Water Coloring Brush Pens You'll LOVE!!
Ohuhu Water Coloring Brush Pens, I have a friend who owns one of these brushes, I was in so much awe of how well it works! So happy with this purchase!! I've been waiting to get these brush pens!! I love them so much, I find that they work much better than normal paint brushes, you simply fill the tubes with water and dip the now-wet brushes into your watercolor palette. Not much cleaning necessary, occasionally wiping off the brush tips would help not to accidentally mix colors. I painted this picture of Shima from Kiss Him, Not Me for my cousin's birthday. The pens allow for adding light layers and then going over them for highlights and shadows. Definitely a fantastic buy!! Thank you, Ohuhu!! :)

Very happy with these pens!
I really like these water brush pens. I find them very convenient to keep in the case with my watercolor pencils. I like the variety of brush tips in this set. They seem to be just the right mix of types and sizes. They pens are easy to fill, they do not leak and the caps stay on securely, protecting the brush tips. For my purpose (small journal painting) the pens hold more than enough water. I think they will be great to take when traveling. I recommend these pens.

Awesome water pens
I'd underestimated these since the bristles seemed so thick and coarse, thinking it wasn't adequate for the supple brushes that watercolors tend to work best with. I was wrong, when wet the bristles become very soft and supple, and you can control the waterflow as you paint. There's so much control here, with such a beautiful effect. I can't help but recommend this for everyone, especially those that like to take their journals on the road and paint outside.

Great size, works wonderfully, the price for one water brush in any art store.
They are very long, which is how I like my brushes. The bristles are very soft and capable of any stroke you need (even dry strokes). My only "complaint" is when you want to swap colors you may need a separate jar of water anyways, or you end up wasting the water held in the brush. But that could be user error on my part, I am still practicing.

Easy transport and cleanup- great for testing the waters of watercolor
I love these brushes! I was left some watercolor from my late grandmother and was so intimidated about trying it. These brushes made it wonderful to take her portable paints and sketchbook and sketch out what I got to see. You are able to control the water flow very easily with these making it easy to have thicker paint or a more watered down paint. Cleaning is a breeze as you just squeeze the brush while wiping on a paper towel. I had no issues with the paint brushes leaking as they have a cap and I also transport them in the package they came in. If you are thinking about starting watercolor or starting urban sketches this is such a helpful thing.

Great quality lots of fun
So I bought these because I was curious what way I could use these the best. I wanted to try using them to blend my water color pencils and crayons I have, I also was curious if they would be useful for travel painting. And I’d like to say they work well with my pencils/crayons they are super handy and make blending really quick and easy. I also found they work just as well with my Water color palette. I have not used them with wet water color in the tube, or with liquid watercolor inside the cylinder of the brush instead of water, but I am looking forward to trying. I did not notice that these were hard to clean like some people have complained. If you switch colors with the same brush constantly maybe this will be an issue. But a seasoned artist knows to not get the paint all the way up the bristles if there is an appropriate amount of paint for the desired area, the brush comes clean on its own. With water coming through. I also just release water into the head and wipe clean easily on a towel. Even with black on the top of the white hair it came totally clean. Con to these brush pens are they are harder to control than a standard brush. the amount of water can be hard to control at first but with practice it can be controlled. It will never be as controlled as a standard brush. So these are not good for detail work. Pro to the control issue it makes it more interesting to have less control. Can give you a new look or style to your work, and it’s always fun for me to try something different. I would go for them if you wanna try something new and if you like water color pencils or painting on the go. Also an easy fun way to paint with little ones

Low Ratings are from User-error
These water brushes are great & reduce the mess of dipping the brush in & out of a water container. All of the low reviews claiming it's leaky are from people who can't read directions properly. If it's leaky & continuously drips, you're putting too much water. It clearly says to notfill it all the way. If the way keeps pouring out too much when you dip the brush / try to paint with it? You're squeezing too hard or your grip is just not meant for this type of brush. Just hold it normally without any pressure & voila. No water drips.

Makes painting a lot easier.
I love these, I've been using them for quite a while now and I'm very happy with them over all. I do find the backflow of paint into the cylinder a little annoying. It makes cleaning a bit difficult but I find that if you unscrew it, fill the cup of the brush piece with water and blow it down through the bristles that works. It does take a few times though with darker colors.

Convenience, convenience and fun.
These are finicky to use, messy, use a lot of water, blend too much when you don't want them too. I love them though. They are fun. With these it a learning process and time. Don't expect to do a large area with a solid pigment like you can do with a brush these will wash out so expect to have art with light to dark and a lot of it. Like I said it adds uniqeness and I think people will either love or hate these, gearbest.com has a singe one of these for about three bucks or two bucks, but wait a month for shipping. What nice too with this set is it's all diefferent brushes to use. Brushes easily keep form and go back to perfect shape for storing and ez to clean just squeeze and wipe on paper towel, towel or napkin. Give em a shot if you got ten bucks to blow on something that could be a lot of fun or none, roll the dice, flip a coin but always be open minded. peace.
