Better than a pop filter

As a streamer, this thing is invaluable. I have never been a fan of seeing all these people talk into their mics with these awkward pop filters clamped onto their mic stands. Sure, if you're a vocalist who SINGS into the mic, I can see the need for something like that....but for the rest of us, you don't need that goofy looking thing. Sure, I guess to some people it makes your mic setup look "studio quality" but let's face it, it's not needed. This cheap little foam cover does everything that pop filter can do and just slides over the mesh on your YETI mic. 10 seconds to install and you're done FOREVER. No adjusting it or moving it around like pop filters, just set it and forget it. This is coming from someone who bought a fancy pop filter for their last mic and got tired of dealing with it. When I got my YETI a few months ago, I wanted to test this thing out and it worked like a charm. Never again will I mess with a pop filter when you can just put a foam windscreen on. Another thing that people fail to realize with pop filters, is they only protect your mic from wind in ONE DIRECTION. Depending on where you record/stream at, weather and stuff, where your AC vents are, and even ceiling fans...those can mess up a mic with pop filters. Ceiling fans blow air down or pull it up, pop filter can't block that. AC vents blowing down damn sure pick up extra wind sound. How do you avoid that? Get this windscreen! It blocks wind and air from EVERY direction and I've tested it with box fans in the room to see if it could.

Great fit for Yeti Mics

Works PERFECTLY for my Yeti microphone. I have not yet been able to play around with my mic much since attaching this but it fit over the mic with no issues and regained it's form quickly so I don't have any weird dents on the foam now that it's on my mic.

Now I'm not a "professional" who knows what a high quality pop filter looks like. This is the first time I have ever bought one and I'm just getting started with getting into video editing and recording, so I would imagine if you were looking for high quality, my opinion might not be the best one... But, that being said, what I got in the mail was fairly strait forward. No rips or tears or anything. I wouldn't know what a high quality pop filter would feel like but this feels fine to me. It fit my blue yeti just fine and for what I need it for, it does the trick. For the price, this is totally fine, and my audio sounds great to me. I might want to get something better at a later date when I actually know more specifically what I am looking for, but if your someone like me who is just trying to get started I don't see why this wouldn't work for you.

Works and Fits Great, But Be Careful Putting It On

It is very snug for my Blue Yeti mic, so be careful when putting it on. It is very thin, so it could rip easily. However, if you are gentle with it, it fits perfectly and works perfectly.

Microphone Cover Covered My Microphone

This is a great microphone cover. It covered my microphone like no other microphone cover has ever done before. If you're looking for something to cover your microphone, this is the cover for you. Appears well made and of quality material. Would by again if I should find more microphones that need covered.

Muffles the "pop" sounds!

Does the job! My husband needed this in place of the pop filter I got for him for Christmas as it didn't want to stay on properly, but this works like a charm. Streamer husband is happy :) check out Darthuma on Twitch ;)

Perfect for Yeti Mics!

Works PERFECTLY for my Yeti microphone! It blocks out lots of little extra noises that I now don't have to worry about editing out. Now I can have crisp, clear audio and have my ceiling fan on low so I don't die of a heat stroke! yay!
