One more thing...if you follow what I did, and mark an "x" at the bottom of the door, open the door and mark the interior (not usually visible) side of the door, then proceed with hinge pin removal per the instructions. Lay the door on a work surface with the "x" facing up prior to cutting, and the door will be oriented correctly for installation of part A. If the exterior side of the door is facing up for the cut, you'll have to flip the door to complete the installation sequence. Not a big deal, just a step to improve efficiency, and prevent having to flip the door more than once. I would recommend this to anyone who has a cat inside the house.

Easy to install and looks great!
Our 20 month-old son learned how to open the gate to the basement. Now we can leave the door shut and not have to worry about our cats. One cat is short and fat and the other tall and skinny, they run in and out without any problems.

Very satisfied.
Installed super easy. Took less than 10 mins from the time I took off the door till the time I put it back on. I have a French bulldog pug mix, he's about 30 lbs. I picked this cat hole since it's more oval shaped, not as tall as others. My puppy cannot get through here and doesn't even try. He only likes to look through it to look downstairs. Our cats can easily get in here, quickly when needed too. Stencil made it easy to place this. I expected more trouble but honestly it was easier than expected. My first cut worked and there is no wobble or tight spots. The plastic itself is nice, Does not feel cheap. Looks rather easy to clean too if it gets dirty.

Awesome, even for scaredy cats.
I bought this for two reasons, 1. I have twins babies who will not stop playing with the cat water, food and litter pan. Now the cats can go in and out of the laundry room as they wish and I can leave the door shut. 2. I have a cat that is terrified of new things, a door flap would've been an issue for her and this model does not have a door flap. Installation: I had my Dad come over and install it, he used a jigsaw and he said it was easy. Package came with a stencil for the cut. Experience so far: It took some coaxing but the cats started using it the first day. It's so freaking cute to look at, that I didn't mind putting a hole in my door. My fat cat (18lbs) fits through no problem.

Cat loves it!
This door is the best! Found a similar one on Amazon, but it was $10 more for basically the same thing. Reviews were comparable too. I obviously went with this option instead. Directions are super simple and straightforward. I cut out the included template and my husband used a jigsaw to cut out the opening. Hardware (screws) were included. I think it took him about 30 minutes from start to finish. Door looks great and my cat loves it! It's a great escape for her to get away from my toddler when he gets a little loud/wild. She just hangs out on the top basement step - close to us, but safe and comfortable.
