• The Mircoscale Micro Package is for improving the adhesion of the decal. Really pulls the decal down onto the mode
  • Features Setting Solution for decals Softens decals and improves adhesion Decal removerThe Trainz SKU for this item is P11588010
  • It completely softens the decal, allowing it to drape down onto the surface of the model, comforming perfectly to surface irregularities without distortion.
  • The most amazing results in seemingly impossible places are possible because Micro Sol actually makes the decal part of the painted surface.
  • For the best results, first apply micro sol to prepare the surface and enhance the adhesive.

Always worth it. Used with modern decals these two solutions work as advertised. Older decals, from the mid 90s or so back, in kits may tale some extra work to get them to settle properly but this is still better than not using them.

Best stuff around for decals. Not the 'hottest' stuff though so more stubborn decals may not respond. This should be in every modelers arsenal as a basic tool. Set doesn't have any odor but Sol smells like vinegar. It's not lacquer so the fumes won't kill you.

I used to build models all the time when I was younger and thought I was really great at it. I just recently got back into doing it and saw a lot of recommendations for MicroSol and MicroSet. I never realized how much more professional a product could make my models look! This really makes the do cows look like they are part of the actual paint job as opposed to laid down on top of it. I cant say enough about how much I love this stuff and how glad I am that I actually finally got it!

Does exactly what it says follow instructions it gets the job done you don't have to worry about there being issues of it not being lined and centered when you add the decal on when you follow the instructions properly.

After a YouTube video or two showing me how to use it properly, first use of the product is a success. Specifically an Ultramarine shoulder pauldron with a chapter symbol from the transfer sheet that came with the models. After nudging the symbol in place and sealing it on it looks clean and like it was painted on with no bubbles or bulges.

These two solutions are a very effective pair for applying decals, I have read and often utilize the application of an acrylic sealer (Pledge) over flat paint to create a smooth surface before adding the decal. the application of a second layer of pledge and then an overall spray of a flat finish make the decal edges invisible. Micro-soll will wrinkle the decal film so it can settle over protrusions (ie rivets) or settle into dips (ie scale lumber edges. Be sure to never attempt to work with the decal during this stage. It will be destroyed.... I know! Great products. Fast delivery

I'm a beginner... Not even that, less than a beginner in this field. I used to place waterslide decals with plain water, but after giving this product a chance, I noticed some instant improvements! I could not believe how much better decals look after properly using the red solution... I Bought the blue one, but I have not even used the first time... I will try it on my next model. Great buy, I'll buy at least the red one, microsol...

Used these products forever and frankly the amount you get will last forever. These are good products but they are not for the beginner, you have to practice and be careful. Cheaper decals will tear easily but the finished look of a well set decal will make it all worth it. I recommend watching YouTube videos and practicing with crappy models and decals.

I got these solutions for use on my WH40k models. I always had a problem with water transfers falling off or tearing but no longer with this product. Pair this with some clear matte varnish and your transfers become basically indestructible. Make sure you are happy with where you place your decal, because once this stuff sets in, it's very difficult to remove the decal.

I was having a terrible time ripping all of my waterslide decals for my model until I did some research and found this. This is a *must have.* Here's my workflow: — Set the decal in water for 10 seconds, then set aside. — While the decal is loosening, apply Micro Set to the model using a small brush. — Using a toothpick, move the decal from its backing onto the model into the correct position. — Using a q-tip, dab off extra liquid from underneath the decal or the surrounding area. — Let decal rest for a few minutes. — Using a small brush, apply Micro Sol on top of the decal. **Don't try to move the decal at the point! It will rip or deform!** — Let dry, repeating Micro Sol as often as necessary until it adhered to the underlying shape of the model
