Amazing!!

Love this hat! I bought this for my brother for Christmas and I wanted to test it out. This hat is very warm and good quality in my opinion. The sound is nice. I think the hat is not as loud as my phone(galaxy no5) when laying on the floor or just laying it somewhere. While when the hat is on your head it's very loud because the hat will only let you turn it up to a certain limit, but your phone will let you turn it up even louder. Basically what I'm trying to say is if you want other people around you to be able to hear it then they won't be able to hear it like a speaker will allow them too. It will be kinda soft to hear for them. Out of 10 it would be a 6 for them to hear not including outside cars driving or dogs barking. Also, the other drawback is one speaker will go right on my ear, but the other one is on my forehead a little bit just because that's where the speaker pockets are. It's still really loud to hear though when you have it on and only one speaker on your ear. This is all my opinion, so some people might think differently than me. I'm giving 5 stars because those drawbacks aren't a issue for me and I actually like the hat a lot for the price I paid.

great, except the buttons

Grabbed the neck wrap/cap combo (it's really the only way to hat if you have long hair) so I could pull it down, pull my hair out, and then pull it up into a hat (works a charm!) love it. size wise, i have a very very small head, even for a woman (i wear children's hats and glasses) and while it is loose, i can still wear it. most notably, even as small as my head is, there's no orientation where the speakers actually sit on my ears, they're either several inches in front of my ears, or about an inch behind my ears. this isn't terrible, but it definitely reduce the effectiveness of the speakers in areas with white noise, or other sounds. my only real beef is the buttons. they're bloody useless. it is completely impossible to ever actually hit the play/pause button alone without also hitting the forward or backward buttons next to it. this might possibly be the only headset where i regret the addition of extra buttons >< usually i'm complaining that it needs more button functionality, but this would really have worked better if it was just a play/pause button without the forward and back buttons to muck things up. Or maybe have them in wildly different spatial orientation, like the play/pause button in the top center, with the forward and back buttons on the bottom far right and left corners. anything to seperate them enough that you cannot even by accident hit the wrong button.

The best gifts/prizes for kids or probably anyone

I bought these as prizes for a semi-annual youth poetry competition, as well as snagged one for myself. It was on of a handful of different prizes but definitely the crowd favorite. This year I bought different brand and I was really disappointed with their quality. For this reason I went searching my order history for this first brand I bought (this one) and am ordering them again as prizes for the fall events, and probably a christmas present for my dad because no one needs to know i get erbody the same thing. comfort = a+ battery = a+ audio quality = a- (compared to a actual headset) style = a (subjectively)

Great buy

As a hat it's very comfortable and warm. The Bluetooth has pretty good range. Great sound from the two speakers. I haven't tested the battery life yet but so far I am impressed with this hat. Update: I have had it on for about 10 hours and at least 6 of those hours playing music. The battery life on it is great. Awesome buy on a great product.

Stable Bluetooth connection and reliable sound

The Bluetooth connecting and stable connection are easy and reliable. The range is good too, which I measured to me about 50 feet. The hat is warm, though wind can get in around the rim near your ears a bit. My wife got it for me as a present and I am very happy with it. I actually wear it inside as much as I wear it on my commute to work. I should also mention the volume and sound are both good, I have had no problems hearing and the sound is as good as any mid-level over-ear or in-ear headphones.

Son is in love with this

Son wears this constantly and adores it. Hes not one to walk around with headphones in. on low volume, you cant hear it unless you stand right next to him. He says the high volume is decent, and the blue tooth connection solid. (with a samsung) seems to have good battery life, and it's a nice hat, too.

My 10-yr old loves it

Bought this as a bday gift for my 10-year-old. He loves it. It really does work. When he has it on, I don't hear the audio coming from the beanie so it's not a distraction to bystanders. I'm sure if you stand close enough, you may hear some of the audio but it's not loud at all. Great gift idea!

Good product

Excellent product. I've been using it for about a year now. The distance is good- the sound is great and it looks good too. The Bluetooth headphones come out so you can wash the beanie or modify another one. I used it for work due to a no headphones policy, and it was very discrete. Definitely worth the money.

Good gift. Didn’t come with charger.

Bought as gift for a friend who works our all the time and keeps snagging the cords on his earphones and he really likes it. He has his garage set up as a gym so he gets cold a lot and he loves this combination. Easy to remove the electronics and wash as well. Did not come with charging cable but I had a lot of extra droid chargers which worked just fine, just so you are aware when purchasing. But was a great buy and made a great gift.

I LOVE this beanie

I LOVE this beanie! It works so well! I love being able to be headphone-free and warm. You can also wash the beanie--it's easy. Just turn it inside out, find the zipper, unzip, and gently remove the bluetooth apparatus. (It's just snugly fit into these stretchy fabric bands, so it's not hard to remove, but really easily stays put, too.) I charge mine every 3-4 days or so for just a few minutes, and it has enough power to go. (I have used it for up to 2 hours at a time.)
