They're spoons

These are perfect for eating things like soup, pudding, ice cream, cereal, chili & mashed potatoes. They also work really well for stirring things like coffee, tea, chocolate milk & Easy Mac cups. No complaints about these. I bought budget because my family is casual and we somehow lose flatware all the time. These are sturdy enough & smooth around the edges. and work just fine.

Excellent product, excellent price!

I was really pleased to find Hiware. The design is very close to the expensive and old flatware I have. Almost can't tell the difference! Some time back, I ordered the forks (the tines were shorter than expected, but, otherwise, great!), and I decided I needed some more spoons. I really like these: the size of the bowl, the simple design, etc. They arrived on time and went right into the dishwasher! I'll try them with ice cream soon! I'm very happy with Hiware products...especially the price!

Nice Size and Quality

I bought these as a gift for my son and daughter in law to add to their flatware drawer. They can't seem to hold on to spoons. I think the kids must take them all over the house to eat something, and they disappear. These are a simple, generic pattern (no pattern), which will blend nicely with their collection which already has 3 different patterns of teaspoons. I especially like the generous (6.7 inches) size of these teaspoons.

Perfect & Affordable!

Don't know where they all disappear to, like socks in the dryer. Well, needed more teaspoons & ordered these. Very affordable & nice. Perfect length to fit in my silver drawer.

Measures an accurate liquid teaspoon (5ml)

These dinner spoons are a good quality product. They don't quite measure up to my older Oneida spoons, but taking in account the price point they are worth buying. They are a little more lightweight than my other spoons, but that's not a terrible thing. They still feel comfortable in my hand. My spoons came unscratched and were shiny, right out of the package. They wash up well, either when washed by hand or in the dishwasher. In comparison to size, they are a bit larger than my older Oneida spoons (possibly to adapt to our larger appetites?). The length is 8 inches. The well itself measures 2-3/4 inches long and 1-5/8 inches wide. A rounded spoonful of sugar measures just under a tablespoon, but water measures an accurate one teaspoon (5ml). This is useful if you need to take or give some liquid medicine. Overall, these are a great product and I'd purchase again.

Worth the money!

The bowls in these teaspoons are larger than the teaspoons we use now but I like that they are. They are a good replacement for the "everyday" spoons we constantly destroy in the garbage disposal. A bit too big for a "tea cup" or demitasse but just right for a mug of coffee. They are quite substantial and they don't bend under normal use. I noticed another review mentioning they did not have sharp edges but with the ones I received some of the edges feel a bit "sharp", not so sharp that they cut your fingers but I can definitely feel the difference between them and some more expensive ones. Some of them also had machine marked/scratched edges, from a stamping press and sanding I assume, not overly noticeable unless you are looking for it. They're not a replacement for the "good" flatware but work great for everyday use. Fewer stars if they were being compared to some other, more expensive, teaspoons but at under a dollar each that I paid, definitely 5 stars and well worth the money. I'll buy more when it's time.

Exactly what I expected

I was looking for some inexpensive stainless spoons that had some resemblance to my "good" set as my household burns through spoons for cooking, snacks, etc. & my existing second tier spoons were a mix-match collection that I really would not want to put out for company - even casual company. They are more prone to minor scratches & mars than my good stuff, but that is within my expectations for something at this price point. I would buy them again.

Spoons

For the price these are a great replacement for the spoons that have apparently eloped with the missing socks from the washing. I was down to four and looking for an inexpensive replacement without replacing entire everyday set. These fill the bill and are of better quality than I expected. Not easily bent in the ice cream carton, smooth, and actually larger than my original teaspoons, more like soup spoons. Not as thick as Gorham either, but it won't break my heart if they run off too. Two on the left are original, right is replacement.

Good price for good spoons

We needed a few more spoons and it's tough to buy them online as you can't get 'the feel' which is so important....but I gave it a shot as Amazon is so fabulous about returning items. At first I thought these might be off, but they are really quite nice and I like them better than our old spoons now. They are not heavy, but not particularly light. The bow a little differently than I'm used to, but I like the teaspoon size. My new go to spoon. Quite well priced I think....assuming they hold up

10/10 would purchase spoons again

Good quality for great price. I was kind of apprehensive to order due to some of the reviews but went through with it anyways because I needed some smaller spoons. I am very pleased with my order. They are actually small, unlike others I looked at, like a teaspoon should be, but large enough that you can eat with them, too. See the photos for size. I put one of these next to one of my old teaspoon, one next to a larger spoon, and one next to a butter knife for scale, these spoons are the ones on the left hand side for each comparison. I tested one out with ice cream and it stood up to the test. There were no scratches or anything, they came in great condition. Overall, 10/10. I'll update if things change.
