My 3-year-old son absolutely loves this Radio Flyer tricycle. He rides it everyday and never seems to get tired of it. He's had other tricycles, but this is by far his favorite one. It arrived in a frustration-free box so there was no extra box, foam, zip ties, etc. to deal with. The assembly took us about half an hour and was easy to do. It has a sturdy steel frame and durable rubber tires, which we expect will last a long time. The adjustable seat has two settings, which is currently on the lowest height so it'll grow with him as he grows taller. He's able to reach the pedals without issue. He's about 40 inches tall and 32 pounds. The seat also sits in an upright position, which I think gives him confidence and comfort while he's riding. The double deck in the back is also great for another child to sit or stand on. His 1 1/2 year old brother loves to sit on the back of it. As far as looks, we love the bright red color and classic style. The streamers on the handle bars make it look fast and cool, but I have to say the old-fashioned ringing bell is the coolest feature of all. My son can't get enough of it and loves to go up and down the street ringing the bell. Even the neighbors can't help but smile. If you're looking for a wow gift that will bring pure joy to your little one, this is the perfect choice.

I saw a lot of negative reviews on this tricycle but thought I'd give it a try anyway. I'm glad I did. There were complaints of rough edges that can cut. All the edges on the trike I bought were nice & smooth & painted. No sharp edges at all. Also there were complaints of bent metal parts. I had no issues with that either. It seems to be a high quality tricycle that my grand daughter will enjoy for years to come. It's still a little big for her. She just turned two & is on the smaller side but she should grow into it soon enough. It was definitely her favorite gift.

Just put it together for my toddler’s Xmas gift. She hasn’t seen it but I had somebody else’s 2.5 year old try it out. They are about the same height and she can reach the pedal. I think when my kid was 2, she would have been just a little too short. She’s in the 60-70% for height to give you an perspective. The instructions were clear and it took me maybe total of 20 mins to put it together. No professional tools needed. Just basic ones like wrench, hammer, and screw driver. It came with an extra piece that I actually ended up using because I skipped over something in the instructions. I’m guessing they included it because I’m not the only one that messed up and potentially had to ask for an extra part. It’s very good quality and I think it will last for many years to come. Can’t wait for my toddler to unwrap this. She’s going to freak! Edit: May 2019 My kid is now 3 and a few months. Her feet can reach the pedal comfortably now. She could have before but she had to have proper shoes and sit leaning forward. The wheels squeak a lot when used. Maybe I just need to use BD-40?

It is nearly six months since I got this for my 3 year old granddaughter. I could not keep myself from adding my review to the already available many good reviews. It is sturdy, easy to ride. Initially it took her one month to get adjusted, but now there no place where she does not want to go on her tricycle. She also has an equally priced better looking plastic tricycle gifted by her parents which she does not touch now. Just one line - this is a perfect tricycle for 3-4 year old. Children will enjoy and you will be satisfied.

The tricycle is built well and the instructions were easily understood. We had one issue. The box arrived battered and torn. There was one place where the tricycle was actually exposed and the paint somewhat scratched. I was afraid that I would have to return it but my son was able to build the tricycle in such a way that it does not show at first glance. I believe the engineers who designed the packaging need to take another look and improve the structure and strength of the box.

Everyone loved this tricycle. Bought for my 3 1/2 Grandson almost 4amd seat is perfect height at lowest setting. He was in seventh heaven and we had to time the length of play he and his 2 yr old sister had to play with it. The bell is easy for little fingers to push and engage . There is 2 levels of standing rack for different heights of children to get a back ride. The trike is extremely well made with a shiny red and slightly creamy. Olour to some parts for contrast. This gives it a classy look. He drove it all around the house as we just had a snowstorm but he can't wait to drive it outside. The frame is longer than the old one we kept of his Dads which also was a red rider , This older one he rode even though the seat screws were shot and it was a bit all Parents bought him a 2 wheeler with trainers but he prefers the trike. Kids are moved along too quickly into bikes when they can have more fun with a trike , pulling his sister in the wagon after hitching it on the back. I highly recommend this trike as it provides hrs of fun and exercise. So glad you still make tried and true toys and active gear like this.

Good quality, perfect shade of pink. Easy to assemble. My granddaughter was so excited. Easy to ride for her. She’s 3 yrs old . It’s all metal, no cheap plastic. It will last forever. I would definitely recommend it.

Ok. Don't let the shipping box fool you. There is an entire trike in it. Took less than 15 min to assemble with simple tools. I was so happy to find this is exactly as the one I had in the 60's except for the seat adjustment. All metal construction and hard rubber tires. We got this for our grandson who turned 2 just before Christmas so he's just a little short to ride this by himself but he can get on it by himself. I see this getting passed down to his future brothers or sisters.

My 2 year old loved it at first sight. Legs just long enough for him to pedal. Started peddling immediately after watching big brother (3yrs old) ride his bike with training wheels and his urgency to ride was well rewarded. I had trouble getting him off of it once he started. Well built and easy to put together and arrived right on time. I just couldn't get over how quickly he began to pedal and ride it. Thanks Radio Flyer!

This classic never disappoints! We bought our 3 year old twin granddaughters matching pink radio flyers, it is adorable witching them ride. Please step up and buy this classic radio flyer and don’t waste your money on a cheaper plastic alternative, you will see the joy in you children’s faces. Our granddaughters have the plastic alternatives, they don’t ride the same. When they received the radio flyer classic they don’t play with the plastic alternative anymore.
