This thing is a CHAMP!

I took this on a trip to the UK, in the middle of a winter storm with 60 MPH + winds. It DID. NOT. BUDGE. In fact, there were times I didn't open it and have it with me because it would have Mary Poppins'd me with it before collapsing. The *only* con, and it's not even enough to take away from the quality, just something to be aware of, is that it can be difficult to close. Highly recommend overall.

Great little umbrella

It's been raining for the past couple of days with periods of heavy rain and gusty winds -- This little umbrella has withstood all that impeccably. The canopy, when opened, is large enough to provide sufficient cover for my large frame (5' 10" & 140lbs) and it easily folds up small enough to stow into my backpack. It's a great lightweight umbrella backed by an even better warranty. I highly recommend it!!

Apears to be a quality product

This looks like a quality product. Opens and closes firmly and generates a nice sized canopy. Also appears to be sturdy in construction. Of course time will tell if it holds up to use. The only negative is that it could be lighter and collapse to a smaller size. But that is probably the trade off for its open size and solid construction.

I'm impressed

Very well built umbrella. And great price! Not your standard umbrella. If it holds up to me using it, it is better than most. I break everything that is not of a superior build. Had it most of the summer, we will see if it continues to hold up.

Great umbrella

Although I've only had this umbrella a short while, it has been raining here a lot, and I like this umbrella better than others I have had. It feels more substantial than the cheap umbrellas I see in stores. I like that when I push the button to retract the umbrella, the folded umbrella stays extended up the shaft, making it less likely to spray me with water when it closes.

Good choice

I've had this umbrella for almost 2 years, and it's stood up to the elements really well. Particularly in wind, I have had good luck with this umbrella not flipping the wrong way. The buttons to open and close are really convenient. As other reviewers have mentioned, if you push the button to collapse the canopy you will still need to push the umbrella back down into the handle to fully close it to its smallest size. I find that this actually takes a bit more muscle than you might expect, but overall it feels pretty sturdy for its size, so no complaints. One of the metal spokes that holds up the umbrella finally broke recently, but I was impressed that the seller was quick to honor their replacement guarantee. I would definitely recommend this product.

Great Umbrella!

Opens and closes really easily and quickly. The umbrella is a great (large) size, despite being small enough to take just about anywhere, when it's closed-up. It could easily fit in a large purse or tote. Really nice umbrella, and windproof, too!

a good umbrella, a nice color. sturdy!

expands quickly, keeps you dry, great color (sultry red, not too orangy!!) I really appreciate that the handle is "wide" enough for my hand and comfortable to hold for some time. Would suggest to others. Only downside is that it is bit heavy (but sturdy!) and long-ish even when compact, as in it does not fit into most of my purses... but a backpack or messenger bag is fine.
