I have both the small and larger version. This breeder box is working out great, it is a simple design and the air attachment keeps a constant flow of fresh water through the box. Being inside the tank keeps the temperature constant and eliminates the possibility of hitting it and knocking it off the tank. The small box is great for Endlers and works fine if placed where there is flow to one of the sides.

This is my first breeder box so I cant really compare with other brands. That being said, My fish just had a batch of fry and every single one are doing great! I didn't have any problems with fry getting stuck in the slots and the fish didn't seem under any stress. I highly recommend this product, simple and easy to use!

Great thing to have when you unexpectedly find fry in your aquarium. I just removed the middle piece and let the fry have the entire area to explore. It is a bit small, though. However, it works as a temporary home for my fry. It makes it easy to keep an eye on them throughout the day. Love that! It's very simple to assemble and keeps the fry safe.

Much sturdier than my last one!

It's a decent size for an internal breeder box. I didn't have the space for an external one. The plastic is much thicker than the last box I bought for the same price. The only piece even remotely broken was the air tube input, and it only had a tiny chip in the end of the piece that goes inside- so it's still 100% functioning and doesn't affect anything. The box can be split into two pieces, as in the top non slitted part and the bottom with the slits. The WW piece is easy to remove, and the lid is easy to take off (my last one was NOT). I do suggest leaving the lid above the waterline, however, as it has two holes. I used it for newborn myatery snails, and when I moved them, I put my black molly into it. She doesn't seem very stressed, honestly, and likes to nap in the V's. It also has very soft, silicone suction cups, meaning they dont pop off if you so much as walk past the tank wrong like the harder vinyl ones. All in all, a great purchase. Very glad I bought it.

I purchased this breeder box because my molly fish had babies and ate them this works well the babies fall to the bottom and she cannot get to them.

Works as intended however the slots were a little too big for my baby Mickey Mouse fry ( no fault of the seller or manufacturer ) The suction cups were adequate and held the breeder on to the glass fairly well.

Great box for babies

Breeder box arrived just in time! I put three pregnant females in the box immediately. They seemed scared at first but calmed down after about 30 minutes. Two days later and we have about 20 babies swimming in the bottom part of the box. It actually works! Looking forward to having more babies now that we don't have to worry about them being eaten.

Perfect breeding and growing tank!

This is better that it's description! My fry are safe and I placed a few plants for them to hide in. They have a lot of room to grow. The plastic is made very well.

It is the best breeder box I have seen

It is the best breeder box I have seen. I also am using it as a temporary hold also when I need to isolate a fish from the other fish but do not want to remove the fish from the tank. The suction hold the box well.

Must have for Platy

This product is awesome! If you have Platies or guppies this is a must have. I now have 15 baby dwarf platies thriving and their mom is healthy. Just watch out for the suction cups. They will normally stay but one time I came home and the box was on the bottom of the tank! Luckily nobody was in the box when it fell. Overall great product. :)
