MUST HAVE FOR SECURE PINS!!!
Originally, I bought this because I lost one of my pins on my backpack and knew of locking pin backs, but they went for around $9 - $10 on this other site, so I went to Amazon and got these instead. Getting these pin holders have been a hassle to figure out how to put on a enamel pin and taking it off, but after figuring it out via a YouTube video, it’s super easy to put on, as you can just snap it on (push it inwards to put on a pin) and to take it off, you need some nails to pull it up (photo attached) and use another finger to pull it down to take it off. I’m really grateful that the seller INCLUDES a case for pin backs to go inside because I wanted to replace all my backings with these locking pin backs, so I can have a nice way to properly store all of these backings. Another great thing is the price because as I mentioned before, most would go for a higher price (around $9 - $10), but this is a great price to go for secure pin backings with a case. Overall, I’d definitely recommend this product, but the only “downside” is that it’s a bit tough to pull it out to take the backing off, but when you get the hang of it, it’s not a big problem.

Don’t lose another pin again!
The only reason why I’m writing a review is because I see a lot of reviews and questions written by people with Disney pins. I understand the collector aspect of these pins as the pins I have are limited edition pins as well. As you can see from my pins I’m a metalhead that wears what is called a battle jacket. On these jackets we have patches and pins galore. If you have ever seen what a mosh pit looks like you know it can be brutal in the pit. The last thing you want is for the pins on your jacket to lose their backing and stab you (yes this happens) OR fall off! I put these backs on all my pins and not only did they lock-on as the name says they press close to the pin so the pins stay put and don’t spin! The shamrock, bus and wolf pins only have one post so they would all spin with the basic metal backings they came with. By the end of the night they would be upside down. Be warned if you are going to use these once you lock them in, they don’t move. This is a HUGE plus once I got these set up to how I wanted them and locked these backs in, boom done! Another bonus was my Nukem pin which at one point lost the plastic backing so I replaced it with the standard metal backing. Which mangled the post because I lost a metal backing at a show it must have spun around and held on for dear life because I didn’t lose it but it did mangle the post pretty bad. As you can see in the picture all the black paint was ground off and those standard metal backings never really held on correctly after and I would lose them repeatedly. These locked on and I have to pull pretty hard to get them to separate. Note it still separates BUT it doesn’t just fall off which is what it used to do with the standard backs and you really have to get your fingers under it and pull. As for this specific product/brand I used about 20 of these backs and so far all of them work the way they were suppose to with no duds. All of them are sturdy, zero complaints here, money well spent!

Perfect for jackets
I like wearing pins on my jackets but butterfly pin clasps are terrible and sometimes causes me lose my pins at concerts. These locks completely prevent my pins from falling off even when a lot of movement is involved. I like that it comes with a little case too.

Protect your pins :)
I bought these for the intention of securing pins on my backpack. Out of the 40 there was one that did not lock. The other 39 where fine, they are a little tricky to grt off and at first I thought it was broken, but it was fine. I will be using these for Disneyland in the future. I also recommend using an Ita bagbif youre supper protective of your pins. :)

So much better than a clutch fastener
In all the years I have been in uniform (7th grade to now), ~25 years, I have lost countless "clutch type fasteners." In the military we called them "da#@ its" due to the frequency that they fall off. I think we have all resorted to stealing erasers from the tops of pencils in a pinch. I decided to try these out. They are so much better. I have not had one come off yet. In fact they can be difficult to get off sometimes. That is GREAT! I highly recommend them. These fit standard military / law enforcement nametag pins.

These keep my small army of pins safe on my backpack... also read this review if you need help removing the backers.
I never thought of myself as an enamel pin collector... until I had amassed a small army of enamel pins, and realized that the world needs to see them. I then realized that I should amass a small army of locking pin backs, so that I don't lose any of my precious pins. (My favorite so far being Pickle Rick.: Pickle Rick, I Turned Myself Into A Pickle Morty - 1.75" Glow In the Dark Enamel Pin ) These pin backs come with no instruction manual, so you have to just do what feels right... put the pin where you want it to go, press the pin back on. It's important that you have the pin in the exact location and direction you want it facing, since it will be stuck that way. To remove these pin backs, use your fingernails to grip on to the teeny little "lip" on the edge of the pin back, and pull straight out. There's a little spring in there that will release the pin back... it may take a few tries, but it's a lot simpler than some other locking pin backs that either don't cover the poky bits completely (so you'd need to file them down), or require a specifically-sized Allen Key to get them off. I also like that the pin backs come with a little compartmentalized plastic case; I use it to keep the original pin backs, just in case.

Great for the 5-0
My local uniform shop charges two dollars for each of these pins. This is a great deal, and they are the same exact pins. I have tried many different styles, but I believe hold in place the best. I use them for all the different pins I have on my uniform

Great
I was sooo upset. The backs that come with pins suck. Big time. I lost count of how many pins I have lost because their backs don’t do their job. After I mentioned it to a friend she told me about these. Since I got them I put a bunch of pins on my bag and have them there for a month now. Haven’t lost one single one!!! Sooo happy!!! Now! The only problem is that I still haven’t figured out how to take them out lol

Keeps your Disney pins secure!
I ordered these because I needed secure pin backs for my Disney pins and came across these. Very good quality and keeps my pin secure, also very easy to use. Although they didn't include instructions in the package, they are on the description in the listing. Just push it into the pin to secure it, and if you need to remove it just pull the "rim" of the "hat". I inspected each one and the set was complete, one of the backs were stuck but that issue was resolved. I am very happy with this product and I definitely recommend these as opposed to the locking backs they sell at Disney, which are way overpriced and requires a key. These are the best value and I will be purchasing more in the future as my pin collection grows

A MUST FOR LANYARDS!
This is an absolute must if you wear pins on your lanyards and don't want to lose them. I didn't lose any pins with these backings. It fit for my Disney pins, Disney Store Japan pins, and Fantasy pins...so it could probably fit most pins. Getting them off takes just a tiny bit of practice. I basically hold down the base, while I pull the top back and pull the pin off at the same time. I'm actually going to order more of these. It's way better than the one where you need a tool...as those are just hard to deal with and also damage the needle sometimes. I highly recommend this product.
