They are also built solid and seem to be very good
Purchased for my Smartthings hub because it is Zwave plus. Initially I had to use a generic zwave device handler but the folks here said they would write a custom DH to take advantage of its specific design features. I've been using the generic handler now for several months without issue. An email came today with all the necessaries to install their custom DH. I just finish the process and will now monitor. since I've owned this sensor I can say I have had NO false alarms (unlike my Iris V2 sensors). They are also built solid and seem to be very good quality

Works Great
I am using this device with a RaspberryPi and a zwave stick running Home Assistant. I switched to this from a motion detector that was mounted in a corner. I use it to turn on the kitchen lights. It works really well as it is 360 degrees. I had no problems getting it to pair with my controller. I plan to buy a couple of more of these. It shows up as a binary sensor in zwave.

Excellent!
First of all, BeSense tech support is excellent! I've tried a lot of z-wave motion sensors with a Smartthings hub and BeSense are the best. Sensor are designed to be placed on the ceiling and pet immunity works very well, no false alarm. Overall easy to setup and install with a Smartthings, great buy. Again and again... tech support is excellent and pro! I’m very happy with this Company.

Great, cheap sensor
Connected it to my z-wave based Home Assistant server, and it just worked. Seems to have a 1-2 min cooldown after triggered, which is perfect for my uses. As far as pet immunity, it is mounted in our entry way from the garage, directly above our cat's litter box, and I have not seen it false alarm once. Overall, great buy. Only thing that would make it better was if it measured temperature or light levels

Works great with Smartthings V1 hub and ST SmartApps
Works great with Smartthings V1 hub. Have not been invited to convert to Samsung Connect so using Classic ST interface. Both devices quickly connected with ST hub that was 15 ft away. Once connected, I logged into my Smartthings IDE site per the included instructions (https://graph.api.smartthings.com/) to change the Device Handler Type drop-down list to "Z-Wave Plus Motion/Temp Sensor". The instructions included with the BeSense products, and found at the BeSense website, are easy to follow. Yes, you need to create a free account at the ST IDE site if you don't have one. I have 2 BeSense ceiling mount units mounted outside in Michigan weather. One is under front porch entry ceiling and one under 4 season porch over walk-out slider entry. Neither unit is subject to rain, snow, direct sun or moisture. One is about 40 ft away from the ST hub. Jumpers are set on FULL for fastest reset between alerts and PLUS2 default sensitivity. No false alerts since purchasing 2 weeks ago. Do no have enough time to evaluate battery life. Both units use SmartApp's to trigger 'things' such as porch lights, a doorbell siren and push notifications to cell phones. No problems. Great product that I would recommend and buy again.

Very Reliable!
I purchased it to monitor a hallway. It was very easy to link to Smartthings. I did have to use custom settings to make it work with my security system but that's a personal preference. Smartthings apparently recognizes it as an open/close sensor (open when it detects motion). It really doesn't affect anything. It has given no false alarms and triggers the alarm system flawlessly. I'd recommend it. UPDATE: Thank you Jeff, I followed your link and now it is fully recognized as a motion sensor by Smartthings. It made a product I am happy with already even better!

Amazon sells a used/returned/opened product as new. BeSense tech support is excellent.
i purchase the sensor to replace an X10 sensor/switch combination in our kitchen as a part of our smart home modernization project. The product came with 2 AA batteries already installed, making me believe it had been opened and put in use. But I accepted it because this kind of devices consume very little power and batteries are supposed to last year-long, in addition to wanting to avoid hassle. I tried to make it recognized by a SmartThings hub, but I could not. I could not figure out why and how from the printed manual. I asked BeSense for help on their web site. Two days after, I received an email for how to reset the device to the factory default state by pressing the internal switch rapidly 6 times. Then everything went well. Yes. I certainly believe the device was put in use to run in the previous user's network before coming to me, and this is why I had to factory-reset it. Anyway, the sensor detects entering to the kitchen and automatically turns on the lights between and dust and dawn, while allowing human presence simulation with automatic timed operation when in the AWAY mode. This is perfectly what I wanted to implement. The sensor flashes red LED when it detects motion, which may be too much and somewhat annoying.

Purchase with confidence! Works great + Outstanding Customer Service
I purchased 2 of these units to use in conjuction with my Samsung Smart Hub. The pairing process was very easy and took less than a minute to complete. You will want to sign into your hub and update the Device Handler to take full advantage. The response time from the sensor unit to the hub is extremely quick..... Less than 1 second in most cases. After I received the unit the seller followed up via Email to ask for feedback on my satisfaction. I initially found that the coverage area was as I had expected so I mentioned that in my reply. After a bit of troubleshooting the seller replied back offering to send me a Wall Unit to test out instead. The Wall unit worked great so he offered to replace both ceiling Sensors that I had purchased with the wall unit model at no additional cost for the units or for shipping. Needless to say if you aren't happy for any reason, this seller has outstanding customer service and you will be taken care of. This product does work great, and I ended up using it in a different application scenario; the wall sensor was better for the application I was initially working on. So..... If you have any doubt, fear no more..... Buy this product with confidence that it works great and you will also be backed by the seller for any reason if you are unsatisfied.

Out of the 10+ Zwave & Zigbee products compatible with Smartthings, This motion sensor was the best and easiest to connect/use.
I love the be-sense sensors! I don’t get false alarms and I love that they take regular batteries that don’t drain quickly. This was really easy to set up because it came with simple and effective directions. I have bought and tried to connect so many Smartthings in the last month and I haven’t always succeeded. I actually just bought a Wink hub to see if life could be easier with Wink. Now I have three hubs and a bucket of smart home devices that I have yet to muster up the patience to re-try connecting. They have never been connected to my smart home because they are testy, buggy, and just not user friendly. It’s ironic that a little company can get it so right when huge companies get it so wrong. After communicating with be-sense I can vouch for their customer service, know how, and design expertise.

Five Stars
Great Motion Sensor. I took a chance on it when it had no reviews and it's my new favorite. I wish I could find any cons; however, I can't find any. One item of note, when used with Smart Things, it will pair as a door sensor. Once added, log into the Smart Things developer backend and change to a motion sensor and it works great.
