Great sturdy tape dispenser. If you need help setting it up or figuring out how to get the safety blade cover off, just Google "Tape King TX100." There's a super helpful video on You Tube where you can see exactly how to do it. This is exactly what I was looking for when I bought this dispenser/gun. I'm really happy with.

Quality tape dispenser

I really like this tape dispenser. It is well made and easy to use. It's sturdy and has a nice grip. So far it has held up to repeated use. I think it will last me a long time. I also liked that shortly after my order, the company emailed me some helpful tips on how to use it when it arrived. My one minor complaint is that it doesn't have a latch or mechanism to keep the tape in place. If you try to tape around a box and you rotate the dispenser, the tape can slide out. You have to keep the dispenser straight, at the same angle, which makes taping around a large item a little difficult. Overall though, this is a very nice, quality dispenser at a reasonable price. I would recommend.

Dispenser A+ .. Tape Smell.. You better read this

These actually work just like you see on TV. The seller has put in the effort to idiot-proof how to use these. It's super simple to, but they idiot proofed it. Using things keeps your fingers tape free. Never touch the sticky stuff. The big benefit is your fingers dont get whack from holding and touching tape. And the biggest benefit is you get tight, pushed down seems on the boxes. All with using the minimum amount of tape. Upgrade. If you just use the dispenser that came with you 3M tape and you ship a bit, this will change your shipping life. I ship photos, negs, and other photography related materials. This is a must. In regards to the Tape King tape. It works great, its thin, but strong, and works perfectly like you can't imagine with the dispenser. The only negative is the glue/tape smells like cancer. I understand the listing mentions it is "safe" and doing my own research have found that this type of tape does off-gas but shouldnt pose a health risk. A great tape dispenser

Great tape dispenser it has replaced my old ones in the office and we now use them daily and they work awesome. I like how they are adjustable in tension and the tape that came with this set is really good too. Glad to see that they are also so confident about their product really brings peace of mind. Update After some heavy use in our warehouse over the next 6 months they are still working great. Key things this has an advantage over other tape guns is that its tension can be adjusted and it's price to quality. I wish it was a little heavier so it can do some heavy duty jobs better but it works fine but i do find myself reaching for my Uline most of the time and this is my second choice. So if you have a Uline and are thinking this is an appropriate upgrade I'd say stick to Uline but for 99% of people I think this is best for the price!

Much better than the last one....

I don't know if I bought a crappy tape dispenser the first go round or what - but these work so much better and easier - I was using a scissors to cut the tape with the last dispenser and was sharing a few choice words each time I had to use it. I even began to wonder if it was me - thanks to these, I know it is not. It comes with a little cover that will fit back on over the sharp edges - so keep it if you only use it periodically or have little hands that might get hurt from it.

Needs Dentures!

I purchased the 2-pack and sadly neither had teeth. So much for quality control. I could understand one, but not both missing teeth. More importantly, I called the manufacturer to have them just send me teeth, but they couldn't be bothered with a phone call. Message only and they'll get back to you when they feel like it. Instead, they want you to email them, then if they have an additional question you'll have to email them back.....and on it goes. A phone call would have resolved the issue within 60 seconds. My time is valuable. Oh well, if they don't have time for me, I'll give my money to someone who does. Sending them back. UPDATE: Exheed contacted me and apologized. Not only that, but since I had already returned them, they have shipped me a new pair of tape guns at no charge. That was very nice of them, so I have changed my rating to 5 stars. Still, all of this could have been avoided if they had just picked up the phone.

Worked Very Well

Packed half of a house, twelve rolls of tape, and this really worked well. I think the heavier 3.2 mm tape made a difference also. The tape cut where and when I wanted to cut it. The tape stayed on the roller below the cutting blade, ready to go, and never rolled back.

Tape gun that will last forever!

I tossed my old dispenser that had no handle and finally got this good one. It loads really easily and best of all the tape does not fold back on itself and get stuck on the roll like my old dispenser. I received a cover for the sharp cutting area and a free roll of tape too! I also like that I can adjust the tension of the tape. I am using Tape King's extra thick tape for my moving boxes. It works well with this. Sturdy, good quality!

This is a great tool! Respect it!

I am a proud Amazon Prime member. I need to make use of the free returns option frequently. This involves sealing and mailing many packages. With my Tape King I can pack up my Amazon returns like a pro! At first, I had an issue with my Tape King. After using Tape King, a strip of tape about 3" long is left dangling from the dispenser. The dangling tape is a feature permitting you to move quickly from one taping to the next. The tape is very adhesive and when you set the Tape King down the dangling tape sticks to everything! Before you set the Tape King down I suggest you do the following: Manually retract the dangling tape by rotating the tape roll clockwise until only about 1" of tape extends beyond the metal pressure plate. When you start your next job simply pull the tape out so it extends past the blade. If you wish to start you job with a fresh cut, you should extend the tape several inches above the blade and press the tape against the plastic shield to cut the tape. KEEP FINGERS AWAY FROM BLADE! IT IS SHARP! This is a great tool! Respect it!

The end-all, be-all of tape guns

I don't have a ton of experience with a broad variety of tape guns, but this one has to be among the best. The setup is a little tricky (reading directions to load tape on a tape gun seems unnecessary, but I had to), but once you get going, this is beautiful. I used it for moving, and all the boxes I packed were super sturdy. Now I'm using it to ship returns back to stores and to sell Poshmark items, and I feel like a professional shipper when I use it. The blade is sharp, the tape comes out cleanly, the clamp holds it on so you don't have to find the edge and peel it off the rest of the roll... they've solved all the problems I've ever had with any tape I've ever used. Everything I could ask for.
