Whoooomp! WHOOOOOMP!!!
Surprisingly good sound! It really DOES sound like a truck horn and not one of those cheap aerosol "air horns". Did not come with complete mounting hardware, nor detailed instructions. However, it was easy enough to figure out. It draws about 14 amps when active.

VERY LOUD Train Horn sound
My after market electric horn only lasted 6 month, so I decided to go with these using the original stock horn wire. Took me about 30 min and when my 7 yr old pushed the steering wheel horn he got a big scare. Even my wife said it made her ears hurt ( she was 30 ft behind the truck ) I may purchase another set for the left side wire connection. Will update on use and life of horn.

Makes idiots poop their pants
Finding a place close to existing horn was the trick because of its length, since it didn't fit where original one was, but hooked into existing horn wire and WOW! And went from a 15 to a 25 amp horn fuse and it blew my socks off. Very impressed.. Yes , im going to get one for my wifes car pretty soon. Great value for the money.

Awesome
Awesome little horn. Install was simple and easy. I connected to my factory horn and disconnected that. So it would work with my steering wheel horn. Love scaring people that are walking past. Pretty loud to be this cheap. Would buy again

Great for the price!
Pretty simple install. Saw lots of reviews saying to change to a bigger horn fuse or use a relay to power the compressor. I put it in a '12 f150 and used the existing horn circuit. It's not the loudest air horn out there but it's not quite, at all. And best of all, IT SOUNDS LIKE AN AIR HORN! Unlike some of the more expensive tankless air horns I've checked out. It does have some draw backs. It's not for a novice to install. You must have working knowledge of automotive electrical and light Fabrication skill for the install. The only thing I would like to have seen in the package that wasn't are the female spade terminals to attach to the compressor. Just feel like that's .33 cents that could be included. Another install note. You will need ample space near the front of your vehicle if you want to do a concealed install. The horn is long! That's what makes it a real air horn though. The horn itself is made of steel that is chrome plated. The compressor is steel and I think aluminum. Fasteners are included in the package. Overall I'm extremely happy with the 26 dollars I paid for this horn and anyone that wants a loud horn on a budget won't be disappointed as long as you remember it didn't cost you $200 and take a day to install. It took me about an hour to install behind the grill of my truck. Oh, it also comes with gasket for the mounting surface for those of you that want to install it on the exterior of your vehicle.

Fun little Jeep Wrangler JK upgrade
Fun little Jeep Wrangler JK upgrade. Pretty damn loud. Lower tone than electric horns. Tricky to install and had to replace the 10 amp fuse with a 20 amp fuse, but so far, so good. Slight delay when you honk because the compressor takes a split second to fire up, but it's faster than i expected. Mounted mine on the frame crossbar under the radiator with extensions on the stock horn wires. I recommend angling the horn slightly downward so it can't collect water.

loud horn, works fine
I was worried after reading the reviews that this horn was weak or soft. It is NOT true. I wired mine strait from the battery with a 30 amp inline fuse with 10 gauge wire to the relay. I then used 14 gauge wire from the relay to the horn compressor. 14 gauge for the grounds on the compressor and relay, then a 14 gauge for the sense wire spliced into the positive side of my existing stock 95 jeep yj horns. When I hit the horn I get the small beep of the jeep, and a very loud honkin air horn. Tried it out in the parking lot at the airport, works just fine.

Did all the negative reviews install it wrong?
I used a 50 amp engine starter button, mainly because if somebody breaks in I want them to hit it and get a nice surprise and alert me. I used 10 gauge wiring fused with a 20 amp breaker ran into the cab through a grommet and ran 10 gauge wire to the horn and used a water resistant heat shrink female connector. I also used a 10 gauge ground wire that I grounded to the frame. I would imagine that using cheap and too small of a gauge wire would cause this to be under powered. I did change the mounting hardware to stainless and used lock nuts, I also coated the trumpet and pump in a few layers of clear coat to help prevent rust.

Really loud and 100% worth it (less than a week owning)
HOLY HELL this is loud. I love it. For the price so far it is worth it, need to hook it up but this is going to scare the hell out of the people that cut me off. I would not recommend it for people that have little to no confidence in electrical wiring, as this is not a plug and play. If you are concealing this within the engine bay, You will need to find a nice long area for this to reside. The front support can be removed at note, and the construct appears to be chromium dipped, holding up nicely and does not appear it will chip. You will need to somehow protect the compressor as the contact leads are exposed. This horn does draw more current than your stock horn, I blew my 10a fuse (like an idiot) with one blow. Best to run this in with a relay, like the one paired with "People also purchased"
