It is light to carry and it is very useful when going on a cruise. One note, it does not have a cord that plugs in. The item plugs directly into a wall or electrical outlet, which although it gives you 3 outlets and 3 spots to charge phones or computers, it may take away one space on the wall because the electrical plugs are side by side on some ships. It is not a surge protector, which many cruise lines do not allow.

Used on cruise with no issues

Purchased for our cruise November 11-18-2017. I packed it in it's original box. I was concerned that it would be confiscated by cruise authority as no where on the box or item does it say "Non- surge". With that in mind I bought an extra power strip from Wal mart that also was supposedly non surge. The Ntonpower was still in my suitcase when our luggage arrived at our cabin, but the walmart one was confiscated. We used the Ntonpower strip the entire time we were onboard and I use it at home when we have guests come over and need to charge their phones. The one I purchased is the black and number 6A3U-BK.

Great for a cruise

Got this to go on a cruise. Normally the rooms are low on outlets. The last room we had on a cruise had one outlet my husband and I had to share. This worked perfectly for us to be able to charge all our phones and electronics!

Works great for what I need

I bought this for my bathroom. We have a charging tooth brush, a water flow set and a night light. Too much for our 1950s house with 2 plugs. So far so good. It has a limit of how much energy can be used through it so I haven’t used it with a hair dryer or curling irons. Easy to plug in and out and like the small shelf to stick my phone out of the way while getting ready.

We purchased this to use in our cruise cabin on a Carnival cruise earlier this summer and now it resides near a plant stand in our livingroom, to help us house al of the charging cords for our phones and other items we use frequently.

Great way to add USB charging ports.

I have a couple of these. They stay in the plug nicely, even when a charger or a phone has been placed on the holder. I was initially concerned because the holder is a separate plastic piece, that allows you to switch it from one side to the other depending on the direction of the plug. I do have some plugs that are upside down, so this was a really handy feature, but being a separate piece, I was worried it would push away from the wall, which I was pleasantly surprised has not been an issue. The charges from the USB ports are very quick, and the standard plugs work just fine

We used this for a Caribbean cruise. It worked great! Gave us extra outlets and USB ports for the GoPro and iPhones! Outlets are very limited in a cruise cabin, so this was perfect! Glad we bought it!

Some cruise lines do not allow certain types of power strips, this one is allowed on all ships, I was very happy with the performance. Our cabin had 1 120v outlet, I needed more for the kids stuff and the wife's cell, plus my c-pap. It charged our devices quickly and the cord was long enough to be place in a safe spot. I will now use it at home at our bed side.

Item as described. I purchased this for an upcoming cruise and it says it is not surge protected. Contrary to some one star reviews the item I received is not surge protected and is blood stamped as such. Tested USB port for charging and it works. Hopefully mine won't fail after one or two months as others have posted.
