15 minutes and done. Super easy to install. I don't like the big clamps that secure the rail along the bed but that's just me. There's really nothing wrong with them I just don't like them and don't mind drilling a few holes in the bed rail. Make sure you fasten the rails close enough inward to not leave a gap in the final crossbar when you bring it down to close. Looks great and easy to adjust as needed.

Update June 6 2020: I'm getting ready to buy another one of these because the first one served me so well. Complaints about quality of latches and other hardware fall on deaf ears for me, as I never once had a problem with any of that after two years. This included numerous 4-6 hour trips at Interstate speed, as well as hauling all manner of cargo, rolling up the cover and securing it back down, the works. And never once the slightest water leak, in high-pressure car washes or thunderous downpours. In my experience these are solid truck bed covers at a bargain price. Spend $700-plus if you want, I really don't need to. (My original review follows.) Installed easily enough, snugs down easy, appears secure on the truck (2007 Ram 1500 Quad Cab, 6.5' bed). The clips are plastic as noted by other reviewers, but they seem sturdy enough. I'm not sure lightweight aluminum/alloy would be a whole lot better. I spent considerable time getting the rails lined up just right, so it locks down solid. After locking it down I tighten up the sides -- I pull the velcro loose and tug each side good and tight. That gives it a nice smooth appearance and makes sure there is excellent velcro contact all the way up and down. So far everything is fine. I've only rolled it up a couple of times, don't expect to have to do that very often, so I'm not greatly concerned about excess wear-and-tear on the plastic tabs or slots. It unlocks/pops loose easily, is very easy to roll up and the wrap-around straps hold it down good enough. When rolling it back down over the bed, it's important to make sure each end of the support slats goes down inside the rails. That is also very easy to do when I'm standing in the bed rolling it out. ONE SPECIFIC ISSUE and the SOLUTION: My bed liner has a lip over the front rail, plus a tailgate piece that comes up over the tailgate. The sides are bare metal, not covered. So what happened was I had a thin gap between the rails and the truck. It was also a little difficult closing the tailgate after I locked down the tonneau cover. So I bought a 30' roll of 1-1/2" x 1/4" neoprene foam strip ($25) to fill in the gaps on each side. It works perfectly. I didn't expect a super-watertight fit, but the foam strip sealed it all up very nicely. And I can close the tailgate without any real trouble. Bought "Used - Like New" through Prime and it arrived in like-new condition.

Pleasantly surprised my the truck bed cover. For the price it works extremely well even in below freezing temps. Not sure why others have such a gap near the tailgate, if it is installed correctly I don't think it will be an issue. Mine did not come with instructions for some reason, but there is no need. It only took me 30 minutes to install by myself in the dark and I've never installed one before. So I would think that it should not be an issue for someone with instructions to do it considerably quicker.. I like it, i keeps the weather out, latches super easy by the tailgate, and when it is rolled up the whole bead is available for use.

So far, so good. I've had it for about 2 weeks now, and I love it! It's easy to operate (roll up or roll out) and works great. It was easy to install if you take the time to read the instructions and prepare with the right tools. Only took about 20 minutes, even with measuring and re-measuring to make sure placement was good. I've never had a truck bed cover before, so I didn't know what to expect after install. First, I finally bought one cuz I needed it for a 10hr round trip I was taking and couldn't fit the big stuff inside the cab. I averaged 75mph on the highway, and was no problem whatsoever. Second, before the long trip, I took it through an automatic car wash, and despite being nervous that it was going to blow off, or leak or something, I was ecstatic to see that it held, no problem, and the bed was dry as a bone. Overall, really good quality cover with quality hardware for a very reasonable price. I love the magnetic LED light too! It does get dark under the cover, but never thought I'd need a light...but think about it, every car trunk has lights inside or on the lid, right!? Very satisfied!!

Just installed yesterday. After having watched a handful of YouTube videos on installation prior to receiving it, I didn’t even look at or need instructions. It’s very a intuitive and straight forward design especially if you’re somewhat handy. An impact driver fitted with the 10m socket will make the job that much quicker but not at all required. Another tip on installation is it seems some people had an issue with the end of the cover flexing up. If the clamps closest to the tailgate are positioned too far back it will cause the end of the rails to flex up slightly. I recommend clamps be positioned directly behind where the cover is locked in, keeping the end of the rails firmly secured and minimizing the flex. Went on for me in 20 minutes with minor adjustments. Fits my 2016 Ram 1500 very well and seems of high quality. Time will tell, but for the money this is exactly what I wanted.

When I had my last truck 20 years ago, tonneau covers were expensive and cumbersome. This product exceeded my expectations at this price point and I am satisfied with my purchase. The truck is not a daily driver so my main objective was to keep leaves and water out of the bed as it sits in my driveway. I selected the roll-up cover to make hauling materials, motorcycles, and other items easier when I do need the bed open. The cover took about 30 minutes to install with just a Phillips screwdriver and a 10mm socket. I sped things up a bit by using an impact driver on the clamps and then snugged down with a socket wrench. As with most assemblies, now that I've done it once, I am guessing I could now have the whole setup on in about 10 minutes. Quality of the components seems quite adequate and I am pleased with the function and the appearance of the cover on the truck. In the coming days I will likely add the included seal strip as I do see a bit of daylight across the front of the bed. I wasn't sure I would need it but the front bed rail is bowed just enough that there are slight gaps on either side.

Arrived a day earlier than originally promised. Easy to follow directions and install. Road trip coming up Labor Day week to Upper Peninsula will edit ratings if any unforeseen problems pop up. 08/27/20 first edit. Rained hard yesterday, checked bed of truck and found plenty of water. Put it in garage with lights off and 300 watt worklight in the bed under the cover and found a small gap all the way across the front of the bed. If light can get through so will water. When installed it appeared to be tight to the bedliner there, it wasn't. Added weatherstrip supplied with cover. Let's see what happens next. Did see gap at tailgate as well, may have to add to weatherstrip there as well.

If you aren't expecting high dollar quality for low cost, this is the perfect cover. For $200, I love it. It was easy to install, and it is easy to use. Looks nice and fits nice as well. I did have to use the provided foam on the front of the bed to get a decent seal. My 2016 Ram 1500 Big Horn has the side covers and spray in liner. Did not have to trim anything on the side covers. Yes, it does still let very little water in the bed during heavy rain, but nothing major at all for me. It also does flop some going down the road, even with it as tight as it will go. All in all, I am happy with this purchase. I had a 2014 Ram 1500 with a different brand tri-fold design. I liked the cover, but I didn't like having to completely remove it if I needed the whole bed. This one rolls up perfectly, and doesn't have to be removed for full bed access. Time will tell on the longevity of it, but it seems to be well made. Will update if something happens down the road.

Was very easy to install on my 2012 dodge ram 1500. Make sure you see if you need the extra piece of weather stripping before you tighten everything down. Lucky I didn't need it. It looks very good quality and feels pretty sturdy. I did not see a lot of bouncing around from the wind when driving. I could feel a difference in the downdraft of truck, is assume it may knock a microfraction of gas mileage off as well due to the wind being able to pass over the bed, instead of in it lol. Had to adjust the locking mechanism. I simple loosened them, and closed the top into them and pushed the locking mechanism, back into where the top latches to it, made it flush and tightened screws. Made it perfect, and I didn't have any flaring ends after I did it. Hope this helps!!

Here is the skinny on this tonneau cover... it came really nicely package. Putting it on is a breeze it took me 20 min. Seriously, a phillips head screw driver and a 10mm socket were money. The clamps fit on nicely and the design doesnt requier 2 sockets. Its really straight forward. After owning a Bestop for 5 years on a different truck, the simplicity of this design is awesome. Honestly I was surprised how easy it was. There are 2 pieces of weather stripping that come with it. Know one pieces, the black thin piece thats about 3/8 in thick is for up by the cab. The thinner but wide piece with white tape is for the tailgate. Tyger understands Rams... infuriating oversights. I only put this on today, so I plan on updating in a few months.
