Best for the money
I am very happy with the feel of the keys. It has numerous MIDI controls Where else can you get a great MIDI, MIDI over USB with 88 keys, and all these controls I love it.

What Can I Say?
I was looking for a keyboard that satisfied a lot of angles for me - 88 keys, assignable faders and buttons, and low price. This Nektar LX88+ product didn't disappoint. I've been hammering away at it for two weeks now, using it mainly with Cubase 7 as well as several standalone synths from Arturia. I did have a sound problem in the beginning that I thought was because of this keyboard, but I later realized it was the power supply (!) of my laptop that was the culprit. In any case, I'm back to doing what thus keyboard was intended for - practicing my piano skills and sequencing dance music. So far it's held up well. I'm glad I bought it.

Its 88 keys and light.
Was looking for a 88 midi light weight keyboard in 2018. Still had to settle for older technology which was still relevant. This Nektar was still the most relevant even though it's a couple of year back. Overall it still had what I needed at a great price. Not trying to be technical about the feel of the keys and the arrangement of the build. If you can play keyboards you can play any of them and still jam. I'm just built like that. Satisfied.

Great midi controller
First of all having a full size piano keys is a must if you do any kind of music production , Second for the price and all the features of this controller, simply can't be beat.

88 keys - less than 20 lbs. costs less than $350. Great service. Here’s your ax!
2nd update: the pitch wheel began acting erratically. Contacted Nektar. There was an easy fix —- moving the pitch wheel back and forth very quickly. Seems to have solved the problem! If that had not worked- they had another fix: sending a new pitch wheel assembly which they said was easy to install. Nice! So i’m Very satisfied — thanks Nektar I am reinstating my 5 stars! Original review: Very solid build - easy to integrate with your DAW. I have Komplete 11 Ultimate and work with Cubase and Reaper. I was using another keyboard workstation that didn't integrate very easily with Komplete. The Nektar is a dream! I read one review (not on Amazon) that the keys were about 1/2 inch shorter than normal piano. Maybe? I've been playing pop and rock piano since I was about 8 and now I'm 60 - and it feels really good to me! Some people complained about the black keys, but they feel good to me - and the velocity feels even. The sliders for Organ drawbars - work flawlessly! The knobs connect to all aspects of your VSTs. It does not have hammer action, so if you must have that - it won't be what you want. But if you’re looking for a board that has 88 keys - weighs less than 20 lbs. and costs less than $350…here’s your ax!

Despite the keys, I’ve grown to love it!
When I first got this I felt so let down by the lack of any sort of weights in the keys, despite the description, that I immediately wrote a one star review. Over the next couple of weeks, I started messing around with it and discovered that this is an extremely high quality controller. The functionality of this thing is incredible. With the right setup you can make this thing sound like a real Steinway, Yamaha, Rhodes, Hammond, Moog, you name it. This is a controller and your sound is going to come entirely from your computer and sound system. I bought this because I wanted to start seriously playing keys in a band without dropping thousands on a Nord, Roland, etc. I hook this up to my laptop. The laptop is hooked up to a Scarlett sound card, which is hooked up to a Yorkville M8 85 watt powered mixer and two PA speakers. It sounds badass. Considering that I planned to use this in a serious project, I was disappointed in the spring loaded keys. It really didn’t turn out to be an issue, as the keys have great dynamics. Hooked up to a good sound card and a PA, I can hold my own in a large band with two guitars, two drummers, and horns. It’s totally sufficient until I can afford a better live rig. The live sound is just one aspect of it. When hooked up to a DAW and a good sound system this thing can turn you into a one man band. The included Bitwig software is damn good. I’m going to buy the full license since it’s way way way cheaper than ableton and as far as I can tell every bit as good. The keyboard integrates seamlessly. Recording, arranging, and playing back loops is the part I’m still figuring out. I’m getting the hang of it and I can tell that after climbing the learning curve I’ll be able to do awesome stuff with live looping using this as a controller. Now that I’ve had this thing for almost a month and learned to use it, it’s earned an enthusiastic 5 stars.

WOW! Solidly built, easy setup! I'm blown away in just a few short hours post delivery. Using it with Logic Pro and all the functionality works! Registered the product on the Nektar website, downloaded the installer for Logic Pro, and it just worked. I had an M-Audio controller for the past 2 years the NEVER worked right and the build was just not anywhere close to the Nektar Impact. I could not be happier with this controller. (Julia's husband)

Very good. Middling construction value (but what do you expect for the cheapest 88 key controller out there). Keys do feel great however. That's what's important. Integration with FL studio was seamless and easy. (More advanced custom integration is not easy, but that's the fault of FL not the controller) I will say when I was playing the entertainer i notice a small knock/rattle in the keyboard when you play an octave. (the lower key will rattle a slight bit). If you have headphones on you don't notice. If you don't you might. Otherwise, as a first time 88 key buyer who mostly plays ragtime and produces, it is a very solid keyboard. Also if you are using this with your computer it requires no power plug, usb power is enough!

Great keyboard!
Great keyboard!! Will update when I have used it for awhile longer, my only complaint is that the springs in the keys are a little noisy but it feels nice, solid build, knobs, keys and pads feel sturdy seems like a good keyboard for the price.

For less expensive Midi options you can't go wrong.. I'm getting into digitally recording music and I'm used to traditional pianos. The semi weighed keys are a learning curve but not a steep one. Connected right up to my iMac. No installation needed.. Great piece of hardware in my opinion.. Lol don't know enough to review further than that. Buttons and dials feel great and sturdy. Keys are sensitive to how hard to play them. Drum pad is pretty cool not entirely sure how to use it.. But its very responsive played double time and it handle it on multiple pads. I'm loving it so far.
