Great little scale with many useful features
Great little scale. I use it for my coffee needs. I really like the fact that you could adjust the idling time so I don't have to worry about it shut off in the middle of my measuring, like doing pour over. I need a scale has large range and accuracy to 0.1 so I can do pour over on the scale occasionally. I mainly use it for espresso grinds but it's nice to have a scale that is capable to do pour over too. It's tiny and stylish. The black one just look as good as the Hario one with less than half the cost.

Great Quality
This little scale is the most accurate and incredibly awesome product ever. I hate to say it but I wasn't expecting too much, but the fact that it can measure a fraction of a gram for the price is incredible. It is on the small side, so just be aware if you are putting a large Chemex or something on it- it shouldn't be an issue, it has worked for everything I need.

Seems accurate
Seems accurate. I use it to weigh ground coffee for an espresso machine. Target is 17g. It helps to get accuracy to 0.1 grams to accurately reproduce espresso shots. The platform is a little small. It would be easier to use it the scale was a little larger. I tested the accuracy using US coins. If you google "weight of us coins" you will get a list. I used several coins and got the expected weights. Summary, use new shiny coins. Worn coins are a little lighter. Cent (since 1983) - 2.500 g. Nickel (since 1866) - 5.000 g. Dime (since 1965) - 2.268 g. Quarter (since 1965) - 5.670 g

Worth every penny!
I've owned three other kitchen scales, and of them have had various annoying issues. Not so with this one. This is a great little scale. Responsive buttons, fast results, and accurate right out of the box. I weighed a nickel first thing, and it was exactly 5g as it should be. I love that it measures fractions of grams and ounces too. I'm very happy with it.

UPDATED: Nice size, works as intended
The product description refers to SMART BUTTON FUNCTIONS and states the T and M buttons allow you to change the auto turn-off time to 60", 120", 180", and 0 for off. Twice reps from Amir told me the same thing, but this scale DOES NOT allow you to change the auto turn-off time. When the rep Kelly emailed me the same instructions that were posted in the Q&A above, I told her those instructions didn't work. I have tried for 2 weeks now to get another response with correct instructions, but my emails have gone ignored. The scale also DOES NOT alert me to uneven surface placement. The scale is fine for my needs, but I wouldn't buy it again simply because the product description is inaccurate and the seller has absolutely ZERO interest in making it right (i.e., poor customer service). I would return it, but I do like the size as it fits nicely in my kitchen toolbox. UPDATE 10/3/16: Amir sent me the correct instructions, so now I am able to disable auto turn-off. Since this is why I bought the scale, apart from it's perfect size, I can say I'm happy now.

Well-built, accurate and responsive scale!
I had previously purchased a different digital scale for measuring coffee for brewing; I found that a 1g accuracy wasn't quite good enough, and I wanted a quicker "response" from the scale as I added beans/grounds to the scale. I purchased this scale in search of the above qualities; so far, it's met my criteria quite nicely. The accuracy to a tenth of a gram helps me ensure I'm using the same or intended amount of beans/grounds each time, and the scale is much quicker to pick up changes than my previous scale. The device itself is well-constructed and functions perfectly so far. I appreciate the plastic cover(s) it came with, so I can cover and store it after each use. It's just the right size to fit a coffee mug or 34 oz french press, and the TARE function makes it easy to use different containers to hold what you want to measure. Unless it breaks without warning suddenly, it's exactly what I needed for coffee brewing (I did see that it has a 12-month warranty, so I can be somewhat reassured that the manufacturer stands behind the product).

my body weight is pretty slim but my body fat is high
I am working hard on staying in shape & healthy recently...maybe gain a few pound of lean muscle & lose the fat. My brother told me that I need to watch my protein intake. I am a big fan on carbs....yes evil carbs. I can just eat carbs all day long with some vegetables. I don't need meat. Therefore, my body weight is pretty slim but my body fat is high....which means my shape is not good. I bought this scale to measure my protein in take daily & it's a perfect size. It's so small that I can just put in the utensil drawer & ready for me for me meal prep everyday. I think it's a bit smaller for baking needs, but it's perfect for everyday use. I use this to measure my chicken breast/vegetables/carbs. You can choose g/oz/ct...etc. Very useful...even though all I need is oz. It's very easy to use as well.

Accurate, portable and easy to use
I already had a digital scale for the kitchen but I bought this because I wanted something with a higher degree of accuracy to the decimal. I've been impressed with this little scale. My calibration weight shows it is still accurate, even though I've packed it up in my luggage and traveled with it several times. It's small and light and convenient to use. It can also handle a good amount of weight - the product listing says up to 3000g and I have never come close to hitting that as I weigh out ingredients for recipes and portions for my meals. If you want to weigh ingredients for recipes, or if you are logging your calories and want to use the scale to monitor your portions, this is a great scale to buy. Good bang for your buck here.

Scale works great. Scale is relatively small
Scale works great. Scale is relatively small, but it comes with two different sized plastic tops which you can place on the scale that provide a lip to weigh odd sized objects or put large bowls onto. Then when you are done you flip them over and they act like a cover for the scale. The 3kg capacity and .01g accuracy is better than most scales at this price point. With this upgrade I can finally make an entire batch of bread in one bowl without measuring the ingredients in 500g (or smaller) increments like I had to with my old scale.

This scale is really small and accurate with a 6.6 pound capacity that is adequate for kitchen applications .
This scale works great if you weigh into mixer bowls, one liter or smaller measuring cups or into quart or half gallon mason jars. It is too small to be used to weigh onto a plate so get a larger 5KG scale if you want to weigh onto plates. It can be used to weigh onto clear pyrex pie plates or similar clear glassware that are larger than its 4X4 inch measuring surface but be aware that this makes it very difficult to use the tare function or weigh opaque items because the readout and tare button are under the plate. The 6.6 pound capacity is sufficient for most kitchen applications and the .01 OZ or .1 g precision is sufficient for almost any application. Anyone who wants to weigh drugs may prefer the extra digit of precision of a 500 g scale but they don't have the capacity to be useful for kitchen applications.
